Fantastic experience: I was struggling a lot with driving confidence and progression with my previous instructor. I suffer with anxiety at times and trying to change instructor was very stressful. My mum found Ruth through her amazing reviews and reputation online and decided booked me in. Ruth was very understanding of my whole situation and helped me completely turn my driving experience round. I was very hesitant and nervous, however Ruth’s lovely personality shone through and helped me come out of my shell on my very first lesson with her. I felt so comfortable and at ease. With little time to spare until my test, Ruth was absolutely amazing at getting me back on my feet with learning to drive. I passed with only 3 driving faults, all thanks to Ruth and her amazing teaching practices. I would definitely recommend her to anyone learning to drive but especially those who struggle with anxiety, she is amazing! Thank you Ruth

Fantastic experience: Amazing instructor! I absolutely loved learning to drive with Ruth, she is so lovely, reassuring, calm and understanding. She’s was amazing at helping me learn from my mistakes and become more confident when driving. She is extremely knowledgeable and teaches in a way that is easy to understand. Kind , understanding and thorough.With the patience of a saint. when I first started learning I was very much a danger to society, without her perseverance and patience I definitely wouldn’t be passing today. Fantastic experience: Ruth has been a lovely instructor to learn with and helped me learn in many different ways which suited me. She has been patient with me throughout my period of learning and supported me to the very end. She has helped me so much with my confidence and understanding. She offers many opportunities such as doing the Pass Plus course with her after you’ve passed and even offers to help those who need additional help with passing their theory. She is also someone to have a lovely chat with if that’s what you like while driving. she has been a blessing and i recommend her highly as i just passed my test today with her!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a student with Ruth for some time, both before and since Covid, and after uni. In all our lessons she has been phenomenal - a calm and sensible teacher, with a skill for explaining complex manoeuvres and traffic situations in a way that makes sense. She has remained patient and supportive throughout my lessons, and has been willing to communicate regarding additional sessions. I would highly recommend her services as an instructor for those entirely new to driving, and to those for whom it is necessary to revise the basics.

Fantastic experience: I have had lessons with Ruth for months following the pandemic and she was very thorough and patient. She was chatty and friendly and this made the lessons less stressful, especially in the beginning. Her teaching meant I had one minor by the time I passed my test, which I think says it all :)

Fantastic experience: What I especially liked about being taught how to drive by Ruth is that you can go at your own pace, and if you’re too afraid to do something for the first time, Let her know and she will break it down for you and make it really easy and not scary at all. Ruth is an amazing driving instructor and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn how to drive as the lessons are fun, informative and productive, and she helped me pass first time!

Fantastic experience: Ruth is an amazing instructor and I couldn't recommend anyone better. Her lessons are calm and relaxed and she organises the lessons for each person. I struggled on gear changes and the clutch but after a few lessons where she showed me the correct way to do it i got it. Thank you so much for your help! Definitely book your lessons with her!

Fantastic experience: After two bad experiences with two previous instructors my brother recommended Ruth. He went with Ruth after a bad experience with his first driving instructor. My brother passed first time with her as did I. Ruth has a calming approach and will explain things in a way you will understand. She has a lot of patients what is great as I was a nervous driver to begin with. Ruth helped me to enjoy driving and helped build my confidence up behind the wheel. It is also so nice to be asked what you want to do in lessons that you feel you need to improve on when you are close to your test. During Covid Ruth made sure to keep all her students up to date with regular messages what was great. Then when it came back to driving again Ruth made me feel comfortable straight away getting back behind the wheel after a long break. It is nice to be asked what you want to do in lessons that you feel you need to improve on. I would give Ruth 100% rating as I believe her to be a great instructor as did my brother. We always recommend her to anyone who asks about driving instructors. Thank you again Ruth for everything.

Fantastic experience: Ruth is an amazing instructor, she is calm and methodical, explains everything in ways I can understand. Its just a shame Covid has meant massive breaks in lessons, even then Ruth keeps us all up to date with all the information we need so we can drive safely as soon as its legally possible! Fantastic experience: Ruth is a fantastic driving instructor, Ruth made me feel relaxed very quickly and I didn't feel pressured to get things right. Ruth is down to earth and easy to chat with and just makes you feel confident even about the things you might not feel confident about straight away. Ruth made me feel comfortable and always found a solution if I was struggling, all the while being patient and understanding. Fantastic experience: Ruth is everything you could want and need in a driving instructor and more! She has been a wonderful teacher- knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, friendly, honest, punctual, reliable, and professional. Not only has she helped make me a confident driver, she has made me someone who enjoys driving. We have shared so many laughs in lessons and I truly have enjoyed learning with Ruth. I have never felt any question I had was too silly, nor that it was a problem if I needed re-explaining anything in a different way. I felt like we were a team when going to my driving test today, and I cannot tell you how much that calmed my exam nerves! I definitely recommend Ruth to anyone wanting to lean to drive, and hope you all have just as good as experience as I had :)

Fantastic experience: Ruth is a fantastic driving instructor. She took me on after a bad experience with another instructor and she gave me the confidence and skills needed to pass. She is knowledgeable, friendly and displays the perfect amount of patience for a pupil. She was never once angry or frustrated with me.
