Fantastic experience: A consistently patient and clever teacher with the ability to simplify any driving manoeuvre, the 4.8 score out of 5 does not even do James justice. When it came to my test I felt confident in my skills, knowing that I could pass so long as I did everything just as I had been taught in my lessons. All in all James is a knowledgeable and calm instructor with a good sense of humour and a committed work ethic. Honestly would recommend him to anyone looking to learn how to drive.

Fantastic experience: James is a knowledgeable instructor, a patient teacher and just generally a great guy. I attempted to learn to drive with two other instructors and gave up after about 20 lessons both times as I felt I was not making any progress. James taught my partner to drive and got him through his driving test and when I realised the difference it made to our lives I knew I had to try again. After just a few lessons with James I actually began to enjoy driving, my confidence shot up and for the first time I really believed I could pass the test. His teaching methods completely simplified things that seemed complicated at first and his enthusiasm for his work and commitment to his students is incredible. Thanks to his hard work and support I managed to pass my test first time and, even though I'll miss my weekly lesson, I could not be happier. I highly recommend James as a driving instructor. If he can teach me to drive, he can teach anyone!

Fantastic experience: James is a very, very smart man. The way he simplifies and breaks down individual concepts into basic, memorable routines is amazing. I had never driven a car before, and had been putting it off for almost 10 years. After finally plucking up the courage to try it, James had me on the road and driving home by the end of my first lesson. At that point I fell in love with driving. As none of my immediate family drive, I had no extra tuition and no ability to practice outside of our lessons, but with his teaching style, James made sure that this wasn't a hindrance to me. I had my first lesson at the end of May, and had passed on the first attempt before the end of October. He had a very busy schedule, but always found time and was able to adapt to my work schedule. I cannot recommend James highly enough, he was always patient, reassuring and had a very positive outlook and attitude that made every lesson a pleasure. I was genuinely sad to finish up our lessons, as they had become the highlight of my week. I couldn't imagine a better instructor.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend James at Ezy-Pass. I started lessons with him with the intention of progressing quickly yet was very nervous. James was very supportive and his humour helped ease any tension I was feeling putting me at ease. I sat my theory after 1 month and booked my practical for 8 weeks later. Today I passed my test first time which wouldn't have been possible without him. A great car to learn in and amazing instructor to support and teach you.

Fantastic experience: I switched to james from a different instructor after seeing how well my partner was progressing each week with him, while I still couldn't do the basics even though we started taking lessons at same time. When I started with James I had a few bad habits from my previous lessons but James soon taught me the correct way and each week I progressed and became more confident. He puts in so much effort and talks through everything and makes sure you understand it completely before moving on.
