Fantastic experience: I contacted this company and was in an awkward situation where I had an upcoming test and no instructor. Spoke to Scott who couldn’t be more helpful and put me in contact with Jack who managed to squeeze me in and he was brilliant and extremely helpful and passed my test and got back on the road thanks to these guys!

Fantastic experience: Scott is the best driving instructor!! He was very helpful and knew how to explain things in a way that made sense and helped me understand! I looked forward to every lesson and am very grateful that he helped me pass first time!!!

Fantastic experience: I chose Matt Shurmer Driving School because of the very good reputation and pass rate. learning to drive was better than I had expected, I expected to really struggle but ended up really enjoying driving. I really like my instructors teaching methods as they were very clear and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend because it was a friendly and proffessional driving school. Fantastic experience: Scott was the perfect instructor - I am late to the party learning to drive as my anxiety and nerves have meant I have waited years to learn... I finally bit the bullet and met Scott - he is a very calm and highly informative instructor he broke everything down and made it clear and easy to understand whilst reminding me to breathe and take things at my own pace. This meant I had much fewer lessons than I thought I would need and passed 1st time! I cannot recommend Scott enough!

I was so nervous when I started with Scott as I had a bad experience with one instructor, but Scott got me out of my shell and I passed!! So easy to talk to and had a laugh on lessons. Fantastic experience: I was very happy with Scott and his way of teaching. Everything he said was very clear to understand which made it easier to pick up and improve my driving skills much quicker. I felt relaxed and comfortable when learning with scott and this helped with my confidence during my driving test as i felt a lot less nervous. Fantastic experience: Scott helped my daughter to past first time and it didn’t take hundreds of lessons either!!!! . He was very patient and calm, which is just what she needed as she was very nervous, but his teaching style was perfect.

Fantastic experience: Scott is an amazing instructor! I passed first time with only 3 minors and I do not think I would have been able to achieve this without his help and guidance. When I struggled at points throughout my lessons it was easy to assess what went wrong and work towards overcoming them due to Scott’s individualised approach. Scott is not just teaching you to drive to pass the test but to drive safely after too. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend Matt Shurmer Driving School. Great service and instructor, took me on as a new student after my original instructor was unavailable to instruct me through my second test attempt. Took me on at short notice and with a limited time window coached me back up to test standard and taught me a lot over the time I had, and I’m pleased to say I passed!

Fantastic experience: I chose Matt Shurmer Driving school after having a read of some of the reviews online and getting a good impression. The prices were fair and they could be pretty flexible around my work hours. Scott was my instructor and his methods were great. He could work out where I was struggling and helped simplify things for me. He was patient and calm and made me realise that driving isn’t as nerve wracking as I’d thought. Couldn’t recommend him enough!
