Fantastic experience: Roy is the best instructor, I truly couldn’t recommend him more!!! He helped me go from zero to passing my test on the first attempt. That wouldn’t have happened without his support. I was incredibly lucky to have him as my instructor. I’m not a local here in Banbury, I was based in London and relocated to Banbury for a work project in Chipping Warden. I searched almost all instructors on Google in the Banbury area and contacted them. It turned out to be very difficult to find someone who would like to offer manual driving lessons for beginners. Roy was very approachable and responsive. After I explained my situation, he kindly agreed to take me on, even though he was very busy. He is patient, responsible, and reliable. I'm usually a confident and positive person, but I really appreciated how he was sometimes strict with me, it helped me remember my mistakes and improve. And when I lacked confidence, he would encourage me and say, “I think you can make it! I wouldn’t let you try if I think you are not ready”. Most importantly, Roy doesn’t just teach you how to pass the TEST, he teaches you how to DRIVE, drive smoothly and safely! He took me on complex routes which might not be part of the test, to make sure I could handle real-world driving, not just the exam. I really appreciate! That’s also what made the actual test feel much easier and smoother. Passing the test is just the beginning of being a qualified driver. What I learned from Roy will continue benefit me in my future driving! Thank you again, Roy, for everything you’ve taught me. I’ve already recommended you to several of my colleagues

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Roy enough! I’ve been driving for years, but when it came time to pass my driving test, I knew I needed some help. I called around to all the instructors in Banbury, and Roy was the only one who took the time to help me unlearn the bad habits I’d picked up. Fantastic experience: Roy is very calm and patient and most importantly very punctual with the lesson. I had a couple lessons with Roy and I am very impressed with this tips and tricks while driving. I learned a lot of new skills. Sadly, I needed to stop the lessons as I am far away from Banbury. Fantastic experience: Roy is a super, easy-going guy who is also an excellent instructor and I highly recommend him. I was in the awful situation of having to take my drivers test at 53 years old because I couldn't swap my license to a UK one! Roy came to my rescue, not only was he willing to go out of his area for me but within a handful of lessons I passed my test with only two minor mistakes. I was amazed at how well Roy knew Banbury and everywhere I went with my examiner I had been before with Roy. I was confident with him because he really knows his driving rules inside out and also he instilled a lot of confidence in me which I believe is the reason I passed first time. Thank you Roy, you're an angel

Fantastic experience: After a tough start with another instructor after just one lesson with Roy made me feel more confident in my driving and honestly taught me so much in a lesson! Even after the lesson he went on to send me links to websight so I could read up further on my driving. I wish I had had him as my instructor from the start, I can not fault him! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was really grateful to Roy for his flexibility and willingness to compensate for my indecision about when I needed lessons. I felt confident that he understood the requirements, both by way of techniques and local knowledge, of what was needed to pass the test in Banbury. All roads taken in my test had been covered in lesson time with Roy and so I felt confident and calm on the test. He was responsive to my progress so I felt that my limited time was being constructively used. He built on the practise I built outside of lessons in an uncritical and positive way. Roy has helped all our young employees through their driving lessons and they have all passed first time (including Danny yesterday that makes 6).
