Fantastic experience: Started my lessons with Dave soon after the COVID restrictions eased and couldn't have asked for a better instructor! Really patient, flexible, and a massive help in picking up everything I need to know and more, helping me pass my theory and practical first time. Makes you feel confident behind the wheel and caters each lesson to best improve - wholly recommend.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant instructor, patient and great at encouraging confidence behind the wheel, passed several years ago but to this day still always use his lessons when I am out and about, breaks the lessons down to easily learn and also teaches the theory side making everything easier pass. Fantastic experience: I passed with Dave 8 years ago and that’s 8 years no claims. He has the patience of a saint! I had a different instructor previous who was no good. Someone recommended Dave to me and doing my lessons with him was the best thing I ever done! He is so understanding and encouraging no matter how many times it takes you to learn always staying calm. He was just as happy as me when I passed and still speaks to me now if we cross paths. With Dave you’re gaining not only a driving instructor but a friend.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Motorvate driving school! David is a very caring and patient teacher. He helped me prepare for my theroy test and got me straight in for my pratical test as soon as he knew I was confident enough. Although I was over the moon to pass my driving test, I was also very sad that I would no longer be having weekly lessons with David as I enjoyed them so much!

Fantastic experience: A truly excellent driving instructor, I had previously tried to learn to drive with a different instructor a couple of years before and I could really see how Dave is in a different class of driving instructors with his organisation, attention to your own skill level, good knowledge of the road and all round cool dude. Dave does not just teach you how to drive, he teaches you how to DRIVE! P.S. I passed first time.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test FIRST TIME with Dave at Motorvate in 2015. I returned to learning with Dave after I had my baby and had 2 months to pass my test for work. He gives clear instruction and makes you feel confident to be behind the wheel even if you are a new driver or haven’t driven for a while. He is a calm driving instructor that doesn’t shout or make you feel stupid if you make a mistake, and he sets you up to succeed by tailoring your lessons to suit you. If you are nervous about driving or overwhelmed by how many instructors there are to choose from, I would look no further and choose Motorvate. I am confident that you will not be disappointed with this company and you will feel like a confident and competent driver when you have passed and ready to drive solo. I would recommend him to anyone. I even named my first car Davina after him!

Fantastic experience: Fabulous driving intructor! He helps you learn for your theory too!! Passed first time with only 3 minor and i couldnt have done it without David! Hes brill, he makes sure you know what is expected on the test and tried to prepare you as much as possible by doing practice tests! Unlike other driving instructors David doesnt try to prolong your lessons, when he thinks your ready he will tell you and then its up to you wether or not you book the test! Reccommend! Always tell my friends! Thanks again David!

Fantastic experience: I also learnt with David. He tailored each lesson to what I needed focusing on the areas i felt least confident. I tried a couple of different instructors however it was only with David I felt comfortable with my driving and was able to pass both theory and practical first time. David also puts he time in to help you with your theory so you are learning without realising. If you are looking for a Driving instructor who cares and honest then I would use this one. I promise you won’t be disappointed
