Fantastic experience: I have been learning with Octavian for a while now, when I started with him I had severe driving anxiety due to my Autism and found previous instructors didn’t show any understanding. Octavian was lovely he went at the speed I needed to go at and even though it took me a while to be comfortable behind the wheel he was patient and never gave up on me. I would recommend Octavian for any nervous drivers out there who just cannot handle test day nerves.

Negative experience: Avoid this person at all costs. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful — instead of working through a solution like an adult, he resorted to swearing and abusive language over the phone. Save yourself the headache and do not waste your time dealing with him.

He never made me feel bad about the mistakes I made but rather encouraged me to take it as a positive learning experience – ‘I’d rather you do these mistakes with me here and learn from it than do it when you’re driving alone.’ I enjoyed all our lessons and looked forward to it every week – he’s an excellent teacher and has helped me improve my driving skills greatly! Fantastic experience: Octavian is an incredibly patient, compassionate and knowledgeable driving instructor. From the first lesson to the last, I never felt uncomfortable or embarrassed to ask questions and I could feel my driving skills improving with every lesson, but even when I would make mistakes Octavian was very calm and would explain how to fix these mistakes. I passed first time and I’m so thankful to Octavian for helping me achieve this goal. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn how to drive and will always remember his lessons whenever I’m behind the wheel!

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Octavian enough for making me pass my driving test .I passed in my second attempt . His dedication and patience is second to none. I was quite nervous when I started with him , and he could see that. His techniques are quite different to other instructors. He’s very polite and punctual. Even when mistakes happens , he’s calm and reassuring. That’s what I needed in an instructor. I will totally recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Octavian’s driving school anymore. He is so patient, knowledgeable and offers words of encouragement throughout the lessons. Octavian goes above and beyond when it comes to teaching someone to learn to drive and making them feel comfortable behind the wheel. If i was ever stressed or anxious when driving, Octavian would pick up on this straight away and help to ease my nerves. With Octavian’s driving school, I was able to pass first time. Fantastic experience: I would not hesitate to recommend Octavian. I’m in my mid-thirties and was really nervous about driving so just kept putting it off. I did a Google search for driving instructors in the Ashford area and feel like I struck gold by finding Octavian. From my very first lesson, he made me feel at ease: - Nothing is a stupid question. - Mistakes are great because we learn from them. - Remember to breathe because learning to drive is stressful and we totally forget to breathe and don’t even realise it! He is an amazing driving instructor, always making sure you aren’t beating yourself up and always giving you the most up-to-date and informed information - he regularly speaks to other instructors to discuss road rules, so ensures you are learning and driving as safely as possible. He’s honest and will tell you whether or not he thinks you are ready for your test. I passed my driving test first time with one minor (he told me I would pass!). I feel quite sad that our lessons have come to an end and am incredibly grateful to Octavian for being so supportive. Thank you for teaching me to drive and helping me to enjoy driving!
