Fantastic experience: Loved learning to drive with Ellen - she was as friendly and patient as you could ask for in a driving instructor, and made sure to really take the time to make sure you understood any explanations she gave about anything. I never thought I'd pass my test first time, I was so nervous about driving but Ellen put my mind at rest straight away, Ellen gave me the confidence I needed to get behind the wheel and was so understanding and cheerful every lesson, really makes a difference. I know other people who speak very highly of Alison's lessons as well; both are truly lovely wonderful people.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved learning to drive with Ellen at Crown School of Motoring! I was so nervous about learning to drive after I’d tried to learn when I was younger and just hadn’t got on with it, but Ellen put me at ease straight away and was always very patient with me if and when I needed to go over any information or ask any questions. I went from a complete novice to a safe and confident driver thanks to Ellen’s teaching. Ellen was always very calm and really helped me to believe in my driving ability, and I always enjoyed our lessons and chats. Truly, I feel privileged to have been able to learn with such a brilliant instructor, and I know people say the exact same of Allison. The best instructors around, I absolutely cannot recommend them enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend them enough! I went to Crown to restart my learning after failing 3 times over 10 years ago. Alison was so kind, patient but firm as well and such a fantastic laugh. She took me from an incredibly anxious driver to a confident and safe one in only a couple of months, and I passed first time with only 4 minors. It's a testament to Alison's teaching. She explained everything about the car and how it works, so knowledgeable about every aspect of driving and also a lovely and hilarious person to spend 2 hours a week with! She was always so calm and sure that it really helped calm my own anxieties. I can't thank them enough for helping me get on the roads. Definitely the best around!

Fantastic experience: Although I had already passed my driving test and had been driving for a few years, I was due to attempt my taxi driving test so I booked a 'lesson' with Crown School of Motoring just to iron out any bad habits I'd picked up over the years! I had Alison for a 2 hour refresher, she was great, gave me lots of advice and tips and I would recommend both her and Ellen to anybody wanting to learn to drive. Also, I did pass my taxi test first time! Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: The instructor was amazing! Allison was so patient and kind. Understanding of Beth’s needs. We had 2 instructors previously and my daughter was at the point of giving up driving. Allison reassured us and we had one last attempt and thank goodness we did. Beth passed first time with Allison. I can’t thank you enough.

Negative experience: My daughter had been on their waiting list for about 9 months then to be told they cannot fit her in so beware if your on the waiting list

Fantastic experience: After trying another instructor first we decided to move to Ellen and the change in our daughters driving was huge she actually wanted to go out driving and Ellen worked her magic having a first time pass and one very pleased daughter! We even had to buy a new car the same day as the pass Thanks Ellen and Alison!!

Negative experience: Gave us a date then didnt turn up for the lesson. They said that they had given the date but thought it was the next day? Then rebooked for the following week, didnt turn up saying we hadnt paid in advance, despite saying we could pay on the day. Totally unreliable, wouldnt hand any money over to them in advance. Untrustworthy

Fantastic experience: Passed first time with Crown School of Motoring; would highly recommend. I'm naturally a very anxious person but Alison put me right at ease and has been a fab instructor. Will miss our chats! Thank you so much for putting up with me!
