The training sessions were incredibly valuable as I got to get used to the bikes and the general area for the tests. They provided feedback on my weaknesses while riding and only sought to encourage me to do the best I could on my tests. Overall amazing experience, not that I told them but I was on 3 hours sleep and they made me feel like I could have done it on none with their excellent coaching. Tom helped me so much with becoming more confident on the road and has helped a lot with reducing my anxiety. He explains everything really well in depth and is a very friendly guy. Got my CBT second try! I also had Duncan on the first CBT attempt who was also extremely helpful and kind which I appreciated so much from both instructors as I was very nervous, I had never driven on the road before. They really take their time with you especially if you are struggling as an individual, and they take care in making sure you’re a safe, sensible rider when out on the roads. Negative experience: It was really bad experience. A old instructor failed me second time even i didn't break any major rule He said your position on road was wrong it is dangerous. They run business to make money. Try another centre and avoid sl cbt if you don't want to repend.

Fantastic experience: Hi. Im 54 and had never been on a scooter before but it was something i always wanted to do. SL motorcycle training is local to me so it was ideal to book in with them. The training instructors are great, they are patient and respectful and most of all fantastic at helping you to feel relaxed by explaining everything you need to know step by step and at times 1 to 1. As the saying goes ' All that glitters is not gold'. Let me tell you now, SL is is a small training school but they are excellent at what they do. Their website is easy to use, booking a date was easy to. You get booking confirmation email and a reminder sent the day before the date booked. You cannot go wrong with this team. You would be silly to book anywhere else. I passed my CBT today

Fantastic experience: I just had my cbt today and it was a pleasant and nice experience. The instructor/ teacher, Dunkin, was approachable, nice, and showed expertise in his field of teaching. Ive had drove motorcycle for 2 years before, but i did learn new and useful lessons from Dunkin. He was firm and clear at giving instructions and also taught the reasonings or rationales behind it. I felt safe and guided when i applied my skills to the road. I would definitely recommend their services. My experience was a pleasure. Keep up the good work!!

Negative experience: Hello friends i have done cbt twice here they don’t gave me cbt certificate i don’t know why. On 1st time they told me rebook again with £100 pounds i re booked again and again they told me now buy high way code and re booked again again. Not happy with the service.

Negative experience: Hello, I was highly dissatisfied with this place due to the rude and impersonal behavior of the teacher. I was removed from the class for being just 3 minutes late because of traffic, and they neither refunded my money nor offered to reschedule.

Fantastic experience: If you’re thinking of getting your bike license and don’t know where to start. Give this firm a bell. From the office to the instructors, everyone is helpful and takes their time explaining bits you might not understand. The two fellas who do the training Duncan and Dan know what they’re talking about and can help you from the off whether you know a little bit or ain’t got a clue. They’ll show you clean cut ways to get your round bits you might be struggling on or stuff you might not understand. Good firm all round.

Negative experience: Literally believe guys this SL Motorcycle training is totally scam, don’t book with them as they are tried to took the momey £190 , as when I went to my CBT TRAINING I have my shoes but they refused to give training on that shoes and they asked for different shoes, I did request for many time but still they are not and when I asked refund they said we can’t refund and I asked for them to give atleast half of my money but still they didn’t. We earn with hard work but they took money and not refunding the money. Just they are looking for how to took money from candidates. Don’t waste your money here.

Fantastic experience: From the first phone call to the day I achieved my full Motorcycle licence - the team has been wonderful. Before I booked my Theory and CBT I bombarded Dannielle with question after question to which she replied very knowledgably and reconfirmed via an email. Eventually I bit the bullet and I booked my theory CBT and the MOD 1. Danielle was not pushy or tried to upsell or anything untoward she gave me options and solutions- a real credit to the company. I then met Sarah- a lively joyful woman full of laughter and positive vibes. A very reassuring calm and professional instructor whilst working and like an “old friend” when on a break. The instruction was clear and logical. Sarah booked the test centre for the MOD 1 a few days prior to the test and she took her time giving one to one guidance instruction and passing her 20 plus years of instructing experience. I then passed my MOD 1 to them receive a text message congratulating me. To which through the company I promptly booked my MOD 2. Sarah then the day before the test took me through the test routes- again professional calm reassuring and patient. Because of the nature of my work, I wasn’t sure if I would make the lesson on time- but Sarah’s flexibility was accommodating for me. I then passed my MOD 2. Sarah and her team are an absolute credit to the industry. Thank you Jas

Fantastic experience: I Was very nervous the first time i done my CBT and didn't pass but i booked a take 2 so when i done it again the trainers made me feel more relaxed which really helped and i passed. they are very good at what they do and would recommend them to anyone who wants to do a CBT

Fantastic experience: First time getting a CBT and I'm really glad I chose the right school! Firstly, both the instructors were highly experienced and were able to communicate each section of the training effectively and clearly. Secondly, the course itself is designed categorically to help first time riders (on UK roads, such as myself) get step by step familiarity of riding safely. They take you through the basics of the vehicle and the rules and then proceed to a number of exercises designed to make you road ready. The final exercise of actually driving on the roads with traffic felt relatively easy due to the exercises and the instructors' guidance. Special shoutout to Dan! He was simply amazing, he has a calming voice and builds your confidence with his words which makes the final task a breeze. Definitely recommended

Negative experience: I started the course for motorcycle licence with the service could not have been worse. The training is minimal and done in a rush so drivers are prepared to fail the test and having to repay them several times. Although, by law, they need to refund the amount not used, they are not willing to do that. Please, be very careful with them as they are a poor choice for the service they should offer. A scam

Fantastic experience: My day started off full of nerves and doubt, but my instructor Duncan soon helped me get over my nerves and put me at ease. The training ground is a bit on the small side but ok for first timers like myself to get used to riding a bike at slow speeds. When out on the road Duncan spoke clearly and kept talking with me and made sure I was safe. I was dreading the turn in the road but Duncan was patient and gave lots of advice and encouragement. Fantastic experience: I went and did my cbt there. First time on a geared manual bike, and they made me feel at ease and helped my understand clutch control, gears etc. Although I didnt pass first time, i went for my second cbt try with them, and this time I passed! Even when I made some minor errors they believed in me and gave confidence to get things right, which I did. Special thanks to Dan. Once I am more experienced I will certainly choose them when I want to complete for the full motorcycle license. Tip for new cbt riders: listen and follow the instructors instructions and don't be upset if you dont pass first time as like me coming in for the second time you feel more confident and sometimes you need more hours of training to get things right. Fantastic experience: What a great honest company this is! I’m 52 and had never been on a motorcycle before and thought the CBT was just a given for anyone that turns up! Thank god I was wrong! My instructor Duncan was very thorough in his approach to everyone’s safety ! We didn’t move on the next stage until he was happy everyone (even the little fat 52 year old) could do what Duncan had showed us! After a couple of hours driving around the car park, it was time to hit the road! After a while riding out and about it was clear one of the riders had no clue of the Highway Code and possibly not even of ever travelled in a taxi! We had to return to base a little early so Duncan could advise this student that a little reading was in order! As it was starting to get late, Duncan said he’d ride with me as he still wanted to tick all the boxes so that this little fat 52 year old, would become a little fat 53 year old! Job done, passed ! My eldest son now wants to do his CBT and having a company that are so focused on doing it right, this is where I’m sending him! FYI, they send you emails of the required PPE for a reason, don’t be a muppet!

Fantastic experience: I've used SL Motorcycle Training for my last 2 CBTs, couldn't be happier with the service i recieved, great clear and precise instructors both times. I've seen a lot of people giving unjust 1 star reviews because they themselves failed to read and understand the terms of protective equipment and/or showing up on time, they state clearly the costs won't be refunded so its your job to make sure you're ready for the day, it's not hard people ‍♂️ Definitely recommend, will be contacting soon to book a DAS so i can move up to a bigger bike and leave the CBT charges behind SL Motorcycle Training, once again thanks for having great instructors on board Speak soon.
