Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT test in October with instructor Rob, the man was a gent and very clear with his instructions. He had a very deep insight into the safety aspect which I very very much appreciated. The entire team were very pleasant throughout the full training experience. I had never riding a motorcycle until the day of my CBT so my nerves were very high, Rob and the team were excellent, lots of information but trained with his own experiences and examples, with safety clothing especially. I found this all very reassuring and all credit to Rob in building my confidence through the day, unfortunately there was not enough time in the first day to complete the 2 hour on road training but the team were able to get me booked in very quickly. I cannot recommend them enough for your CBT and will be going back in the next few years to move up my bike license. If you are unsure of anything , I would suggest going in and speaking to them, they are helpful and give you the best information to help.

Fantastic experience: Great fun sitting my CBT and can't wait to start the A license training. The instructor Rob was clearly a very skilled teacher and gave a comprehensive and engaging course. The on-road section went at our pace and we covered a huge range of different road situations. My biggest takeaway from the day was these guys are very concerned about your safety and will prepare you in every way you need to be.

Fantastic experience: Had my CBT with Cameron Motorcycles on Sunday, and from the get go, our instructor Rob was friendly, informative, and honest. Rob is extremely patient and encouraging, I was feeling a bit shaky during the exercises in the yard but when it came time to go out on the road, I felt confident and safe. Rob provided us with clear instructions and always made sure to compliment us when we did things well on the roads. The weather was terrible on the 2 hour ride into the town but to be honest it added to the experience... I can't recommend Cameron Motorcycles enough for your CBT, and I'll likely be back to train for my full licence in the near future.

Fantastic experience: I sat my CBT today and it's was honeslty a top tier experience as someone with Audhd I struggle with over analysing and over thinking things to be more complex then they are. Rob was an absolute legend spoke to me like a human being not like a 3rd rate citizen and was an amazing asset to have when learning to ride the overall staff and business as a whole is leagues above any experience I've had in any realm of customer service. You're not just a customer your made to feel like it's a second home in some ways and I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done and provided me with.if you're looking to get your foot in the door or even expand your skill set I would recommend these guys over anyone else

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience, would 10/10 recommend. My instructor was Rob who was really kind, patient and friendly. He spoke very clear English and was patient and compassionate when I was trying to answer questions in my own words. So absolutely recommend to anyone if struggling with new terms and are afraid of the language barrier. When I passed my CBT, I felt safe to be on the road and I received a valuable feedback where to improve. I would highly recommend to get extra lessons if needed/recommended. Great policy on their helmets and very helpful while picking one out that actually fits perfectly. Overall, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and kind.

Fantastic experience: Sat my CBT yesterday and was one challenging day as had never been on a motorcycle before and was like a toddler on their first balance bike but with the help and patience of my instructor Rob was successful able to gain my cbt by the end of the day Rob was absolutely amazing so patient and helpful and always gave you that pick up when you didn't get things at first. The owner even came and spent some time with us and gave us some really useful helpful information, Thankyou Rob and Camerons motorcycles for being there every step of the way so far and especially Alexis from the shop who was just great and very informative when first fitting me for my bike gear even if it did take a dozen helmets to fit my wee tiny head Will be back soon, not seen the last of me yet thanks everyone 100% recommend that this is the place to learn and grow on a motorcycle.

Made the whole day a fantastic learning experience for me personally. Glad to now have my CBT and able to hit the road thanks to Rob. Shame about the dead puppies though.

Fantastic experience: I sat my cbt with Cameron motorcycles yesterday and i was so amazing with the experience i got yesterday! Rob my instructor was so informative yet so laid back it was a BREEZE learning from him. I personally suffer with autism and i managed to feel so welcomed! The owner even came out herself and spend some time with the class and gave us all some tips! A place where your skills can grow and flourish. This has to be the only place to go hands down to get introduced to motorcycle riding. Good value of knowledge for money and i will be working with them closely to get my through my full bike licence! 1 million percent recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had a great, but tiring, day doing my CBT with Rob from Cameron Motorcycles. Supposed to be three of us but two no shows meant I had one-to-one tuition which was great for me. From start to finish the training was relaxed, informative and professional and Rob was so patient with me, which gave me the confidence to do what was required to pass. From a shakey start to getting out on the road was easy and fun. When I made mistakes Rob just encouraged me to try it again. Rob is a great instructor and I would highly recommend him. Thanks Rob.

Fantastic experience: Camerons have worked a miracle. This school is honestly so incredible. They always take their time, they fully support everyone's individual learning journeys and make adjustments wherever possible to meet your needs. They prioritise to make sure mo ones progress is hindered, and they do their best to keep everyone safe. Fantastic experience: Great team here, very friendly and accomodating. Nice shop too with Herald bikes for sale, services and a full range of quality clothing and helmets. Bought their 10 lesson block after CBT elsewhere so probably started around May. Now end of August and have full license! Highly recommended for anyone starting out.

Fantastic experience: Sat my CBT at Cameron Motorcycles and couldn't be happier with the help, tuition and just all round relaxed environment. We started off with basic bike control in their yard with Rosie who was brilliant. She went through everything never rushing through any stage until we were happy and comfortable with what we were doing. In the afternoon we were out onto the road, this time with Rob, fantastic. Talked us through every stage on the road, kept us safe giving different bit of information for each moment and what to look for in the future. The only thing I would have changed on the day was the weather, but still a brilliant day. Few days later we returned to pick up our bikes and enjoyed the rider back to Glasgow. Would recommend Cameron Motorcycles to anyone thinking about bike lessons and when the time comes I'll be heading there for my full licence.

Picked out a helmet here as well and didn’t feel rushed as they want to make sure you get the right fit and are properly equipped to get out on the road. Positive experience: I had rob as my instructor and he was brand new, really good at explaining everything and demonstrating all you need. Only thing id improve is that i have had my cbt prior and it was a resit and i was with someone clueless about motorcycle so it ended up being a really long day, nothing to do with them or the place just with who is paird up on the day Again appreciate all the support for cbt and everything else

Fantastic experience: I traveled over 80 miles to go to Cameron's as it was the only place with a CBT slot available with only a one month wait, I highly recommend going here as my instructor Rob was an amazing instructor and had similar interests in TV shows to me, he neither lacked kind instruction but also showed me where I was wrong/ had made mistakes and explained where I went wrong and how to fix it, overall a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Cameron Bike Training team. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Had been thinking of getting a second hand helmet but they explained the dangers in this and fitted me properly with a great helmet at a reasonable price. The CBT itself was brilliant with very experienced instructor Rob calming any nerves. If you are worried in any way about signing up for a CBT, don’t be. Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Cameron Bike Training. Honestly can’t recommend them enough. So helpful and prepared to go the extra mile to help you out. I will continue my bike training with them. Absolutely second to none. For the cost of the CBT and what you get I just don’t know how they do it for the price. I drove over an hour to get there as my local training was fully booked, I would be happy to travel double that for the day of training I received. Definitely well more than the minimum requirements for CBT.

Fantastic experience: I had gone in to another shop previously to get a helmet but they weren't too much help. Craig and the team here helped me out last week with getting a correctly fitting helmet and making me feel much safer. I also decided to go with them for my CBT which I completed today. Absolutely top notch service from them all especially Rob our instructor. He has been riding for years and was exceedingly knowledgeable about all the topics covered under the CBT and more as we chatted through the day. It was a long day with us starting at 8am and not getting done till nearly 7pm but Rob took us through it all in a calm and very personable manner and kept us all safe. He was clear and concise about instructions and always made sure you were happy and comfortable before moving on. It was a fantastic experience and I am so glad I chose Cameron's motorcycles for my CBT. Can't recommend the store more highly either, other stores may have more range however Cameron's only sell high quality gear that they themselves would wear and I just really appreciated their attitude towards safety and training. Thanks again Rob for being an absolute legend today! I have a feeling I'll be back very soon for some bigger bike training and and some more gear!

Fantastic experience: I just went through my CBT with Camerons with Rob as an instructor, could recommend them enough. He was very knowledgeable and thorough, its a long day training but you feel very equipped to be out on the road afterwards.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience with Rob (the instructor of my CBT) and the 2 other learners. I came off my bike on the “the oblong round about” mainly due to weather conditions combined with fuel/oil but this would have not been the case had I been going slightly slower, I was given another chance going around this same round about after making sure myself and the motorbike were ok, because of this second attempt I passed my CBT! Many thanks to Cameron’s Motorcycles and their great and friendly team!

Fantastic experience: I completed my third, and hopefully last, CBT with Rob. Fantastic. Despite being old and have been on bikes for years he brought new insights and information. He tailored it to our needs and answered all questions confidently with useful examples. His detailed discussion on safety equipment was especially useful and was the subject of a live demonstration by my fellow student on the B9140. The day is excellent value for money, full of useful insights, interesting roads, and a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Cameron Motorcycles more highly. I did my CBT training with them and it was fantastic. To be honest I was a bit apprehensive having not ridden for many years, but the instructor, Rob was great with non critical guidance and instruction. It was a long day but I had a great time and I'm now confident to get back out on my bike. Thanks guys for your great service and instruction and for giving me the confidence to ride again.

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT with Cameron Bike Training today, they were excellent from start to finish. My instructor was Rob, he was very professional and friendly. He got to know all 3 of us and what our capabilities where and he tailored the course around each of us. I had never been on a manual bike before and writhing minutes, Robs teachings had given me the confidence to cruise through the gears. My only gripe is the website I booked it through. I booked through a website called RideTo (absolutely nothing to do with Camerons Bike Training), and they told me all I need was a helmet and a good jacket (also declares that it doesn’t have to be a motorcycle jacket). Due to Camerons high standards, they require you to wear motorcycle graded safety clothing, luckily they have a shop onsite - if you decide to go with them for a cbt of a big bike test, phone them direct and they will guide you. So overall: high standard of professionalism, fun, high standards of training. Can’t wait to come back soon for my big bike licence!

Fantastic experience: Decided to get my CBT here and I couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience with the staff, I went in being very nervous and worried that I’d do badly but the staff were so kind and friendly to me and gave good feedback if I needed to improve on parts or what I needed to do. I got my CBT and I plan on coming back for my license, cannot recommend Cameron’s enough.

Fantastic experience: Unbelievably good service from everyone in store. Have had my bike serviced in the workshop and was welcomed with a coffee when I came to collect. Callum and the gang are just ace!

Negative experience: Training is superb, with friendly and approachable staff. However, do not take your bike here for repair. Having authorised £250 I've been met with a bill of over £600! Be careful.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful CBT session at Cameron Motorcycles. The instructor we had, Rob, was very attentive and made sure I was able to understand all the detail and practicalities. Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT today with Cameron Bike Training and what a fantastic experience it was. From the first phone call, to the end of the training, everything was handled brilliantly. The team are excellent and have a fantastic range of knowledge and experience that really put me at ease throughout. My trainer Rob really took the time to genuinely understand what motivated me to want to ride a bike and the training, to a certain extent, was tailored and delivered professionally and friendly, at a pace that allowed me to develop both my confidence and knowledge, So much so, the final on road riding section (and the banter!), was really enjoyable. I would fully recommend Cameron Bike Training, to anyone considering getting on a bike. They advised me with everything, with no pressure, and made the whole experience better than I could have expected. Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT today. I can honestly say the I felt supported right from inquiring about lessons, to today. After being kitted out from the well stocked shop there, I was ready. Being in my mid 50’s, I was nervous, but I felt at ease straight away. Rob my instructor, was amazing. Very informative, encouraging and felt safe in his care. So happy now that I’m now ready for the full license. In the hands again of Cameron motorcycles. Wanting anything motorbike related. I went in for my initial CBT an absolute nervous wreck so didn't complete it but went back for a few lessons, I sat the CBT again with so much confidence. Fantastic experience: I done my CBT here last week, it’s the 3rd time I’ve done my CBT over the years. I had a guy named Rob take me through it and he was excellent. He really took the time to make sure things were understood. He was very knowledgeable. All round great experience. Update: I had 2 weeks spare from the 2nd of feb to the 16th. Callum managed to squeeze me into his diary. After a few hours of training I went in and passed my module 1. The following week we done module 2 training. On the Thursday I passed my module 2. The guy has a very relaxed training style, bags of knowledge and really easy to get on with. All in all, a great experience.

Genuine concern for rider safety delivered throughout the course led to an elevated appreciation of how to navigate the roads safely as a driver and upcoming rider. Rob, Robert (Rab), exceptional trainer provided attentative feedback throughout to really drive learning and competence. In such a short time I was on the road in high intensity situations and navigating with ease thanks to Robs calm instruction and guidance. Establishment is next to none in quality, the density of aspects catered by Cameron Motorcycles - training, equiptment store, bike repairs is hard to find in such a small footprint. The only thing amiss in store is blaring rock music from a decked out sound system - I did however attend on a Sunday.

Many thanks to a great tutor Rob for getting me through this as I hadn't been on a bike before and by the end of the day I felt confident in riding. Now onwards and upwards. Fantastic experience: after sitting my first ever CBT with Cameron motorcycle 12 years ago at their old location and having a great experience with Rosie guiding me through with no problems at all, I’m finally getting ready to go onto direct access and get out on the road on something larger than a 50cc moped. I booked in and just done my CBT with Cameron’s again on the weekend just past, Like last time another exceptionally pleasant experience with Robb as my CBT instructor for the day. everything was explained to perfection and after not riding in quite some time I felt great and confident on a bike within no time at all, I’d just like to say a huge thanks to all the team down at Cameron motorcycles in Alva, especially Robb, top notch instructor would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get on the road on 2 wheels to check this place out!

Fantastic experience: Done my CBT here and it was an overall great day and positive experience. Everyone there was great, even helped me pick out a good jacket. Rob was great taking us through the bike riding section and was very encouraging, happy to say I got my CBT completed and I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Great place to learn how to ride a motorbike! Sat my CBT test today with Rob who was a pleasure to work with and has lots of experience with biking and everything that comes with it. There is also a fully stocked shop full of friendly staff and great equipment.
