Fantastic experience: Over time i have had a handful of instructors but really struggled with nerves and feeling like i wasnt capable. Since the start of my lessons to passing my test with bobby he has reassured me and made me believe i am good enough to continue. He has made me feel at complete ease. One of the kindest men i have ever met! I couldnt thank him enough for everything. I couldnt recommend a driving instructor anymore than i do bobby! Will miss our 2 hour sessions on a monday.

Fantastic experience: Bob is a fantastic driving instructor - always very patient, calm and cheerful! I was quite anxious returning to learning to drive after a long gap, but he made me feel at ease right from the beginning. He is extremely reliable and punctual, and the lessons were always very carefully planned to get the most out of the time. I’d taken a test many years ago, but was so happy to pass the first time I took a test with Bob - I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor!

Fantastic experience: I passed first time! Bob is probably the best teacher I have ever had, in anything. He is very calm and kind. He is clear with his instructions and is very patient. He never made me doubt my abilities and always understood what I was struggling with and helped bring confidence to my driving. From the first few lessons I knew that Bob wasn't just teaching me how to pass my test but was teaching me how to feel confident and safe behind the wheel. I would recommend Bob to anyone.

Negative experience: Took weeks to get back to me, and used Google Messaging rather than email? Unreliable, although I'm sure he's a great instructor.

Fantastic experience: Bob is a fantastic driving instructor, he teaches you how to drive safely which is the most important thing in my opinion. I am from Brazil and I was so apprehensive thinking how I would learn how to drive in England and Bob just showed me it is extremely easy and taught me how to be a safe driver. He is a friendly and patient instructor and he took away all the fear I had of manoeuvres!! I feel so confident now, he is brilliant! Fantastic experience: Clear, cheerful and all around fantastic instructor. Was patient as I ironed out bad habits! Bob is excellent at visualizing and explaining manouvers and road layouts simply and effectively, as well as reassuring you if you inevitably encounter any scary situations on the road. Thanks to him I passed first time. I would highly recommend Bob without a doubt, especially to nervous or anxious beginners. Other than his skills as an instructor, he has a great sense of humour and it is easy to get along and have a banter with him if you're ever feeling nervous or overwhelmed. Fantastic experience: Bob is a fantastic driving instructor and great fun to work with! I always felt very relaxed and at ease when being taught by Bob, something that hadn't been present with my too previous instructors. Bob has very simple but very effective methods for all the manoeuvres that are required, they became much less daunting than before! Bob is also a really interesting guy, we always had something to talk about. I looked forward to my lessons, unlike the sessions of my two previous instructors. Thanks Bob!

Fantastic experience: There a lot of driving instructors to choose from in the Stroud area but I am hoping my review can help you take the hassle out of searching for a great one. I have just recently passed my driving test with Bob and I am actually a little sad that the learning experience is over. Aside, from the learner car being an amazing car to learn and drive in, Bob is a great instructor and makes you feel at ease from the first lesson on-wards. He is a friendly, patient instructor with a great sense of humor and great teaching style that can help you learn the complexities of driving and how to drive safely. I started out feeling really nervous of the road but with the help of Bob I feel so much more confident about driving. If you are thinking of learning to drive, then Bob is the man for the job! :-)

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Bob Waters as a driving instructor without hesitation. He was able to take my very nervous 17 year old daughter and make a confident driver who past her test first time. The lessons started slowly building her knowledge and skills at her own pace, but Bob was able to build her confidence quickly and was always positive.
