Fantastic experience: Having been thinking about becoming a driving instructor for a while, I jumped at the chance for a taster session that was being offered with David. I absolutely loved that session and pretty much made up my mind on the spot that I was going to become a driving instructor. It was by far the best decision I have made in my working life and the training was better than I could have hoped. David was and still is there whenever I need him. Our in car sessions taught me so much and the private practice, although sometimes challenging was very well structured. In fact the structure of the whole course was fantastic, it was clear and you always knew where you were. The video's were a really big help, and useful that I could go back and watch them again if I ever needed to. I cannot praise the support I received enough, I have always felt that I can just pick up the phone anytime I needed anything. The help I got when getting ready for my part 1 test was so much appreciated, I was struggling and David helped explain things in a way that made me understand what was needed better and I passed well. David put in extra time to help me prepare for my part 2 test, my great result was definitely an outcome of that help. I have since now been working towards my part 3 and have obtained my trainee licence. David is still on hand, the support offered is second to none and I could not be more grateful to David for my training. All in all, for anyone thinking of becoming a driving instructor, I would very highly recommend David and Calm driving to them. I have very much enjoyed my training, I am loving working as a driving instructor, and look forward to many years in my new career.

Fantastic experience: Calm driving was recommended to me by a couple of instructors up at the Poole test centre, so I gave them a call to see if they could help me prepare for my pt3 which I failed 1st attempt with a different trainer. David was so helpful and got me booked in very soon after my call. I went to meet him to talk about what I wanted from the training. This was all about me and what I wanted to learn more about. What I need was for it all to be broken down to make sure I understood everything and David was brilliant at doing this. David met my pupil I was planning to take and he agreed she was the right person. ( photo of me and pupil added) I had a bit of a wobble a few days before my pt3 and David put my mind at rest out on the road that day. I went away feeling a lot better. The day of my pt3 David met me up at the test centre to give me support and this was brilliant as it helped me relax a bit more. When I returned from my test David was there ready to come listen to the debrief To make sure I understood everything the examiner said. The training and support I had from calm I recommend 100% and is definitely worth the money Jane

Fantastic experience: I started out from another driving school was not getting the support , knowledge , from them it was only when I went to Dave to be retrained. did I pass the instructor course , Dave coaching skills , understanding of what needs to be done is beyond brilliant , you want reputation , he’s success of producing high standard is legendary in the this industry. You can trust he’s teaching to get you to become a instructor.

Fantastic experience: I was so glad that I chose to do my instructor training with David, rather than the more remote training offered by other companies. It was fantastic having a training sat with me taking me through every step of my training, helping me gain knowledge and confidence in what can be a daunting career step. Having that support local to me and being able to reach out with any questions, was absolutely invaluable to me. Fantastic experience: Learning to be a PDI, then an ADI was great fun, challenging and led to my new Professional career. My Trainer David Musk was inspiring, motivating and amazingly patient at explaining things. I recommend training to be a Driving Instructor with David Musk. You too could have a career where you are in charge of your diary. I love my job, helping Learners become independent drivers and opening up the next chapter in life. :)

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic experience learning with Calm Driving via David!! Upon hearing my particular situation, David came up with a lovely tangible plan, that incorporated all my training needs! The plans’ structure was perfect and it allowed me to fully isolate and work towards hitting the relevant competencies, whilst providing a great value for money lesson! The mock tests at the end really consolidated all the hard work that we’ve put in and at the end of the plan I’ve felt much stronger and in a much better position to pass my pt.3! Cannot thank David enough for his support and, of course, thoroughly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Training with David was brilliant. He's very knowledgeable and will build a package for your needs. I began my PDI journey with a large national company that was not meeting my expectations or needs. David allowed me to just train for my part 3 and offered flexible training hours around my current job. There is no obligation or contract to join the franchise however, he does offer a flexible package for this if you wish to. He also organises get togethers regularly for his pdis and adis which is great to build a support network as this journey and job can sometimes be a lonely one. We still keep in touch today and I know I could always call on David for help or advise even after qualifying :)

Fantastic experience: In May of this year after failing my Part 3 test feeling depressed, and frustrated with the industry with the level of training I had received from my then Ordit trainer I was ready to throw the towel in! Purley by chance I was recommended by two different Driving instructors to contact David Musk from " Calm driving school" for help. After much deliberation and encouragement from my driving school I contacted David feeling less than motivated at that point. After the first meeting/chat with David I was more than encouraged to continue on the journey to become an instructor. His positive attitude and calm demeanour changed my outlook, it became very apparent to me that I had much to learn to become a "A" grade instructor. So the journey has begun, 6 or so lessons in I feel more able to succeed, David is teaching me so much in a calm, friendly and positive way allowing me to practice new skills obtained, to use during my own lessons, I'm not there yet but making progress, and feel encouraged to see this journey through with my much and long awaited test booked in Nov 24. I, thanks to David am in no doubt I will pass when the time comes, and will be always in his debt, for his hard work and positive ways to ensure my end Goal. I feel I found a friend in life who I can always turn too for help and advice. I would not hesitate to advise anyone who is in my situation or needs a Part 3 instructor to contact David rather than go anywhere else. There is a lot of bad Part 3 tutors out there, but with David, rest assured you'll be paying for professional, quality training, in a friendly manner. Thank you David for just being there. Stewart.

Fantastic experience: David was recommended to me by another instructor that he trained. David was very accommodating and worked around my job at the time often doing 3 hour sessions late in the evening. Without David there would have been no chance in myself passing my part 2 & 3 first time. I’ve now been enjoying life as an ADI for two and half years and it was the best decision I ever for my family. Thanks David.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Calm enough for anyone thinking about training to become a driving instructor. I'm currently training for my Part 2 and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. My day to day driving has improved massively under David's guidance. His course structure is perfect for my style of learning and the pace fits well into my already busy life. Overall I'm feeling confident and determined and I'm looking forward to taking the next steps. I still have a long way to go but this was definitely the right decision for me. I'm glad I chose Calm.

Fantastic experience: I am part way through my journey having passed my Part 1 ADI and Part 2 booked for next week. It is an amazing and scary experience all in one. Only scary because you realise how many bad habits you have acquired or in my experience since I passed my test many many years ago! David has been amazing...he is a patient instructor, there are no judgements and nowadays it is a very coaching experience rather than being told what to do. CALM has welcomed me with open arms and no question is a silly question to ask. I am encouraged to do online work as well as private practice and document all of this. I also have regular driving instruction and teaching with David which is invaluable and reinforces the online learning. For me this is an amazing driving school and I can't wait to begin my new career as an ADI if I hopefully pass my Part 2.

David's one to one course not only gave me a solid foundation in becoming a driving instructor, but was also a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
