Fantastic experience: Farooq is an exceptional teacher and any student would be incredibly fortunate to have him as an instructor. I passed my test on the first try with only two minors. More importantly, I feel confident behind the wheel and am driving solo in my own car just 24 hours after passing! This was my second attempt at learning to drive; my first try at 18 was a complete disaster. My previous instructor explained things poorly, became annoyed easily, and left me very discouraged. I was convinced that driving just wasn’t for me. Now in my 40s, I found myself needing to learn. I was extremely apprehensive at first, but Farooq quickly put my nerves at ease. He is not only professional and patient but also provides a very reassuring presence. His extensive knowledge and engaging teaching methods make it easy to understand the rationale behind best practices and how to make sound driving decisions. Moreover, he’s a master of the testing process, thoroughly familiar with potential test routes, which ones are more likely to come up depending on the time of day, etc. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

He is very thorough in his approach to teaching, explaining scenarios both visually and through practical navigating of situations, with plenty of encouragement! Because of this, I felt very well-prepared for my exam, feeling confident in my ability to fulfil the requirements of the examiner, and navigating any challenges of the test area, and I passed first time!

Fantastic experience: Farooq was a great instructor - calm, patient and extremely knowledgable of all the local test routes (including the tricky bits where many people come unstuck). Would recommend, particularly for other nervous first time learners!
