Fantastic experience: Fantastic service from the staff at Jim Allan's yesterday, my wife struggles to find ladies motorbike boots to fit her size 1 feet, within 10 minutes they had pulled out all makes, types and sizes to find a pair which fitted. She's delighted with them and had 4 hours on our bikes afterwards with no issues. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT at this place and it was brilliant, had a good time the instructor was brilliant had a lot of time for me and was very positive throughout and helped me improve anything I need to, definitely recommend they only take 2 people at a time so u get a lot of one and one time throughout the day.

Fantastic experience: We were touring the UK on our Guzzi Norge and had a few issues including an exhaust leak. With limited notice Jim Allan took the bike into their workshop and fixed the exhaust and the other issues and had us back on the road within a couple of hours. I can't speak highly enough of the service we received plus the adjacent shop is well stocked with gear a motorcyclist needs.

Negative experience: Pathetic place, enquired about a quote and your questions are answered with questions. Then your ignored. No wonder motorcyclist's out there tell you to avoid this badly run place when there to mentally challenged to answer simple things. Yet still you have time to answer here but still have not gave a quote for what I asked not for what you think. Why is that so hard to do. Customer wants this done however you can't follow simple instructions. So your answer is spam call constant and text. Then want an apology wish zero stars was an option.

Negative experience: AVOID. Left my California with these people for a few months whilst I was away so that they could service it, MoT it and repaint the underside of both mudguards which had some surface rust on them. Bike returned to me absolutely filthy and with a good deal of surface rust on the chromed areas. The bike had obviously been ridden in the wet but not cleaned or dried and then presumably stored somewhere damp. No apology received. Worse, the front mudguard had been scratched on one side, with some paintwork damage on the other side where it looks as if the mudguard has been scraped on something. They said that when they removed the mudguard some paint ‘had come off in their hands’. Strange – I have washed and polished this bike for 25 years and no paint has ever ‘come off in my hands’. Despite admitting that the damage had happened when the bike was in their possession, they refuse to cover the cost of putting it right.

Negative experience: The two stars is for the lovely young sales assistant who was very helpful in helping me pick gloves. However, the older sales assistant was patronizing, unhelpful and quite frankly surprised sexist, I was browsing the bikes as I am looking to buy a bigger bike, he clearly was not taking me serious as a female wanting a new bike, well it is there loss as I will not be going back, he could take a lesson or two from the young lad who works there in manners and respect.

Fantastic experience: Had a bald rear tyre when in Stirling yesterday - rang Jim Allan, couldn’t have been more helpful. Rang just after 9, got there 11.30, bumped forward, new tyres on at 13.00 - very friendly and helpful. Not expensive either.
