1st 4 Driving Southampton

Fantastic experience: donna is great, she made me feel so comfortable and made me feel confident in my driving abilities, i would 1000% recommend her to everyone, as i passed my test first time today! Thankyou donna!

Negative experience: Highly unprofessional experience today. I have arranged my whole week so that I can be available for lesson only to have the allocated driving instructor claim he “couldn’t find my house”. I found out what was happening 45 mins after the original lesson starting time after I called the central number.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism. I was with Donna who at first was very friendly. However, out of the 5 lessons I had, 3 were cancelled on me at last minute. Then when I had to cancel a lesson due to being in hospital I was charged. Donna told me this would be resolved and agreed to refund this/take it out my block due to the circumstances. However when speaking to the office they said she denied this, and I received an aggressive text from Donna lying about what she had said to me. My next driving lesson, she didn't turn up and said she had tried to contact me (which she hadn't) and I was going to be charged for the lesson. Donna spent many lessons speaking badly on other pupils and I would not recommend her as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I used Hardip in Southampton for my automatic licence, I couldn't recommend him more! He has a great style of teaching and caters for your needs helping you with what you think you need to work on whilst constructively advising on areas he thinks you need to work on. Makes you feel very at ease and easy to get on with. He really made sure I was ready for all situations using a wide variety of different roads and any given situation not just test routes. I passed first time with next to no miners. Great Guy all round and worth using

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test in the 1st attempt with Mr. Tony Hislop. I can not recommend Tony enough for the amount of experience and driving tips he is willing and capable of sharing during the lessons. He is very well familiar with all test routes, test centres, and examiners. The test route I had was actually one that Tony took me through twice or 3 times at least. Thus, I was extremely comfortable on the test day. Tony is so honest he would tell you whether or not you're ready for the test even if the number of lessons is comparatively small. He will make sure a number of times you've got all your show me- tell me questions covered. He'll actually give you even more tips that only driving experience for a long period of time would give you. He's patient, friendly, and is always on time (a few minutes early actually! :-) I think Mr. Hislop is such an asset for 1st 4 driving! Cannot wait to start my Pass Plus with him soon I hope.

Fantastic experience: Hi its AFIA. I have passed my driving test as my instructor was Mr Tony Hislop. He is a very good instructor I have ever seen. He has so much patience. I made mistakes and sometimes very nervous. But he always try to help me and make me feel easier and smooth driving. He always encouraged me .I would highly recommend him as a instructor Tony is the best..Thank you

Fantastic experience: Today I passed my test first time my instructor tony was a very good instructor and was very knowledgable and gave me loads of support to enable me to pass my driving test for the first time I am really happy and I would recommend him to others as an instructor I would like to thank you him so much for the effort he put in with me

Fantastic experience: Great stuff, I passed first time with mike as my instructor and as I suffer bad with anxiety, it was no problem as Mike is such a chilled out down to earth guy and an amazing driving instructor, I would highly recommend the company and mike. Fantastic experience: Passed my test first time with Tony as my instructor. He was the best instructor I could have asked for. He's so patient and kind and I always looked forward to our lessons. I was very nervous about learning to drive but he made the process so easy. I would definitely recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Having been recommended by a friend, I have found Neil to be an excellent driving instructor, and am just about to take my test. Having once been a school teacher, he is both encouraging and honest, and never pushes you to do anything you're not ready for yet. The lessons are well structured, and being 2 hours long I can feel myself building on the progress I make every week. I have since recommended Neil to other friends who have also spoken highly of him.
