Fantastic experience: I could not recommend hallwood training enough whether you’re a first time driver or you’ve had some practice before in a car you will pick things up very fast and get quick results with Ian. The teaching he provides is one of the best if not the best in Ipswich. He got me passed with only 11 hours of driving lessons so I think that speaks for itself.

Fantastic experience: Ian is incredible. So supportive and helpful and very kind. Never thought I like pass until I had Ian. Always had a good laugh during lessons and couldn’t recommend anyone better for someone learning to drive. If I could I would give 50 stars.

Fantastic experience: The best decision I made when learning to drive was chosing Ian as my instructor. He is kind, patient, funny and makes you feel at ease while you are in the car with him. He will teach you everything you need to know and will go over things multiple times if you ask. I would not have passed without him. Fantastic experience: Ian is by far the best driving instructor you will find in Felixstowe and Ipswich. I had a lot of different instructors before I found Ian on Google. He is patient, calm, professional and friendly and genuinely cares about his students passing, and wants them to get through. He didn't make me have too many lessons, the right number I needed to pass. He will not make you have endless lessons like some other instructors do and you will be in safe hands with Ian. I am recommending him to friends and family as he is so good and an answer to prayer. I felt like giving up at times as I had some bad experiences previously, but not with Ian. Give him a go and you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Such a great instructor I can’t be happier with choosing. I had learnt to drive in London but since tests are like gold dust there, I decided to contact Ian to see if it was possible to do my test in Ipswich. I had a lesson to see if he was happy with me borrowing his car and since I sat in the seat he’s made me the most comfortable I’ve ever been driving. He’s patient, understands mistakes and nerves, and is overall a great chat. I’ve recommended him to my boyfriend who’s yet to book a crash course with him.
