Negative experience: I’m really disappointed with the instruction my daughter has received. 8 weeks before her test Shaun said she didn’t need anymore lessons, leaving her to have driving practice with myself or her dad. At no point did he mention that she could potentially have to follow a sat nav, he did not practice emergency stops or complete mock tests with my daughter. Each lesson he asked her what she wanted to do, as the instructor he should have been guiding her. She was totally left to her own devices, went to her test thinking she was prepared when in actual fact this was far from the truth. She has unfortunately failed which has knocked her confidence. Do I recommend this driving school? Absolutely not.

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive alongside Shaun is not just a learning experience, but an adventure as well. Patient, personable and professional. He's firm but fair. An instructor who's cool, calm and collected; someone who can 'walk the walk,' as well as 'talk the talk'. One of Shaun's crowning attributes is his ability to be malleable/flexible. Whenever there's a problem, he strives for a solution and tests many methods on how to improve his students' capabilities. Some work; some fail, but all in all, it's a learning experience for the individual, as well as Shaun. Just know that he wants -YOU- to succeed; your success is his success. Your achievements, your accomplishments and your improvements are a reflection on both yourself, in addition to Shaun. In the end, after all we had endured - the 'good'; the 'bad' and the 'ugly' - we worked together, not only as student and instructor', but as good friends. Time and effort is what he offers, so long as you do, too. Give Shaun a try, as I am sure you'll soon discover that there's no better instructor in the business! You won't regret it, just like how I sure-as-hell don't! Best of luck to anyone/everyone else who gives this genuine and great guy a shot. Thank you, Shaun, for everything in the end. P.S. Fantastic experience: started lessons with a little experience, shawn helped me learn everything in a very detailed and simple way. hes lovely and makes you feel very comfortable. i passed after 5 months of driving, first time and with 4 minors. would highly recommend

He doesn’t just teach you how to drive, he invests in you as a person and has even taught me valuable things that I will use outside of driving. He is friendly, funny, patient, reassuring and completely honest about what level you are at as a driver, as well as what you need to improve. If you are anxious about driving, Shaun will keep giving you the confidence you need and won’t give up on you. When you are behind the wheel, you can tell that Shaun knows exactly what he is doing and he stays alert at all times, so you always feel assured that he will be able to quickly step in to correct any mistakes. Fantastic experience: Where do I start with this man. Shaun "Magic Muzza" Murray is an absolutely top draw Driving Instructor and an even better bloke! I started learning to drive again back in 2020 with the intention of really going for it this time. I was 26 and all my other friends and peers all have a License and have done for many years. This is something that ate away at me and I was desperate to finally change it. I was recommended to try Shaun by a close friend so decided to give it a shot. Me and Shaun got along with each other instantly which calmed any nerves I had or any anxiety towards driving. We both share a love for the beautiful game of Football, and being that Shaun was an ex professional it made for endless conversations during lessons! After failing 5 times I finally passed on Saturday! And I owe a lot to Shaun for sticking with me and believing in my ability. Shaun was always very supportive of me and genuinely believed I could pass if I could just conquer my anxieties on the day. Due to nobodies fault but my own, I just kept letting nerves get the better of me on the day and made silly mistakes. But on Saturday I finally conquered it and it's the best feeling in the world! I cannot speak any higher of this man because I wouldn't have been able to do it without him. I don't just see him as a Driving Instructor or an Ex Professional Footballer anymore, I see him as a great friend. Thank You Shaun.

Fantastic experience: Shaun is a very experienced instructor and makes sure you get the most out of each lesson. When I started to learn I was extremely anxious about driving a car, Shaun's positive attitude and teaching style really helped me overcome these barriers and I managed to pass first time. He has a strong familiarity of the roads in the Nottingham and Grantham area, and tailors his lessons to tutor his students to a range of road types and driving situations. Furthermore, Shaun was very flexible, such as being available on short notice, which was really beneficial due to my job at the time. Would highly recommend.
