Fantastic experience: I did my full HGV C1 (C+E) with Huw Williams. They helped me and guided me from start to finish. They book your tests and retests. Very professional! The instructor was very knowledgeable and has a very unique way of instructing. The amount you learn in such a short time can be quite overwhelming! But I was in the best hands. Fantastic experience: After reading some of these on line reviews I was slightly nervous before starting my course, but I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed my time training. With no previous lessons or experience I applied for my Cat C&E and from start to finish had a truly positive experience. Firstly I found Mandy extremely helpful and was always happy to take my calls for any queries I had. She took care of booking my medical, theory etc before I started my training. When I started my driving I found the way they teach with two people learning together very beneficial, when I wasn’t driving I was still learning by watching my training partner. I wasn’t a natural at reversing which took me a bit longer to master, and was almost ready to give up, but with the guidance and patience of both Keith and Huw I finally mastered it. I had lessons with both driving instructors neither of which I can fault, they are both so knowledgable and gave me so much guidance and confidence. Yes I was told off if I repeatedly made the same mistake, but I actually needed it! After having 3 full days of driving with our test on the 4th day, I passed my test at the first attempt. I really can’t recommend Huw Williams Driver Training enough.

Fantastic experience: Keith was a fabulous instructor - witty, observant and helpful. Moved from another company where confidence was dented but would thoroughly recommend the intensive training with 2 learners - you learn a lot from each other. Wish I’d come here first and saved myself lots of time and money!! Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I have passed my CATEGORY c + e test today thanks to Huw. Yes he is passionate and there might be some industrial language, but Huw is skilled in making something new, easy to digest. I have been with another competitor and was frustrated by snide comments etc. Glad I found Huw. A few days of simple direct teaching and I excelled. I recommend Huw wholeheartedly and would guess you will pick things up quickly like I did. Simple and effective teaching = passing your test fast.

Fantastic experience: Passed with Huw Williams not so long ago, great training, good tuition, having 2 people being taught at once is good as we get a chance to stop and have a breather as there’s so much to take in over such a short amount of time (and learn from the other persons mistakes) great weeks training and worth every penny if you’re considering doing your HGV

Negative experience: 22/5/23 update-I have noticed a Mandy Williams has writen back to this. I am not written on the wrong website. I did infect Huw Williams himself. I did it through a bus/coach company, they put me through it. There was 3/4 of us attended at the same time and we all walked out at the same time. I will never see my money now, also looks like they are denied I was even there, hoping I wouldn’t respond back. Good luck for the future Started my PSV training, was great first 1/2 lessons, then didn’t like getting swore at, shout at. There wasn’t anything wrong with my driving. I ask where something was on the coach when I did my driving test, he had a fight with me over it. saying they won’t ask me. As they did ask me on my test. Felt uncomfortable, I had to move company to pass my test. Am still waiting for my £35 back, he borrowed of me and he was meant to give it back next lesson.

Fantastic experience: I Passed my Class 1 this Morning amazing feeling all credit to Keith for his Superb Tuition, and from Huw who kicked me up the Bum and told me to Park the Vehicle in the Garage on my Reverse, I can't thank you enough next chapter awaits.

Fantastic experience: Recently passed my CE first time after never having been behind the wheel of one before. Huw & Tom where faultless in the instruction and training and I went in confident on test day. Don't go anywhere else apart from here if you are thinking of getting in to this industry. Thanks again guys!

Fantastic experience: Passed my c+e ( class 1 ) hgv today with huw after 3 days training, never sat in a truck before monday , passed 3a reversing tuesday and on the road this morning , excellent service highly recommended , no messing about straight into it ***** 5 star

Fantastic experience: Huw has trained all my drivers since we have been in business 13 years ago and he is fabulous. I couldn't recommend anyone else!

Fantastic experience: I have had experience of lorry and trailer test training with Huw and John and have found them to be excellent! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Negative experience: They have nice looking website - thats the only pro i can think of. Theres a lot more cons. I'll start with really impatient instructor - Huw himself - shouting and yelling at me many times during my lessons, making me so stresfull so i lost all my hope i can do it. He also hits his windows hard when yelling isnt enough. I know i wasnt catching everything as quick as others but shouting at your trainee - doesnt give any confidence at all. And it doesnt help either. Another con is the price. You pay 1195 and all you get is about 10h driving. Course takes 3 days and your exam is on 4th day. I had to share all my training with another lad - we just were swaping over every hour or so. After my 10 hours i didnt feel ready at all. So in the end i failed twice - all due to ways i was trained. Avoid if you can!
