Fantastic experience: What an instructor......My son was struggling with previous instructor, I know Ian through my place of work, so asked if he could help.......more than help, my son instantly felt at ease & started enjoying his learning in a much more relaxed environment.......needless to say, with Ians expert tuition & help, my son flew through his practical test with flying colours, I can't recommend MyDrive NorthEast enough, thanks again Ian & keep an eye out for my daughter contacting you, easiest 5star review I've ever given

Fantastic experience: Driving with Ian was an absolute pleasure with his patience and great sense of humour. Every lesson was packed with clear guidance, reassurance, and great banter every week. I started learning to drive with no experience and no confidence yet Ian helped me to pass quickly and first time with ease. I could not imagine having anyone else teaching me to drive. Ian is an icon and i could not recommend him more.

Fantastic experience: The best driving instructor on planet earth!!! So down to earth honestly very nice person in general. Personally I had a lot of doubts in myself when driving but Ian is the one to go , he will sort you out and get you driving in no time!! As an anxious driver myself I passed first time with 0 driving faults all because of Ian. So if you are looking for a driving instructor I really really recommend MyDrive northeast :)

Fantastic experience: I passed with Ian after 8 months. He was so kind and if I made a mistake he would make sure I learnt about it in my own way. Fantastic experience: I passed 1st time with Ian over 15 (!) years ago, and I still recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor now. Ian puts you at ease straight away, and I even cried with laughter through some of the lessons. Best driving instructor around I'd say!

Fantastic experience: Thank to Ian helping me pass my driving test. Coming out of lockdown I was anxious about doing driving lessons with masks being in play, masks made it hard for me to hear people never mind people inside of cars. Ian understood that and let me know when he was ready to do lesson without masks. First lesson Ian asked multiple questions ensuring he could learn the best way he could help me with my hearing. Taking the first lesson slow and seeing what worked best for me and how I could best learn. Ian even did homework in his spare time to understand deafness more even printing out signs. If you don't feel comfortable Ian will reassure you. You just have to let him know and he will do everything he can to help you asking questions for you both to see what works best. Couldn't have asked for anyone better, thank you Ian for all the effort you put in from within the car and behind the scenes. Woudn't have been able to take the first step (first lesson) without the help of you.
