Fantastic experience: 3 of us just done 2 days of riding guided by steve. Stayed overnight in a shared room onsite, pub just down the road, breakfast provided in the morning. All in all, great weekend, some good lanes both easy and challenging. Will definitely return, hopefully with a bigger group of us next time around. Thanks Steve

Fantastic experience: Amazing day with Steve, overall experience was brilliant from great communication before arriving all the way through to the days riding. Steve is a great coach and can explain techniques in an easy way, there was two of us on the day and we both left better riders. The apartment you can have use of is perfect for staying in. The trails were nicely planned out and suited the skill level or lack of skill level we had. A really fun day and I can’t wait to get back again

Fantastic experience: Had a great weekend on the big bike adventure. Steve took us from his base in mid Wales up to our overnight stay in Snowdonia and then back on the second day. Good group of guys on a mixture of bikes. Great trails with some road sections to make a interesting overall tour. The scenery was amazing! Will be going back soon for sure.

Fantastic experience: Just had a weekend with Steve (superb) the lanes was epic, couldn't ask for a better experience, got there put our bikes in lock up bikers flat was ready for us which is realy spot on warm bed hot water great chill out views what else can you ask for, woke up next had a great breakfast waiting for us with thanks to Steve's wife it was spot on, lained Saturday and Sunday great experience will 1000% recommend and were oredy planning our next trip up maybe do 3 days next time, thanks again for a realy spot on service

Fantastic experience: Great weekend riding with Steve, 3 of us took our own bikes down and had a good mix of riding from technical routes to fast flowing, accommodation is very good and an excellent cooked breakfast, already looking at more dates to go back down.

Fantastic experience: I did a day with Steve in June 2024. I took advantage of the flat to relax the night before and Steve made a lovely breakfast in the morning. I was kitted out with everything needed and used the lowered KTM 450 which was ideal. I was apprehensive as I’ve only ridden road bikes, but after Steve showed me the basics and gave me some tips, I started to relax. As the day went on, steve passed on more of his substantial knowledge and took me on some tricker trails. The Welsh countryside is beautiful. I can’t recommend Trail Riding UK enough and I’m looking forward to future visits. It was a brilliant experience, highly recomemded. Thank you Steve.

The B&B onsite means you are fresh and ready to start. The kit and the bikes (I hired mine) are perfect for a day of adventure! Came away smiling and with more skills to put to use on the road.

BUT, don't be fooled - Steve has every detail organised, generously shares his knowledge and experience for your safety, enjoyment with valuable coaching tips thrown in for good measure. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic weekend with Steve at Trail Riding UK. I specifically wanted to test the capabilities and limits of my GSA in a controlled environment as I have grand plans to travel further afield into the future. Steve provided some great pointers and then let us learn by applying throughout the two days - he was happy to provide feedback and advice for those that wanted more instruction. Absolutely recommend if you want to try your big bike offroad with a knowledgable and patient guide but worth having the right tyres if likely to be wet. I thoroughly tested my GSA offroad on a mixture of tracks and happy to report the big Beemer is bulletproof!

Fantastic experience: The Big Bike Adventure Tour was without doubt one of the best weekends I’ve had in a very long time. Steve’s local knowledge of the lanes and fantastic B roads is second to none. That mixed with the amazing views and the advice on how to ride certain lanes made me want to book straight back up for another go. Trail Riding UK has everything you could ever want if you like adventure.

Fantastic experience: I had a great day riding with Steve, started off with an excellent cooked breakfast which included my favourite Black Pudding I got kitted up from Steve’s huge range of protective gear, and then got acquainted with the KTM that I was going to be riding for the day. Steve quickly cottoned onto my riding level, which meant I got the most out of the day doing some technical routes that were pretty challenging without being overwhelming. (I think my years of motocross back in the day must have helped) All of the routes were great with beautiful scenery and views. All in all a great day and I’ll be back soon, no doubt - Steve was already telling me about some other routes he’s got planned for me!

Fantastic experience: Im fresh back from a fantastic days of instructional riding with Steve from Trail riding UK. Steve will tell you he's not strictly an instructor but he has a ton of experience to pass on and thats exactly what he did. I loaded my new bike in my Van and headed to Steves HQ where I was offered a nights accommodation in his riders apartment which also included hearty English breakfast all for an incredibly modest price. We set out in the morning and I told Steve what areas I wanted to polish my skills up on. He planned a fantastic route which served my needs well and I throughly enjoyed the day practicing new skills whilst riding in some of Wales's most magnificent scenery. I came way both inspired and confident. I would not hesitate in reccomending at Trail Riders UK for an amazing Welsh trail riding experience.

Fantastic experience: Another awesome weekend with Steve leading our group of 5 very capable riders. This time we tackled a big loop, with an overnight stay in the fabulous Hafren Forest Hideaway near Machynlleth, where our hosts Sarah and Darren treated us like royalty. The route was superb: scenic, technical and challenging.

Fantastic experience: Great weekend with Steve doing his ‘Mac and Back’ 2 dayer. 238 miles, great lanes. Excellent overnight stay at the Hideaway in Hafren Forest. Most importantly, Steve looks after you. He doesn’t nanny you, but quickly spots skills and experience, and knows how to vary routes and ‘get outs’ on technical sections for those who do not want to do it. He keeps you as safe as is possible in a sport which can hurt at times. Highly recommended. Thanks Steve.

Fantastic experience: Just competed a weekend with Steve at the UK’s premier trail riding centre. Accommodation and breaky spot on, lanes start pretty much on the doorstep and Steve knows the routes like the back of his hand. If you’re considering doing it, stop thinking about it and just get in booked, you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Me and 3 pals arranged a weekend trail riding with Steve , we were welcomed and told roughly where we would be heading, we stayed in his riders flat , which had tea and coffee , a tv , bathroom with shower , fridge . There is a local pub 5 minutes walk away which serves food which is excellent ✅ we were served breakfast at 8am in Steve’s dining room which was excellent full English. We then geared up and hit the trails which are minutes from his base. Next day was the the same set up but different trails , we had a blast both days and we will be heading back for sure. Drying room at night to put your kit in and if you’re nice to him you can jet wash your bike at the end . I thoroughly reccomend it , and it’s great value for money , so get booked on ✅

Fantastic experience: An incredible day trail riding through Wales with Steve. We took our own bikes and put them through their paces on some epic technical routes through rivers and streams, up rocky hills and through forest sections. literally every type of terrain you could think of. Lots of helpful riding tips from Steve through out the day were appreciated. 100% going to book up again with a few more of the lads. Thanks again!!

Fantastic experience: Four of us went for a day’s riding with Steve. It was brilliant. Muddy and wet conditions made for some excellent trails that were just the right balance of challenge. Some beautiful scenery too - even with the clouds. Really recommended and we are already planning a return trip. Book when you can - you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Great day with Steve on Sunday, we are both novices and were very keen to come home without getting hurt falling off! Steve did a great job of building up our experience and skills as the day went on, giving us coaching before sections and then getting steadily more tricky in the afternoon… Being able to stay on site, with a great pub nearby and a top breakfast in the morning worked really well and the bikes ran seamlessly all day. Fantastic experience: Had an absolutely CRACKING time today!! Trails were superb and varied and challenging - I'm a novice green laner and it was an eye opener! Learn a huge amount and felt bags of confidence. The rides are tailored to your energy, skill level, etc. Steve is a very patient and experienced guide and knew all the right places and lanes to go on. That's something you can only do if you have the hours to find out, and it is clear he has put in the hours. Thank you so much, I will 100% be back (and hopefully not chuck my bike on the floor so much/get stuck on rocks/ride over trees etc). Definitely a new riding hobby discovered - eye opening and challenging but great fun! If you're new, absolutely start your journey off doing a ride with him as you will learn so much and have a great time! Thank you once again!!

Fantastic experience: Had a great day out with Steve Yesterday. I came the day before and stayed at the B&B and Steve started off the day by cooking up a lovely fried breakfast. He drives a smooth operation, the bike was in perfect condition as was the gear, and with Steve’s guidance we made easy work of the trails on a sunny dry day. It’s clear Steve knows the area, the bikes and is a very capable enduro rider. He gave just the right amount of riding tips, at the right moments to build confidence. I’ll be back as soon as I get the chance.

Fantastic experience: Had a blast with Steve and Graham on Sunday with my two brothers. Hired the bikes and all the gear with Steve - all good quality and the bikes were clearly well looked after. Staying on site at Steve's guest flat and the fry-up thrown in was a great touch (and delicious) —thanks Steve's wife! Riding with Steve will make you a better off-road biker, we learnt loads of stuff we hadn't picked up on other off road days elsewhere and had a great time doing it. Cheers Steve!

Fantastic experience: Spent Sunday riding the trails with Steve. Really well organised. Best bit was Steve judging what level your at then offering loads of advice on how to improve. Little exercises to improve your offroad skills. If you're willing to listen, you'll improve your trail riding loads. Bikes were well looked after and in good condition as was the hired riding gear. Loads of sizes. Would do it again any time

Fantastic experience: Our host Steve gave us a great day out. We were a group of four and the day included green laning, along with some harder stuff as the day went on. He quickly sorted out the lowest skill level in the pack ( me) and tailored the ride accordingly. We used his accommodation the night before, which with a good set of earplugs was great and thrown in along with breakfast as part of the price. Scenery stunning and an overall great day out. We stayed in the Royal oak in Welshpool for the second night, which was also great value.

From doing a slippy steep descent terribly in the morning, Steve ripping up everything i thought i knew, we did the same hill 4 hours later and I amazed myself! Fantastic experience: Two off-road novices; one not ridden any bike for 15+ years; one 5 years... What could go wrong? For us, not much. Our novice status was not a problem, so easy start on the KTM hire bikes, building up a little to our (rather low) limits. Bit of rain and a more challenging second day. Sadly, we didn't finish as naturally gifted off-road experts, but the routes chosen suited us perfectly and left us challenged and happy without bruises. Definitely learned along the way, and certainly met our expectations. B&B was fine and pub had good food/beer. Overall a great weekend and would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Booked me and my 3 friends for a days riding with Steve on the KTMs. We stayed at the flat which is on the premises and it was more than adequate for the 4 of us. English breakfast was served in the morning and 1 of the group was vegetarian and he was also catered for. Steve has a wealth of experience which he passes on during the day. He asseses the groups riding ability and plans the route accordingly. Fantastic experience: Me and my biker mates had a great day out on the green lanes of Wales with TRUK and we would thoroughly recommend them for a true trail biking experience! After using the bikers accommodation the night before we sat down for a full breakfast at 0800 and then donned all the kit supplied to us by Steve, the business owner! We were soon on the KTM’s being led by the very experienced Tim who knowledge of the lanes was immense! Back marker was Graham who ensured we were all kept together and picked us up on the odd occasion . These guys were not only a pleasure to spend a day with but knew their stuff with regard to off road biking and gave us tips to improve and to handle at times, some very challenging terrain. Having started the day very much out of our comfort zone, we did improve as the day went on and finished the day a much improved off road rider. This was a real adventure for all three of us and we will never forget this experience. Thanks to Steve, Tim and Graham for looking after us, you are doing a great job!

Every terrain from narrow green lanes, farm tracks, open moorland stone trails, water crossings and tricky woodland. Good deal with a local pub for accommodation too. Fantastic experience: Great day being guided around a good mix of trails. We stayed the night before, had a decent breakfast, then set off after being shown around the KTMs, which it turns out are seriously capable pieces of kit. I'd definitely recommend Trail Riding UK, only downside is that I now really want to do some bike shopping .

Fantastic experience: My Brother decided this would be great event for my Stag do. He wasn't wrong! Despite not having ridden a motorcycle for 12 years or ever been off road on a bike, Steve the owner of TR UK took us one some excellent trails, tracks and roads. With Graham, the greatest 'Gate Man', on hand to make sure the live stock stayed contained, I was taken on an experience that thrilled and in some parts terrified me but in a good way. I may have to get myself one of those KTM 400s. A great way to spend a Sunday. Thanks my Brother, Steve and Graham!

Fantastic experience: Superb day out, wonderful scenery, brilliant trails, the perfect day on a bike. Organisation is great, Steve is a superb host, providing all the riding equipment together with the bike. If you are into bikes, you need to try this at least once. The trails take you deep into the beautiful countryside…you haven’t been off the beaten track till you’ve spent a day with Trail Riders UK.

Fantastic experience: Steve did a great job during a day of training last week. He did well to coach me during my first session off-road- his pitch was excellent and he did well to build on the basics without overloading with complex techniques. The improvement in skill and confidence by the end of the day was astounding. In terms of the trails, they were varied and selected at a level to suit the rider. Nice stop for lunch and the riders flat was a convenient place to stay for the night. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to gain off-road experience once they have some on-road abilities with a bike.

Fantastic experience: I stayed in the riders flat, and enjoyed a couple of beers at the Horseshoe Inn. All very comfortable- remember the £1 coin for the meter, though in summer it's not really needed. After a great cooked breakfast in Steve's kitchen I had a fabulous day with him today trail riding in the hills around Lake Vyrnwy- Steve is a meticulous guide, and his place is well equipped with kit and bikes. A really enjoyable day in his company, and a fabulous day on the bike. I recommend it to anyone interested in riding through some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK.

Fantastic experience: Me and my friend Dan had a great time with Steve today. He catered for my needs perfectly. Having not been on any kind of motorcycle for the last 6 years I was pretty nervous. First time trail riding also. He assured me and went easy on me until I found my feet. We did a nice mix of beginner trails in the morning and as the day progressed we hit some of the intermediate trails which were fantastic. Wouldn’t of been able to complete them without his brilliant guidance! He’s a top man! We’ll be back.

Fantastic experience: We had a great day out with Steve on Fri 18/03/22. There were three of us and we arrived the evening before to stay in the riders bunk house. Dinner and a beer at the local pub was great. Started the morning with a filling full English, a full bike briefing and then hit the road/trails. Steve is a very experienced rider/guide and set the pace to accommodate all of us, gradually progressing during the day to more challenging rides. The bikes, all KTM, were well maintained and gave us no issues. Overall a fantastic day which we all enjoyed. No hesitation in recommending.

Fantastic experience: Just got home from a fantastic days riding with Steve, and 2 of my friends. Firstly we had a great evening in the Horseshoes pub just a few minutes walk down the road. Stayed in the cosy little accommodation that is included in the price of the ride. Woke up to a fantastic breakfast served by Steve, set us up nicely for the day, ( again all included in the price.) after a short fitting with all the gear we needed, we had a tutorial from Steve who wanted to assess our abilities before we set off, after a ride around the yard for a couple of min, off we went. Great days riding that pushed us to our limit’s as novices, but very well supervised and tutored by Steve at all times. Definitely highly recommend and will be back again soon. Thanks again Steve.

Fantastic experience: 5 of us friends joined together for a days riding with Steve and his KTM bikes. All bikes & equipment provided in the inclusive cost were in good condition and lots of size options. The use of the accommodation for the night before and a decent full breakfast & Steve's new barista skills meant we were ready to get underway 9am ish for a full day of riding. We are all road/off-road bikers of one era or another and this was a great day to blow off the cobwebs enjoy the scenery and routes and learn from the tips provided by Steve. The 75ish mile route involved a lot of country lanes to get from one green lane to the next, and some decent off-road trails in the mix. Thanks very much Steve for a great day out. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Three of us booked a day with steve, we had no prior off road experience. We had an amazing day blasting through the countryside, he catered the day to our ability and we all felt like we gained a lot of experience but more importantly had a lot of fun. It was only three and a half hours from london and we all agreed for the days riding, bike hire, a room for the night and breakfast the price would be hard to beat. We will be looking to go again at some point for sure. Only problem is now I have to see if i can make space in the garage for an enduro bike

Fantastic experience: Me and two friend went out for the day with Trail Riding UK late last year just before the season ended, Tim took us on some great trail’s pushing our bikes and skills to the next level and Steve was even kind enough to borrow one of the riders some boots and trousers for free. We have another day booked this year in May for 5 of us. I would definitely recommend Trail Riding UK, it’s a great day out with great people.

Fantastic experience: My first experience on a trail bike with two friends here with Steve 'the bike'. Everything was catered for giving us all confidence for our days riding. An awesome 80miles of challenging trails with careful and methodical guidance from our guide Steve with a much needed lunch stop to refuel ourselves! A very welcome and fun few days with everything we needed. Our en-suite annex with fridge, TV, tea/coffee facilities etc was spot on and our breakfast amazing. Thanks Steve and his team for making sure we enjoyed a top few days away! Will 100% be coming back to push ourselves again!

Fantastic experience: Rode with Steve in August was a really good day would definitely recommend the day ran so smoothly we did stay the night before and the accommodation was top notch and the breakfast was amazing we started riding around 9 the views and trails are definitely worth going for we stopped for lunch and fuel half way through the day definitely 5 star service

Fantastic experience: Done a few enduro days with Steve now, all have been fantastic. Stunning riding and scenery, Steve gives patient and calm instruction when you want it but isn't overbearing when you don't. And a great English breakfast to boot!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing day. We used the accommodation on the Friday night, which was perfect had a lovely breakfast ready for us in the morning. Then we spent the day riding the most amazing roads and lanes. Although it was overcast, the views were incredible. Steve has an extensive knowledge of trail riding and it was great riding with him and building our confidence throughout the day. Well worth the money and I would definitely do it again.
