Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT at the weekend with Stuart as my trainer. Great day which was delivered really well, providing me with plenty of reassurance and confidence throughout. Fantastic experience: I passed my CBT today following my training with Stuart. A very enjoyable experience, particularly once you get out on the open roads. Stuart is patient with new riders and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to pass on to you so he is able to build your confidence up fairly quickly. I would highly recommend the Loughborough School of Motorcycling.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely recommend this school! I recently completed my CBT with Stuart, and the experience was fantastic. Stuart’s knowledge and teaching style were top-notch. The "classroom segments" felt more like engaging conversations rather than lectures, which made learning much easier and enjoyable. As someone who had never ridden before, I really appreciated how Stuart put me at ease, provided constructive feedback, and guided me throughout the process with clear, effective instruction. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have just this weekend passed our CBT with Stuart and we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially out on the open roads. Stuart was very patient with us and gave us loads of great information from his vast experience, and also encouragement giving us the confidence that we could do it! We will fully take on board all his good advice and instruction and hopefully be back in the future for our full licence. Fantastic experience: Steve and the team provide a first rate service from CBT through to getting your full license. Slots to suit your availability and can kit you out with the protective equipment needed. Clearly have many years of teaching experience and adapt their style to suit the needs of the student. Thoroughly enjoyed my sessions (except maybe the u-turns, but I doubt I'm the only one!!) and so glad I made the call. Getting my bike license was the best decision. Stuart was extremely patient and encouraging and ultimately got me my CBT after one session having never ridden a bike before. Fantastic experience: I went into my cbt quite nervous and with little experience but soon felt at ease and confident with riding a moped My instructor Stuart was amazing with corrections but also giving us courage and helping us have a good time while exploring a new mode of transportation 100% recommend Stuart and the Loughborough school of motorcycling

Fantastic experience: I started my biking journey yesterday with LSM and had an awesome instructor, I've totally forgotten their name because I'm useless but they were extremely welcoming and professional and patient, I had never ridden a bike and as per their word they had me riding in 10 minutes! Can't recommend the school enough and will be going back for me Mod 1 and Mod 2! 10/10

Fantastic experience: I'll keep it short. Nervous, panicky, worried, sick. That's how I felt for about 20 minutes. Stu is encouraging, hard but fair and most importantly patient. Passed my CBT after one lesson and not riding for more than 32 years, felt proud and accomplished thanks to his tuition. My son also used LSM and passed 1st time after one lesson. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Cheers Stu

Fantastic experience: Stuart was a great instructor. I have never ridden a motorbike but he explained everything really clearly and within the hour I was able to slalom, ride in a figure of 8, stop and start confidently and change through the lower gears. Stuart was really encouraging and made me feel confident. Next stop CBT!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I have had a great time at the Loughborough School of Motorcycling. We started off with the taster session before we booked the CBT, and with Stuart’s excellent tutoring, I was confident to progress. My daughter needed a little more support and an extra session, which Stuart arranged. We are proud to both now have our CBT certificates. Loughborough is lucky to have such a great facility. Stuart is an excellent tutor, and his enthusiasm and passion to make you a good motorcyclist really helps. I was apprehensive before I started (this was all my daughter’s idea) but I enjoyed every minute. I look forward to progressing further with the Loughborough School of Motorcycling after practicing on my 125. I might need something more powerful if I get tempted by one of the tours they do!

Fantastic experience: With a basic lesson and CBT complete, I can confidently say that Loughborough School of Motorcycling is THE place to learn to ride a motorcycle. While at the school I met Steve and Stuart, they are both very nice, professional and personable people. Stuart was my instructor for the day. He was extremely knowledgeable, flexible in his approach to training, and patient. As I had 0 riding experience this was ideal. Most importantly the training was safe and fun. I had a great time and can't wait to progress my training.

Fantastic experience: Did CBT last week, very pleasant experience. Staff are friendly & banterous, ensuring you get both everything you need to succeed, and enjoy the process. Special shout-out to Stuart's instruction, top man. Prices are good, scheduling also; accomodating facilities, all necessary equipment provided as part of the class; wide choice of vehicles; full training experience available, from utter novice to Class A passed; and happy to adjust the program to suit individual skill levels. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to ride, so long as you're willing to learn and bring your sense of humor.

Fantastic experience: CBT done today after a 2 hour lesson last week with Stuart. Being very nervous I was worried about all of it, I shouldn’t have been. Stuart was very professional but down to earth, he didn’t make me feel stupid and he was incredibly supportive. On to Mod 1 and 2 - thank you. A great bunch of people I can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: Great experience ! I went down for a 1 hour lesson and my CBT, I was greeted by my instructor Stuart who was a top bloke. Although learning how to ride a bike needs to be taken seriously and done properly (which they did to a very high standard) this never stopped us from having so much fun.

Fantastic experience: My son spent the day with Stuart one off the instructors there and I have to say I was amazed by how patient and understanding he had been with him as my son is autistic so finds it hard to understand simple tasks but he left feeling confident and more aware off safety precautions needed when riding on public roads so I couldn't recommend Stuart enough if your wanting to book cbt for your child

Fantastic experience: Today I passed my CBT thanks to Loughborough School of Motorcycling. Despite a shaky start, Stuart encouraged me, in a firm but fair manner, that gave me the confidence I was lacking at the start of the day. I cannot recommend highly enough and I will be hopefully returning at a later date to take my full test.

Fantastic experience: 4th time doing my CBT but by far the most enjoyment iv had doing a re test to renew. Previous tests was done with another center which had shut down. But was much happier with the service and training at Loughborough school of motoring. Happy to be back on the Road after months being off road.

Fantastic experience: I had not been on a bike for over 30 years and decided, spurred on by my daughter, to take my CBT with her at the same time, Stuart was our instructor for the day; I can only describe him as brilliant! He based the whole course around our needs, we weren't rushed; he was always supportive and encouraging. Stewart gave us lots of sound advice on steering, navigating corners and tricky roads. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience - including some great stories along the way - which he delivers in the most engaging and enthralling way. I came away from the course confident on a bike yet more astute of other road users with an understanding of the extreme caution safe motorcycling needs. Thank you Stuart, you made getting my CBT an enjoyable and rewarding day.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT today with Stuart what can I say about this school and the instructor well loads 1st you will get great teaching they will go over everything till you get it Stuart was really patient with me even when I was really close to packing it in and thinking I would fail I asked to take 5 mins to myself which he said yeah I walked away cooled off and then went back to carry was still not nailing it when to the classroom did some talking then back on the bikes then it was all sinking in and was able to get to grips with what I was told on the open road we did everything and it all sunk in was great to get out on the road was a great cracking day but it takes it out of you so be warned you may feel drained by the end of it And Stuart THANKS A BUNCH MATE I was able to pull it off

Fantastic experience: I did a rider refresher course with Stuart, having not ridden a motorbike for over 15 years. He planned the session so that I would gain maximum benefit from it and he was endlessly patient, good humoured and encouraging despite having to repeat himself a lot as I repetitively made the same mistakes until I found my mojo. I had a great time and would highly recommend Stuart if you have had a break from riding and want to brush up your skills.

Fantastic experience: Stuart made the CBT syllabus fun and engaging whilst cutting no corners. Valuable advice from real world experience and helpful explanations of fundamentals to make you a safer rider after your CBT.

Negative experience: My review will have 2 parts to it as I have done both a taster lesson and my cbt here. I completed the taster lesson with Chrissy , she was extremely helpful, professional and encouraging. Excellent value for money lesson would recommend HER, give her 5 stars. My only positive about Stuart is that he knows all the information there is to know, he asked all my questions with detail and direction to further helpful resources. However, I did my CBT with Stuart and encountered many issues relating to proffessionalism, or rather lack thereof. During the classroom element he was frequently distracted by his phone loudly pinging, in turn distracting me. He even took a phone call from an unknown number during our time. During training my bike was running on fumes it was that low on fuel, I had to keep turning it off to save fuel Stuart was well aware of this, I even had to take the bike out on the road whilst it was that low on fuel, only for a short distance but still. When out on the road Stuart did not give clear enough instructions so when I did something wrong he got frustrated and short. There were several incidents like this. Stuart swore at me several times over the intercom system whilst riding. This was extremely unproffessional and damaging to my confidence. He did not swear at the other learner, I felt targeted by this. I am a very new driver but there were a few incidents where, although it was my right of way the vehicle travelling towards me seemed to be going too fast to slow down thus I slowed down waiting for them to pass. One time I stopped when entering a junction as a car was coming towards me and whilst it was indicating to turn off, it seemed to me to be travelling too fast to turn thus I stopped. Stuart was so close to my rear end the whole way that when I stopped he almost crashed into me. He admitted this but blamed me. In my opinion he was far too close to me almost the whole time that it was unsafe at times. The intercom system kept cutting out whilst riding as we were all too far apart, this was alarming at times as I could not hear instructions. When we got back this issue was raised to Stuart and he was aware it could happen, he did not warn us or the other rider would have stayed closer (the rider apologized to me and said he would have stayed closer had he known he was causing the issue).

Fantastic experience: Absolute legendary instructor, Stu.I was ready to give up as never been on a scooter but his encouragement and explanation was second to none. Just listen to what he says at all times! He is honest and will give constructive criticism. My advice is NEVER see what he says as personal. He has your safety at heart so be prepared to pull over when asked and listen to what he says. Thanks Stu you legend !

Fantastic experience: CBT training: Having jumped back on a motorbike after 40 years this training was an absolute must as in my day, you could jump on a 250cc and off you went. Now I can see why it was introduced as its a wonder I am still here to write this...lol. Stuart was my trainer for the day and he immediately makes you feel at ease and relaxed, a straight talking biker. Summing up this experience, money well spent.

Fantastic experience: Over a couple of months Steve, Stuart and Martin took me from never having ridden a bike to passing MOD 2. All the teaching was clear, logical and enjoyable. Very knowledgeable instructors who clearly love what they do and go above and beyond to make sure you understand what to do and why you're doing it. Pricing is clear and fair.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! I had never ridden a motorcycle in my life! I completed my CBT with Stewart and got through my MOD1 and MOD2 tests with Steve. These guys are friendly and patient. They have a fantastic training ground laid out the same as the DVSA grounds are for MOD1 training. I now have my full A motorcycle licence and am looking forward to getting out on the roads on my bike. Thank you Stewart and Steve for your patience, guidance, witty banter and encouragement.
