Fantastic experience: There are not enough stars available to thoroughly recommend Geoff! Having failed two tests previously and taken a long break, I looked for a new instructor. Geoff came with rave reviews locally and after my first lesson, it became very clear why. Professional, thorough and incredibly committed, Geoff takes the job seriously while being great company! A fantastic instructor, his explanations are clear, using a variety of methods. He adapts well to your needs, ensures you learn at a pace that is comfortable but the right level of challenge to develop your skills. He listens carefully to what works for you while offering expert advice. He is incredibly patient and helped me entirely overcome some 'fear' areas of my driving. He is firm and clear when necessary but maintains a positive, friendly and trusting approach at all times, with a good sense of humour! Unlike other instructors who may be more 'passing the test' focused, Geoff wants to help all learners be safe, effective and confident drivers for life. He went above and beyond to provide tips, advice and additional instruction. He has a passion for the job and invests in his learners. A teacher myself, I can confidently say this makes all the difference. I won't forget his special phrases and sayings for the systems, but will miss him being the calm presence in the passenger seat!

He focuses on making sure that people are safe on the road by giving them the skills required to drive safely, rather than only teaching them the basic skills required to get them through the test. Fantastic experience: I have taken my theory test 9 times over the past 12 years and passed every time and took driving lessons from 5 driving instructors before I met Geoff and it was fair to say that passing the test seemed like something that would never happen. For the first half of this journey I lived in London and my husband did all the driving because he likes to. We then moved to Wiltshire and as much as we all liked bundling into the car and doing everything together, it quickly became apparent that to be travel efficient with two kids I needed to start driving. I found Geoff on a Google search, we had a quick phone conversation and after the normal checks and paperwork, we made plans for me to be taught by him. Its not a coincidence that Geoff got me to the finishing line unlike the other instructors. I am sure they are good in their own right however, Geoff made me feel like we were in this together. A pass for me was a pass for him. He taught me with heurisric methods that made processes fun and easy to remember. Even now when driving and I find myself in congested meeting situations I will still mouth to myself "less space, less speed" These methods were a jumping off point and not a rigid rule. Geoff listened and understood that everyone learns differently and would alter lessons to ensure I was learning in the best way for me. In short Geoff didnt teach me how to pass the test, he taught me to drive safely. His innovative teaching methods mixed with old school charm make me miss our Friday morning slots. I beam with pride to say that I am a Geoff Harvey graduate.

Fantastic experience: Both daughters passed first time with Geoff. He's an excellent driving instructor - He focuses on turning beginners into drivers rather than just passing the test. He's very patient, very informative and utterly reliable. Lots of our girls' school friends had problems with other instructors. Don't waste time and effort on the others - contact Geoff!

Fantastic experience: Geoff is an absolutely amazing driving instructor, he goes at your speed of learning and works with your capabilities. I never wanted to learn to drive, however within a couple of lessons with Geoff I was behind the wheel beginning to feel more confident. Fantastic experience: First of all, you will not meet a nicer guy than Geoff Harvey. After having a bad experience with another instructor, I was left stranded without a car only one week before my test as my previous instructor said he would not lend me his car for the test day after saying I was deemed unsafe even though he had not mentioned this in any other lesson and only decided to tell me this information one week before my test. After contacting Geoff, in my despair, he squeezed me in his schedule and used our very little time that we had to get me up to test standard even though he was fully booked. He was able to teach me basic and important things that I had not been taught by the other instructor at the start of our lessons months and months of lessons previous. Geoff had no intention to waste time and after only a few lessons, I was ready to do my test, which was only a few days away. Most importantly, I felt at ease with him in the car. Surely enough, I Passed first time, thanks to Geoff; my only regret is not having him from the beginning. Truly grateful, thank you very much, Geoff Harvey, for the start of my career.

He took me, 40 year old driving virgin, and after many months of tears and tantrums (mainly geoffs) lol, i finished with a fantastic 1st time pass. Fantastic experience: I failed four times with a driving instructor when I was a teenager and gave up on driving for good. I thought I was no good and didn't get behind the wheel of a car for seven years. Eventually a colleague and a friend who had learnt with Geoff before persuaded me to give it another try with Geoff as my instructor. After a matter of months I passed FIRST TIME with Geoff. I honestly thought it was never going to happen until Geoff agreed to take me on and teach me properly. You will not find a better, more knowledgable, more patient, and more effective driving instructor in the area in my opinion. Geoff knows his stuff back to front, teaches it well and quickly helps you understand where you're going wrong and how to do it right. He's ethical, honest, approachable and clear in his teaching. It also helps that he happens to be one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting, but that's only an added bonus. His teaching was what got me through my test first time in mere months. Fantastic experience: I passed with Geoff over two years ago, but shortly after passing I fell ill and couldn't drive for two years! As soon as I could drive again, I got in contact with Geoff and he gave me a refresher lesson. Not only is his instruction fun and engaging, but it is fundamentally about SAFETY which is an area that he will not compromise on at all. I was very pleasantly surprised with how much of his teachings I'd remembered after two years of not driving. After and hour or so he had me back up and running. I think this proves that Geoff's teachings on driving and safety are not just for christmas, they're for life.

Fantastic experience: I can't imagine I could have found a better instructor than Geoff, he was patient, considerate and easy to get along with his teaching style is both safe, relaxed and structured which makes for a more relaxed and fun experience. Although not taking away from every lesson being tailored specifically to what needed to either be learnt or improved upon also he was great with giving me the confidence and skills I needed to pass my test along with safely and responsibly driving after I'd passed, a huge thank you.

Both me and my sister drove with Geoff and passed first time, he is consistantly punctual with every single lesson, an incredible instructor who will get you passed first time! such a friendly and approachable man, he helped me with my theory test through to my highway code and my Show me Tell me questions.
