Fantastic experience: Martin is a great driving instructor who keeps the lesson professional but also relaxed and friendly. He creates a calm environment which was perfect for going from having no driving experience to passing first time. I definitely recommend learning with Martin for anyone in the York area!

He has all the right tools and training materials to help students learn and understand what driving safely entails. He is also friendly and professional with organising lessons and arriving on time. His website which covers the difficult junctions was also very useful in helping me pass my test.

Fantastic experience: I was really anxious to start driving, but Martin helped put my nerves at ease from the start by explaining exactly what we would be doing, and how I would progress. Very kind and competent in teaching. Also helped my anxiety along the way when I made mistakes, allowing me to take a pause and talk through exactly what was the problem, and then further practicing that element of driving. Fantastic experience: Martin is the best! He has taught both our daughters to drive, getting them through their tests first time. They have really enjoyed his lessons and have appreciated his consistent calm approach to teaching. Never gets annoyed or frustrated. He covers the theory and driving centre familiarisation too before the theory and practical tests. He may have a waiting list, but given his quality of teaching he's well worth the wait. Motorway lesson with Martin next for the youngest who has just passed!
