Fantastic experience: I had CBT by Liam and full A Licence with Dave, both Mod 1 and Mod 2 Passed first time. Every times i did something wrong, Dave would find all my mistakes, took his time to explain and showed me the proper way to do it, as English is not my native language. It’s impossible for me to fail the exam as i do exactly what he told me! I would rate them thousands of stars if i can!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic time with ART on my journey to my full licence. These guys know their trade and do a great job of imparting their wealth of knowledge and building your confidence. They all did an amazing job of taking me from a complete novice to passing my MOD2.It took me around a month however that was from my introductory lesson with Dave to passing my test, with lessons and tests booked in around work. Nigel did my CBT and 125cc road riding day. He helped my work on my slow manoeuvres which I was struggling with. Simon took me out for my first lesson on the 650cc.Wow what an experience that power difference was. Simon was great and took myself and another learner on a lovely route with some great roads to ride on. Then Dave took me out for my final lesson and to my MOD1 test. Dave has a great eye for finessing your riding technique .Gareth was my test taxi to my MOD2 guy is a good luck charm and a fun person to ride with. Just don't let him take you to a dealership after passing. Like being taught to ride by a group of mates. An incredibly enjoyable experience. Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend the guys at ART enough! I’ve just passed my A2 first time, which for something that I was quite nervous about they made it an enjoyable experience. Gareth was my instructor for the 3 day course, and honestly he couldn’t have been better. He explained things clearly and in an easy way to understand. He was very patient and would make sure you were totally happy before moving on. Gareth was very supportive and even offered his support for the future if I needed any help with finding a suitable bigger bike etc. Overall, this is the place to go for any bike training you need. Fantastic experience: I am Vishnu and I took my CBT from ART Southampton on 10th October. From the first day I went to enquire about the CBT to the day I got the CBT, I had great experience there. Everybody was so welcoming and friendly that you will feel comfortable and confident straightaway. Nigel was my instructor and he was really like a big brother who was calm and patient with me explaining everything, especially when I made couple of mistakes. Fantastic experience: I recently completed CBT,The instructor was(Nigel) not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and supportive throughout the entire process. He took the time to ensure the student, regardless of their prior riding experience, felt comfortable and confident on the road. The training was well-structured, starting with the basics of motorcycle safety and gradually progressing to more advanced riding skills. This approach made it easy to build a strong foundation and gradually build up my confidence. One aspect that stood out was the emphasis on safety. The instructors made sure we understood the importance of protective gear, defensive riding techniques, and how to handle various road conditions. They instilled a sense of responsibility and awareness that I now carry with me every time I ride. The training facility providing valuable insights into the rules of the road and best practices for motorbike riders. I also appreciated the personalized feedback I received during the practical riding sessions. The instructor was attentive to our individual needs In the end, not only i got My CBT but also left the course as a more confident and skilled rider. Fantastic experience: I did my CBT and full A2 Training with ART after never riding a bike before (but holding a full car license), I did a one hour taster session then a 5 day course and passed first time. Nigel delivered my CBT and did an amazing job at getting me at ease with the lower cc bike and safe on the roads, Was a great day and i really felt confident going into my A2 Training days. Gareth did my road rider day and days of training following upto my test day, Each day was great and catered to mine and the other pupils needs. We stopped off for lunch each day, had everything explained to us in clear terms and overall it was an absolutely amazing experience. Gareth was really supportive for the MOD1 and MOD2 tests and so i passed both first time. I will definitely be returning to ART to complete my full A license in 2 years time! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT today having never ridden a motorcycle in my life. Gareth was excellent, very friendly with a great sense of humour but also straight to the point with the things I needed to pick up on. This made the day a great learning experience but also extremely enjoyable at the same time.

Fantastic experience: Simon was an extremely competent trainer, I'm 65 not sat on a motorcycle for over 30 year's, he was very relaxed, put my mind at ease straight away, I unfortunately didn't go on road, my session was a more of a get used to wheels again, my balance let me down. On a positive note my son who came down as well passed with flying colours well done Simon.

Fantastic experience: I did my DAS with the ART team and could not fault them! After having issues with other companies Dave made a tailored plan with me to get things done. Due to the shortage of tests available we booked in both mod 1 and mod 2 on a cancellation basis and I managed to pass my DAS within two weeks! Dave and Simon both gave me reassurance and confidence to obtain my big boy liscence fixing up all those bad habits along the way. With them I passed both tests first time . Also like to shout out the rest of the team, Yasher, Nigel and Gareth who always made me feel welcome and entertained me greatly with their jokes!! THANKYOU ALL! Highly recommended!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dave, Gareth, Yakob (spelling?) and Simon were all fantastic at ART Southampton. The team worked hard to get me booked in for my intensive DAS course and then provided superb training throughout the 3 days; culminating with a smooth and prepared pass mark for both Module 1 and Module 2. All of the instructors have their own methods; all of them are also skilled at explaining the balance between 'by the book' and real world biking. They prepare and refine your riding, focusing on making sure you are confident and safe along with having both the knowledge of the road and the wisdom of when to apply it. From having never ridden a road bike, to passing my full category A test, (3 day course spread out due to my schedule) it pays to have the team at ART coach you to success!

Fantastic experience: Just completed my DAS after a three day intensive training course, passed first time. Really great riding school, I was instructed by Simon, who was calm, clear and great at making sure you really ironed out all those tiny faults to make you into the best rider you could be. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Assured Rider Training enough. I Just passed my mod1 and mod2 first time after the 3 day DAS course. I initially had huge doubt in myself that I’d even make it through the training, but I applied myself and surprised myself thoroughly. Simon was an incredible instructor from start to finish. He helped me feel confident in not only passing my test but in being an excellent, safe and skilled rider too. I did not feel nervous for my test because I knew I had the skills required to pass. Simon set the bar high and I feel like a much better rider for it. I genuinely enjoyed every minute of this experience and hats off to Simon for training me not only to pass my test, but for giving me the tools and foundations to become the best rider I could possibly be. Please don’t look any further than these guys.

Fantastic experience: Great guys with a lot of knowledge and patience! Did my novice induction lesson with Simon, and another extra lesson + CBT with Jacob. Both were brilliant instructors. Jacob even kindly helped me with some autotrader ads and buying my first bike. Thanks again and will be definitely coming back here in the future for a full license!

Fantastic experience: Passed my DAS course back I February first time, all guys were great , Dave, Simon and Jakob all had their ways of teaching which was brilliant. Highly recommend if you're looking to get your CBT or Motorbike licence!

Fantastic experience: Used this place for my son to take his CBT, CBT is something you don't pass or fail, how ever being competent at the end of the course to use the road safely is the main concern of this training school. My son did his course and was asked to come back 3 additional times until the instructor thought he was competent to be on the roads. Every additional lesson after the CBT course was frustrating, thinking he was good to go on the road, I called the instructor after his 2 additional lessons and I was told exactly why they didn't think he was competent. Now some training centres could very easily say you've done your day's course here's your certificate of you go. I am very grateful to the instructor for holding my son back until he got it right. Any parent worries about their kid using a bike, I sleep much better that he took those additional lessons safe in the knowledge he's more road aware, so a big thank you for taking time and giving additional care for my son, 100% recommend this training school they actually care !!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just completed my CBT after spending two previous hours with ART, what a fantastic group of instructors they have, top for knowledge, patience and making it fun. Fantastic experience: I have just completed my direct access course with ART. Passing both mod1 and mod2 tests on the first attempt. I couldn’t recommend ART enough, from the moment I first arrived they made me feel at ease. I started with a one hour assessment with Dave, having never ridden a motorbike before. He suggested the 5day DAS course. I completed the CBT and Road rider on a 125cc with Gareth and felt very confident and ready to move onto a 650cc. Then went onto do the DAS1 & 2 with Simon on a 650cc. Both instructors were very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day learning with. Very reasonable pricing and brilliant instructing. Fantastic experience: I’ve literally just completed my CBT and I cannot thank Nigel, Simon and Dave enough. When I first went at the end of January I was extremely nervous and couldn’t get certain elements of the test down safely. I then did a 121 a week later and then today completed my test. All of the guys down there were extremely friendly, good laugh and were unbelievably supportive and reassuring. If you’re looking to get your CBT and/or licence I cannot recommend these guys enough. Fantastic experience: Would recommend these guys to anyone having an interest in at least trying out what riding a motorbike feels like. Went there back in October for an introductory lesson, had so much fun that I booked the CBT right after. Before I knew it I had booked the DAS course for the full licence and after a weekend on a "big bike" the guys had me feeling well prepared for my Mod1&2. Every single one of them is an absolute pleasure to learn and ride with, they know what they are doing and will teach you how to stay safe. And there will be no shortage of jokes!

The training is that good that Tests are almost incidental. That said they all put in that extra effort and support to address anything that may be an issue come test day. Fantastic experience: After a break of ~17 years (formerly riding a 2003 Suzuki GZ250 when I was younger), I came to ART to re-realize my dream of riding again. It was a personal challenge to accept the fact that I didn't remember how to ride and conduct basic manouevers. At my intro lesson in August I was (re-)learning how to stop smoothly. I started on the 125 very timid that I would ever be capable of getting a full license. These guys are so good at training. I signed up for the 5-day DAS training. Did my CBT at the end of August with Simon. Had a day-long ride with Gareth, and 1:1 lesson with Dave for my first time on the 650. Then did the DAS in October, again with Simon. I passed Module 1 and Module 2 both on the same day, on my first go at it, and it rained during my Module 2. Unbelievable. Today I test rode an SV650 in Bournemouth and liked it so much that I drove it home. So in ~2 months, I've progressed from: maybe I could try to pass the CBT? and get some riding experience on a 125 for a few years?.. to.. Give me this SV650 and I'll see about a track day. Now that I've got my bike, I think the stock exhaust probably has got to go and I wouldn't mind seeing about a more custom seat design. I can get to 50mph in 2nd gear in a few seconds. The future is bright. Listen to your instructors and you will achieve your dreams, too. (maybe dreams you didn't even know you had!)

Fantastic experience: Amazing Training ! I am 55 Years old (probably having some sort of mid life crisis getting a bike now.... !) and training for a full motorbike licence. I completed my CBT yesterday on the 650CC bikes after having a Rider experience day/hour previously on them. I have to say the quality of training on the rider experience (Dave) and full CBT day (Simon) was amazing. It is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, you feel like you are very welcome by all the guys running the training and nothing is too much bother. I have my next day of training and then my Module 1 and Module 2 full test at the end of this month. I cannot wait. I would highly recommend Assured Rider Training in Southampton. You will love it! Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing staff. I had nigel he was an amazing cbt instructor with over 50 of years experience especially long distance riding of motorbikes. He was funny and kind aswell as always making sure you had the help you needed to understand everything and felt safe at all times. I loved that you get one on one time with the instructor as there is only two of you at a time. ART are also disability friendly if you have autism, adhd etc. This is the school for you to attend as I've said they're amazing. They take the time and if you make mistakes they get explained to you without any judgment. The gear you need is also provided without any additional cost. Booking an appointment is super easy and i even got a sooner date as there was a cancellation. There is also a sandwich van that stops so you can buy yourself lunch.

Fantastic experience: I must say that I am positively shocked with my experience with ART. I was very anxious about the experience but I'm glad I pushed myself and that I went with ART. Even though I had my training during the busy season, the instructors do not treat you as "just another student", but as a human begin. We talked about our interests, motorcycles and life in general, which made me feel welcomed. Fantastic experience: I have spent quite a bit of time at Assured Rider training since Summer last year (2021) I didn't do my CBT with them, but chose them for my direct access main bike training and test. From the initial rider assessment, through the 3 day direct access course which I had to abandon due to a very bad back, then planning my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests separately due to ongoing back problems, Dave and his crew were extremely accommodating, helpful, patient and supportive. They have a deep knowledge and love of their subject, they cover the test area throughly and make sure that as a rider you are well prepared, not only for your test but also for your onward career as a motorcyclist. I couldn't recommend anyone better to do your test with, even if you are from as far away as Bournemouth or Poole.

Fantastic experience: Went in being skeptical but however as the training and talking began In the centre I understood it more and the staff and facility was all round good and patient which lessened the nervousness overall, Nigel is a great instructor to have, hes always telling you what things to approve. In conclusion I am riding on the road comfortable and was chuffed! If your coming to do your CBT do it here

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Assured Rider Training enough if you’re thinking of doing your CBT. I had Gareth as an instructor and he took the time to understand how I learn, he was patient, calm, told some really awful dad jokes, but they actually helped me to chill out. Gareth really helped me to have confidence and believe in myself, which is a real challenge in itself. Last year I had a really bad experience doing a CBT with a another company and it completely knocked my confidence, so much so that I very nearly didn’t get on a bike again, but I’m glad I did and I will be going back to ART when I want to do my full bike licence. The whole team are so supportive, patience, kind and really invested in making sure that you’re safe and comfortable with the bike. I can’t thank you enough for helping me to make a life long dream come true.

Fantastic experience: I had my CBT yesterday (9/03/22) with Gareth… What an amazing day was fun made to feel vary comfortable and was put to ease when I told him I was worried about the road ride… Would give more stars but google only allowed me to put 5… Definitely recommend them and will be looking to do my full bike license with them ones Iv got some more miles under my belt..

Fantastic experience: I tried a trial hour with this training centre and they were so lovely and patient. I built my confidence very quickly and I will definitely be going back here to do my CBT when I'm ready. I really enjoyed the session and the guys here were really helpful with information about women's clothing and plus size help too. No one made it awkward, just factual and it was great.

Jacob went above and beyond to support me today during my cbt, this is my second cbt, but my first time completing with A.R.T and what I have received in the past from a different company was nothing compared to what I learnt here today!
