Fantastic experience: I booked a 2 hour automatic refresher lesson as I haven’t driven for over 10 years and was referred to Ismet. He arrived on time and the lesson was great, so good in fact that I bought a car the month afterwards and have been driving regularly since then! He was friendly, professional and really boosted my confidence behind the wheel. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this driving school.

Fantastic experience: I recommend Archway Driving School. I had lessons from Nicos who is a well-knowledged instructor. I learnt a lot from him and passed the test in December 2023. My husband continues to take lessons from Ismet and he improved a lot so far. Stephos is responsive person whenever we need an instructor. So far we are satisfied with their service. Thank you team

Negative experience: Shocking experience with Nicos. Firstly was told it was £32.50 an hour - affordable, I thought. Then told it was a 2-hour session mandatory per week. Fine. But 15 minutes each way were spent driving to and from the lesson area. The instructor nearly crashed the car on he first lesson because he was't looking at the road. Then spent the entire lessons playing Star Trek on his phone and not watching the road or instructing me at all. Just a lack of professionalism or respect for the people that are paying you for your services. As usual, people are happy to take your money and offer not even basic decency in return, let alone the service you paid for. I felt robbed.

Fantastic experience: Delighted with service from Nicos, he went through everything step by step in each lesson and I passed my practical test first time today with very short notice and in a center where me nor Nicos had ever dealt with before, would highly recommend, A+++

Negative experience: Would not recommend. Wasted a lot of money. Drove around same area for months. Did not even attempt to got to carriageways or roundabouts. Month before my test, was told he couldn’t do any more lessons. I then was given someone different in the company who took forever to reply. Not recommend at all!

Negative experience: I'm looking into driving lessons at the moment and came across this company. Checking the 5-star reviews and have come to realise that A LOT of them were given by accounts whose only purpose is to give 5-star ratings to driving schools! Seemingly disingenuous company.

Negative experience: I personally had the worst experience possible. Days before my test my driving instructor, Ali, did a complete runner on me - no seriously, fell off the face of the earth and stopped responding to my calls and messages. After 3 days, I called the driving school to inquire what was going on and if I there was another car I could take the test with. I was informed by Stephos, who runs the place that Ali had gone back to his home country for a family issue. I understand these things happen. However, very unprofessional to fall off the face of the earth without letting your student know you wont be there for her test. Then I was given the contact of another instructor, Hoti, last minute. I explained my situation and how stressed I was at having been bailed on by my previous instructor last minute. Baring in mind my test is in a few days at this point, Hoti also did not respond to my texts to confirm he'd be able to make my test with his car and when I called to confirm, he was extremely rude to me over the phone for disturbing him. Anyone in my situation can tell you that learning to drive and taking the test is a stressful experience and one that requires reassurance from your school and instructors end. Unfortunately, Archway driving school did not come through when they needed to. There are many other schools and instructors in the area, you would be risking a lot of money, your test and peace of mind by going with this school - choose another one.

Fantastic experience: I passed first time with Stefos, he is brilliant instructor and very flexible with times. Iv never once seen him use his mobile phone during a driving lesson, so for you to suggest it is a farce or a one off. Clearly you have something to gain Elizabeth if you have never had a driving lesson with Stefos.
