Fantastic experience: Mike is a wonderful driving instructor. From day one I felt comfortable, despite every lesson being a learning curve, Mike and I would chat which always put me at ease. He is always flexible and accommodating when he can be and went above and beyond doing lessons with me on a couple of his days off due to circumstances. I always felt like I could ask questions, and no question was ever perceived as a dumb one. I would 100% recommend Mike to anyone and everyone. If you want to pass your test, this is the driving instructor you want to book your lessons with.

Fantastic experience: I’ve started learning to drive with Mike in November 2019 having no prior experience. From the very beginning, Mike put me at ease. No question was ever a silly question. Mike always gave me clear instructions, and when needed, adapted his way of teaching to suit my individual needs such as using visual aids. He allowed me to make mistakes so I could learn from them. More importantly, he allowed me to learn in my own time. After not being able to drive during the two lockdowns, I was very apprehensive to start driving again. However, Mike’s kind demeanour helped me to overcome my anxiety and rebuild my confidence. What’s more, Mike always tried to look at the positives and gave me regular feedback which helped me to realise how far I’ve come and what I have to work on. When I failed my first test and asked for more lessons, Mike managed to squeeze me in to his busy schedule. With my demanding uni/work schedule it was always very important to me to know my lessons in advance, and Mike always gave me plenty of notice. His expertise, knowledge and attitude are second to none, and I would highly recommend Mike’s School of Motoring to anyone. If you’re looking for an instructor who is reliable, encouraging and fun to be around, go with Mike and trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Positive experience: Instructor was patient however blamed me for failing my driving test. Made to feel completely worthless as was told after the fail that any other instructor would not have put a student through the test as they knew I wasn't ready. They were however happy to take money from me for 2hrs worth of lessons prior to the test.

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school . Mike helped me become confident with my driving which allowed me to pass my driving test on the 1st attempt. I had a few previous instructors but Mike was the best by far. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: just phoned up to book some lessons, im from dundee but was going to come through to perth once a week with hopes of taking lessons and sitting my test in perth instead of dundee, so i phoned up mike and he was really unprofessional, he said he couldnt give me lessons so i asked what the problem was and he replies in a very snidey manor "i just dont want to" and then hung up. wouldnt recommend this company at all.
