Fantastic experience: My daughter's driving instructor could no longer teach her so I contacted Jo to see if she could give my daughter a few lessons as she was nearly ready for a test. Jo was so helpful and knowledgeable and my daughter felt that she learnt so much just in those few lessons especially mastering the manoeuvres. Thank you Jo.

Fantastic experience: Jo was an amazing driving instructor she really taught me everything there is to learn while also having lots of fun on the side. Jo was extremely flexible as I was working shifts and she was able to work around this to help me succeed. Jo is so lovely and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn how to drive, the first time I got into the car with Jo she really helped me to calm my nerves and since then I was able to pass my driving test first go.

Fantastic experience: I reached out to Jo as my partner had previously been taking lessons with another driving school but sadly they turned out to be more interested in the money rather than teaching - this leaving him quite nervous and apprehensive about the whole experience. I found Jo’s details online after scouring many reviews and I’m so thankful we did - she really is brilliant with anyone who needs confidence building and builds a great level of trust with her students. Jo was so flexible, she got him booked in as soon as possible and was calm, reassuring and supportive throughout, she just made the entire experience for him a lot more enjoyable. Needless to say, he passed first time after lessons with Jo - she is an absolute superstar ⭐️

Fantastic experience: I passed first time all thanks to Jo, despite me having no confidence in whether I would be able to learn to begin with. Jo is very friendly and knowledgable, and guided me through a well thought out structure of lessons. This meant I developed my skills steadily and quicker than I thought possible. Before my test I was guided through everything that would and could happen so I was as confident and comfortable as I could be.

Fantastic experience: Jo is THE BEST driving instructor! I had a few instructors in the area and failed the test. Even as an experienced adult international driver with a drivers licence outside the UK. Fortunately I found Jo. She’s totally PROFESSIONAL, has amazing KNOWLEDGE, and makes learning HUMAN. She made me feel confident I was going to pass before my test day. I passed, and even as I drive around today I can still imagine her sitting on my left giving me guidance.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous to start learning to drive at first, but Jo made the process so much better than I thought it would be and I quickly began to look forward to my lessons every week. She was always patient and encouraging, and helped to fit lessons around work and university if needed. Will always point people in this direction if looking for driving lessons!

Her lessons are well planned out with great explanations and illustrations of how to tackle junctions and roundabouts. Jo is full of expression which really helped me with positioning on roundabouts and knowing the speed limits of roads. She's a great driving instructor who I'd highly recommend to anyone learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Jo is an exceptional driving instructor who helped me pass first time. She is very friendly and patient. Her lessons are well planned out in making sure you progress at your own pace. I found I had a natural ability to drive, however, there were still some areas that needed improvements. Jo made it clear what I needed to do and how to become a better driver. I 100% recommend her as a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended driving instructor. Jo has taught 2 of my kids to drive and they both passed first time. She maintains a great balance of friendly and fun, with professional and thorough. She makes sure they are confident with one thing before moving on to the next. Her way of teaching has left helpful phases in her pupils heads that they still say while driving many months later, proving that what they were taught has sunk in and continues to help them on the road today. Jo is patient and calm which helps new pupils relax and grow in confidence. Fantastic teacher !

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to be introduced to Jo after being let down by a previous instructor. Immediately I felt at ease when I met her. She asked me what I felt were my strongest and weakest points, then worked through them stage by stage so it seemed a lot easier. I found Jo to be, not just an instructor, but a friend too. With me being a single mum Jo managed to work round my childcare problems and work commitments. She is everything you would want from an instructor and more. When I passed my test first time, Jo was so happy for me and i knew it was genuine. She shows so much joy in her work and is geniunely happy when you do well! If you want a happy, committed, caring instructor then Jo is your woman! 5 stars are not enough!

Fantastic experience: Jo was very kind and considerate, I didn't massively struggle when learning to drive, so she adapted her approach to increase my confidence rather than ability. She was able to identify where I needed to practice and how best to help me. Jo was also happy to have a friendly chat whilst driving and made me feel really comfortable. When we learned new things she had pictures and a whiteboard to easily show me what to do and how to do it and she was able to give feedback whilst driving and she picked up on every mistake politely and respectfully. I would definitely recommend Altogether Driving School. Absolutely nothing compares to her. The only issue is that she is so popular that it may be difficult to find a space, which I definitely wouldn't say is a negative . If you can book a space then do, even if you have to wait a while

Jo helped me considerably as i was a very nervous driver at first, She went through everything at a pace that suited me and i found that very helpful. Fantastic experience: Jo is very patient with me which has made me very comfortable in learning to drive as I was very nervous to begin with. As soon as I had my first lesson she instantly made me realise that I had no reason to be so nervous in the first place. I fully recommend Jo as a driving instructor. :)
