Fantastic experience: Now, I've never been one to ever leave a review on anything but, Kevin and his team has gone above and beyond for me throughout the entirety of my training. I first did my Cbt with Chris in January 2022, something I had wanted to do for a very long time, the price i thought was very fair and good value for the training I received. Before I knew it I was finally on two wheels. It was the greatest experience I've ever had. Fast forward 6 months and a few hundred miles of thrilling riding, I decided to bite the bullet and get my restricted A2 licence. And with the support and guidance from Kevin and his crew I was able to own and ride my first "big boy bike" . It was great I started going to bike meets, I met loads of people, seen almost all of the South West and met people I now call my best mates. It literally has opened a whole new chapter in my life, one where the memories I make will stay with me forever. And now almost 2 years from when i started my two wheeled journey i am now the proud owner of a Category A motorcycle licence, I can now ride any motorcycle i want and it all thanks to Kevin and his crew. They have been amazing and are some of the best instructors I've ever had and the most honest people I've seen in the industry, where other companies would just take your money and watch you fail, these guys will tell you if your ready and go above and beyond to make sure you are. I really can't thank them enough! Because of them I have become the safest rider I could of ever been and without them I may have never gotten the two wheeled freedom I've so very longed for. The next step for me, i will be attempting my ERS(Enhanced Riding Scheme)and I will be booking it with Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training with Kevin himself in the new year. Fantastic experience: Not the cheapest school, but you get what you pay for and then some! My confidence was a mess after failing my mod 1 three times at another school (eek!), so i decided to take a break then try a different school. Kev took the time to get me back on track and I passed both the mod 1 and mod 2 on my first attempts after switching. Can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: My best mate and I have recently done CBT with Norman then Mod 1 & 2 DAS with Kevin some 36 years after riding 125’s. It was a bucket list thing that we were gonna do when hitting 40 which came and went then 50, etc. Eventually took the CBT steps at 54 so began the journey! Kev in particular has been great in getting us over the line. With a great sense of humour but meticulous approach to his students learning the required roadcraft, it’s been a pleasure in gaining my full licence. Can wholeheartedly recommend SMT to anyone that wishes to gain their motorcycle licence. Julie also great in efficiently arranging the training sessions, tests, etc. Best part is we’ll stay in touch to strum guitars!

Fantastic experience: One of the best experiences of my life from start to finish. So proud of what I’ve achieved. Firstly arranging everything and constant contact of where we are with Julie was fab. She’s lovely to deal with. I done direct access with Kevin across 4 days and it was brilliant. He’s fantastic at what he does and makes you feel at ease. He is serious when he needs to be but also can have a laugh and joke. First time passes on both modules! Will definitely keep in touch with him, he’s a great bloke.

Fantastic experience: Learning to ride a bike is something I have always wanted to do but never had the opportunity until now. It's important to have a good instructor, and that's exactly what I got, Norman was fantastic throughout my CBT. I never felt pressured or rushed, and I felt in safe hands while being taught the fundamentals of bike riding. I was soon on the roads amongst the traffic enjoying the ride. Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough good things about my experience with Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training, the tuition was great and the motorbikes up to a top notch standard. Kev’s tuition was the best I have experienced, as he has a great way of finding a method to get round faults and bad habits. Julie was also incredibly helpful on the phone when I booked with them. Fantastic experience: I did my cbt with Noman and he was absolutely fantastic. He was constantly teaching valuable lessons that could save your life on a motorbike. Explained everything so clearly and detailed. I've been riding for 2 years and he taught me so many valuable lessons and tips that will further improve my riding and help me prevent any accidents. Very intelligent and helpful. Its a absolutely amazing place to have your cbt. Fantastic equipment and bikes. They have updated head sets in the helmets that allow you to communicate with your instructor throughout your training/assessment. And the motorbikes are in very good condition and well looked after. If you want to get your licence and become the best you can at riding, definitely come here. I can't recommend it enough, I'm so happy and thankful to have got my licence from Sedgemoor.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my cbt with our instructor Norm, he was brilliant with very clear instruction aswell as follow up demonstrations throughout! Very professional but also very easy to converse with and giving ample oppertunities for any questions or queries you may have. I could honestly keep singing praises but suffice it to say my experience was exceptional, Relaxed, Knowledgable and professional! I feel like the emphasis on not just just passing the cbt but setting you up with a strong foundation including proper techniques for future mortorcyle progession is invaluable. Fantastic experience: Motorbikes are similar to tattoos: many people talk about them, but few actually get them. Riding a motorbike involves certain risks, so it is essential to have comprehensive and thorough training. Kev provides meticulous and persistent instruction, ensuring not only that you pass your test but also that you ride safely on the road. Additionally, all the equipment he provides is of very good standard and well maintained. I highly recommend his motorbike training services.

Fantastic experience: After a 10 year break from motorcycling I decided to have a refresher course at Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training (SMT) and it was exactly what I needed. The trainer was excellent and had a really good way of understanding what you need from the course and adapted his methods of teaching to suit. The bike was a Yamaha MT700 which is much better than the normal 500cc bikes commonly used by other schools. The helmets they use have crystal clear two way radios so you can have a conversation when riding. I strongly advise anyone who hasn’t ridden in a while to invest in the refresher course. It’s given me a lot more confidence.

Fantastic experience: I have recently booked for another person, who was allocated. Female instructor and given 1-1 training which helped to ensure that the day was structured and delivered to the persons needs. Being able to have a 1-1 which was more expensive but worth the cost to allow person centered learning and understanding. Friendly and helpful team, would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: CBT, MOD 1 (twice-wasn’t fast enough!!) and MOD 2 with the team during the last 6 months. Firstly great administration-thanks Julie. Prompt clear responses to messages and requests for information. Good advice offered plus flexibility shown when offering up cancellations and opportunities. Training wise I was instructed by Kev and Chris. They are both high quality instructors who adapt to the needs of their audience. Great training facility and bikes. Fantastic experience: EXCELLENT. I’ve used everyone here since the beginning of my motorcycle riding and I’m extremely glad I did. Even from the moment you start doing your CBT, they help you learn and consider what you’ll need to do to ride safely and pass your test if you should want to go on to do that. I’d really recommend doing everything they offer, especially the transition to the big bikes if you want to do your test. I think this was key in my passing first time. Felt in extremely safe hands who have a lot of experience, yet they’re a small enough establishment to remain personable. I’d honestly highly recommend. I rarely leave reviews but they absolutely deserve it!

Fantastic experience: Take me couple of months to make decisions to pass my motorbike test just because of my language barrier but finally I'm found Sedgmoor Motorcycle Training where took my CBT and MOD1 and that was outstanding experience! Fantastic experience: Done my CBT training. Instructor was brilliant and new Honda motorcycles had no problems controlling them. It was a bit scary riding motorcycle on the road but I had full support of instructor and felt confident while riding Honda. At the end of the day ive passed my cbt. Now practicing on my 125 fb and can't wait to come back to get my full motorcycle licence.

Fantastic experience: I have been waiting to do this to tell about all of my journey from my cbt to full test. Well to start I did my cbt here and it was a good day. I was with someone else abit less confident but this did not make a difference to my day . I then moved on to my transition where I was on the big bike and I must say them mt 07s are beautiful. I had a good time and pushed me to get my full bike test done.i did it I booked in for my full mod 1 and mod 2. I found everyone there training me to be professional and very helpful. My mod 1 was cancelled but this did not stop them from getting me in somewhere else, where I passed first time . I then got my mod 2 and I was ready but I failed it, my fault just one of them things on the day . They got me back in ASAP and I passed. I am so thankful to you all at sedgemoor motorcycle training.

Fantastic experience: Booked my cbt and mod 1 so far with sedgmoor motorcycle training both Kev and Chris are excellent trainers can't recommend them enough. My mod 1 test got cancelled a few times because of examiners being on strike and weather. Kev and Julie have been exceptional sorting this issue out which was not there fault. I highly recommend anyone looking for motorcycle training to book with them. I look forward to booking my mod 2 training in the next few weeks. Just a quick update passed mod 2 today Kev and Chris are exceptional trainers can't recommend them enough if your looking for motorcycle training this is the place to go. Fantastic experience: Having never touched a bike before but having the urge to ride, I booked in for a CBT and was hooked. Under the expert guidance of Jordan I grew confidence and safely navigated it, and booked in for further training and mod 1 and mod 2 tests, that I'm proud to say I passed first time. It's clear that Chris and Kevin have a vast amount of knowledge and were very perceptive. Crucially they are not shy in pointing out mistakes, that's what you want as if they hadn't they could ultimately be life-changing mistakes. Overall very friendly and likeable people, and good facilities. The training bikes are like new and clearly well looked after.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience and couldn’t recommend enough! Did my CBT with Somerset Motorcycle Training and it was a really enjoyable and successful day. They were really attentive, both theoretical and practical training was delivered really well, and they were happy to go at your pace until you were comfortable. Never been on a motorbike/moped before, but by the end I felt more than confident to go out on the road with one. Once again, highly recommend for any newbies wanting to get out on the road on two wheels.

Fantastic experience: Updated. 9 months ago -Kevin the owner ensured that I was able to take my CBT even while 125's were out of action by allowing me to use a larger bike. Well run, and will return! Thx Sept 2023. Kevin has been amazing! The journey from CBT to MOD1 then MOD2 has been exceptionally rewarding! I would recommend him and Chris to anyone thinking about learning to ride! Lots of banter but lots of serious points all to help you ride safely and enjoyably. Also, the bikes used are in top relatively new condition. MT-09's being the bike of choice. Other schools use much older bikes. And some didn't even bother to respond to my enquiries for tuition. Their loss! Poor customer service, whereas Kevin's school is 100%. So if you haven't realised yet that this is the best place to learn, then I'm not sure what more can be said. Thanks Kev, Julie, Chris!

Fantastic experience: This is my second CBT but my 1st with sedgemoor motorcycle training. It was a great experience from start to finish and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Updated review I have now completed both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 with Sedgemoor motorcycle training. The instructors are absolutely brilliant, very patient and professional. They made me feel very comfortable and helped build my confidence up on the road. I really enjoyed my time with them and would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Had done my CBT a few years ago with SMT and they were my first stop when I decided I wanted to go for the direct access after deciding I wanted a new set of wheels. a couple of weeks ago with Jordan the CBT was as smooth as you like with Jordan really helping you feel comfortable being yourself. Had my transition lesson the week after with Chris and straight through to a pass on my mod 1. Chris really helped me to understand exactly what you go through when it’s time for your actual test and riding into the centre and instantly recognising everything helped calm a lot of nerves. Touch wood for my mod 2 next week I’m looking forward to getting back on that MT-07!! What a bike to learn on!

Fantastic experience: Done my cbt with smt a few years ago and decided to come back after it expired and so glad I did! I had such a good experience booking the test and with the instructor on the day, a very welcoming and friendly place! I'll definitely be back to do the rest of my training here for my A2 licence once I get my theory test! I highly recommend smt for anyone looking to take their cbt or any further training!

Fantastic experience: I booked with Sedgemoor based on their 5 star reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I am 44 and it was my first time on a bike so I wanted somewhere I felt comfortable. From the initial email contact I was put at ease. My instructor on the day was fantastic. She was patient and promoted confidence, by the afternoon we were riding around Bridgwater and I loved it. I've now bought my 125cc Moped and once I gain some experience I will be booking again for lessons on a manual bike and go on to do my test. Can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Training Took my MOD 1 and MOD 2 with them, intensive training for both. Chris and Kevin are so friendly, but at the same time great instructors. For someone with nerves like me, constantly reassuring me helped settle the nerves. Great MOD 1 circuit at Bridgwater and all the MOD 2 training in and around Taunton, where you take your test. It is a little bit more expensive than some of the local rivals, but you get value for money, hence both first time passes. Can't thank them enough. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: The Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training team are absolutely bloody fantastic! I passed with flying colours and received top training that I will remember for life. I know some of you will be anxious, endlessly scrolling these reviews pondering about getting your licence. I was the same. If you are one of these people, honestly, JUST GET IT BOOKED. I can’t quite believe how far I’ve come with biking and how confident I am now. Kev and Chris went above and beyond for me and I can’t thank them both enough. I didn’t deal with Jordon (predominantly does CBT) but he always said hello and always waved or gave me a nod. They have to be one of the nicest bunch and I’m proud to have passed with SMT! Over the moon, cheers guys.

Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT with Jordan as my instructor, really considerate of focusing help where it was most needed. Really supportive the whole way through and provided me with great general advice on getting my first bike and gear. Come next near I’ll definitely be back for my MOD1 and 2, would recommend to anyone else. The 125 bikes are perfect for beginners, great comms systems so having calm advice the whole way through was really useful. Bridgewater is a good location generally, they have some great introductory roads like a rural 30 limit which was great to do as a stepping stone before going on national speed limits.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant. Coming from zero experience on a motorbike I did my CBT at the start of September followed by Mod1 last week and Mod2 today. Sailed through all of them thanks to the team. Had the pleasure of working with all 3 instructors who were fantastic and always gave constructive feedback to help improve where it was needed. I never felt rushed or overwhelmed with what I was learning. Not the cheapest around but it's definitely a case of you get what you pay for, and I can say without a doubt it was worth it. Can't wait to get to the shops to look for a bike now!

Fantastic experience: When I decided I wanted to give this a go I chose these guys because they were local to me but most importantly when I rang to enquire, I was greeted by Julie, she was friendly and answered all my questions and I decided to book on the spot! My CBT day with Jordan was fantastic, I went in nervous but was made to feel at ease instantly. I thoroughly enjoyed the day, felt safe and came out of it with my ability to ride a moped which quite frankly made my year! They provide the helmet, gloves, jacket and bike so even with no experience or gear, they have everything you need. I left buzzing to get on the road and bought my first moped immediately. My instructor Jordan was not only great at instilling the fundamental skills required for riding, but also made me feel calm, confident and fully supported on the road. Great teacher, great training centre.

My instructor, Jordan, was understanding, patient and helped me develop an understanding of what to do and how to apply his teachings to riding. Fantastic experience: Recommended by a friend and wasn't disappointed. Moving to a full license after being on an A2 for 9 years. Kev got me through the Mod 1 with some brilliant advice and help and after a morning of riding with Cris I passed Mod 2. Kev and Cris both friendly and knowledgeable bike people, make you feel at ease and comfortable on the bike and in general.
