Welcome, to Ontheroads School of Motoring
We are an independently run driving school with over 20 years experience. We offer a range of affordable driving lessons in Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil ,Glyneath and all surrounding areas.
Our driving school provides good quality driving tuition for novice learner drivers through to experienced drivers at affordable prices.
Whether you are a nervous beginner, looking to brush up your skills or getting ready for test, I can provide the tuition you need.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend anybody to start driving lessons with Martin he taught me the correct ways to stay safe on the roads and to be aware of my surroundings , easy going guy very friendly to talk to while learning and I did pass my driving test yesterday afternoon after taking martins advice , he made me feel confident in driving and being able to take on any road or traffic conditions as his attitude was outstanding, cheers mart

Fantastic experience: I just recently passed my practical driving test. I couldn’t have done it without the lessons that I had with Martin. I started with a very basic understanding of driving. Every question I had was answered clearly, and Martin was very patient and walked me through my mistakes. I would recommend on the roads driving school to anyone I know who is looking to learn to drive. Thanks again for teaching me!

Fantastic experience: My experience was amazing. The prices of each lesson are good compared to other driving instructors. I have passed my test with only a few minors.

Fantastic experience: Needed a refresher lesson before picking up my new car as havent driven in 2 years. Martin was quick to respond and was able to get me in last minute, he was patient and very professional. I felt insanely comfortable to drive and he was helping and advising every step of the way. He explained things to me in a much better way that my previous instructor ever did so I picked up on things a lot faster and my confidence was growing in leaps and bounds. Definitely worth the reasonable price and I'd recommend them to anyone!

Charges an excellent price for the lessons. My driving lessons where very detailed covering everything I needed to learn to pass my test. Fantastic experience: I started my lesson with martin in april and past my test first time in august with 2 minors all thanks to martins patients such a fab instructor i would highly recommend him to others. Thanks martin.
Positive experience: Highly recommend, very friendly and patient helped me pass on my first attempt with only 1 minor .
Negative experience: Unreliable and still owes me money from lessons I didn't receive!!! I gave him enough opportunity to contact me to resolve this but hasn't been forthcoming Texts and calls ignored Avoid 100%
