Fantastic experience: I was worried about booking my CBT but I was made to feel calm from the very start. My instructor Shami was comforting and calming and very understanding as I suffer with anxiety. He put my mind at ease through out it all. Shami is also extremely professional and is the guy you want when training you. He makes what would seem like quite daunting tasks into something fun and safe. He was also very supportive when I was struggling which I found very amazing about him. I strongly recommend MSM to any of you who want to take the leep in the motorbike world. Ps ask for Shami

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. Chris was an excellent CBT instructor, giving clear guidance and teaching as well as tips and tricks to stay safe out there. Also the whole organisation is very professional while keeping a good sense of humour and friendliness. The bikes were well maintained and beginner friendly, and the hire of gloves, helmet and high-vis is included in the CBT price. Fantastic experience: IAM Roadsmart recommended MSM motorcycles for a CBT and, despite living miles away in Congleton, I'm pleased i took the recommendation. Dave in the office is incredibly helpful, and Chris is a superbly capable instructor. The CBT was a full day, and was very comprehensive, and compared with a CBT i did years ago, far more valuable in terms of road safety, positioning, bike handling, and all around awareness. These guys don't mess around. Their principle concern is your safety, and if you're not up to standard, they won't pass you. If you're looking for an easy day, with an instructor who doesn't give a toss, this probably isn't the place for you.

Fantastic experience: After completing my CBT test today I could not feel more pleased! Shami was top in the morning teaching me the basics of everything I need to know before I jumped on the roads. When it came to going on the roads I was then taken out by Chris who made the whole process comfortable and enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I recently completed my CBT with MSM Training School. Had a fantastic day and learned a lot. My instructor for the day was Shami and had an overall positive experience. I appreciated and really gelled with his style of teaching and years of experience. At the start of the day, I was feeling quite nervous and not very confident but with his expert guidance and fine tuning throughout the day, I left feeling a confident and safe road user.

Fantastic experience: I’m not usually one for reviews, but after finally booking my CBT and completing it yesterday, I couldn’t thank Chris enough. My first time being on a bike in a good while with minimum experience Chris made me feel at home. I’ve gained confidence and a CBT to help build my skills. Fantastic experience: I did my DAS with Mick, awesome guy. I passed my Mod 1 & 2 and buzzing for it. Mick is a top instructor and very knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of working with Chris while completing my CBT, his patience was truly remarkable. From the very start, Chris demonstrated a calm and understanding approach that made the entire training process much more enjoyable and less stressful. Learning to ride a motorbike can be daunting, especially for a beginner, but Chris’ patient demeanor helped ease my nerves. He took the time to explain each aspect of the training thoroughly, ensuring I understood everything before moving on. Chris never rushed me, even when I struggled with certain techniques. Instead, he provided constructive feedback and gentle encouragement, allowing me to progress at my own pace. Honestly I can’t thank him enough! Also he’s a very funny man, had us laughing all day!

Good humour, remembered personal details about me and my group which helped ease any anxiety. Repetitive on safety but never patronising. Couldn’t recommend this course and Shami enough, wouldn’t have expected to feel completely ready to ride independently but I do. Shami is a credit to the team.

Fantastic experience: Passed my full motorcycle licence this week and I couldn't be more happy. I'm so glad that I chose to go to MSM. They came highly recommended to me and didn't disappoint. Dave was really accommodating to my working schedule and was able to plan a series of sessions that would work for my needs. I had little flexibility due to the nature of my teaching job and when I started with MSM I had no prior experience of riding. I completed my CBT with Chris who was calm, friendly, and patient with a very nervous me, whilst I got to grips with the basics. After passing the CBT I enjoyed the occasional ride out of a Sunday, in the Peak District with my partner but became frustrated by my bikes lack of power. I was keen to do my direct access in order to get on a more powerful bike and fully enjoy the riding experience. Although I had some experience by this point I did lack experience and confidence of riding around town and in traffic. Mick was charged with the task of getting me up to standard with my handling of the big bike! As he quickly came to notice the teacher (me) had trouble adapting to being the pupil! I set very high expectations of myself and was struggling with not being able to meet those expectations instantly. Mick was fantastic with me, he too had high expectations but the difference was he was realistic. He was determined to get my riding to standard and make me a safe rider for life but he knew it wouldn't happen instantly and that he had a role to play in it. He got the best out of me by quickly understanding my character, my existing knowledge/skill, using his wealth of experience to anticipate the misconceptions and what I needed to adjust to progress. I'm really proud of myself for passing and quite incredibly I managed to do Mod 1&2 with a clean sheet. I can only put that down to the team at MSM for getting the best out of me and showing me how to get the best out of the bike. MSM gave me the confidence and belief in myself that I could do it. Each time I went there I saw the familiar faces of Dave, Chris and Mick.They were friendly which put me at ease but their professionalism, knowledge and consistency was most reassuring too. They had all helped me along my journey so I knew I was in safe hands each time. It was really nice to ride back with Mick after my test and have Chris and Dave smiling and congratulating me. Fantastic experience: I've had a full license since 1987 ,but not been on a bike for about 30years,I decided to do my cbt as a sort of refresher . As the course progressed I found my confidence coming back ,my instructor was shami, he was excellent ,friendly ,with a bit of banter but firm . I would highly recommend msm if like me your a returning biker or a complete novice.

Fantastic experience: Arrived today to complete my CBT having not rode for over 10 years. I very quickly found out how rusty I was but I had a really good instructor called Shami. The day was mixed lessons regarding highway code, tips and the actual riding training itself. Felt like it went too fast due to the great banter we had with Shami who made it a pleasure.

I was a complete novice and moving to the 650's was a huge jump for me but Mick got me through. Can't recommend enough!
