DriveEASY with Rachel

Fantastic experience: Driving didn’t come naturally to me and I was very nervous at first, but Rachel was so kind and patient with me. Rachel hit the perfect balance in getting me to step out of my comfort zone in a way that let me still stay confident and feel in control. Her explanations are always spot on, and she’s excellent at finding different ways to approach something to find a way that works for you. I had a lot of trouble dealing with nerves during my driving test, and Rachel was so helpful in thinking of ways to overcome my nerves, and also in helping me to believe in myself and in my abilities. I’m so happy to have passed my driving test, but also a little sad because I’ll miss our chats! Rachel is everything I could have asked for in a driving instructor, and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Rachel highly enough; she is an absolute professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and a natural teacher. She took me on for lessons at very short notice; I had my test booked less than 4 weeks after my first lesson, yet she managed to make space for 4 x 4 hour lessons for me leading up to my test. Rachel knew I was very nervous and lacked confidence on the road, but helped me to realise my abilities and increase my confidence through no end. I’d had lessons previously, around 8 or so years ago, but I never followed through with my test back then because I never felt like I really wanted to drive. However, Rachel taught me more in our first session than I had ever learned in 40+ hours of instruction previously, and gave me a wider understanding of the skills to be a very competent and well rounded driver. When Rachel is instructing it is always a very calm and patient environment in the car, free from stress. She has such a good understanding of the struggles and needs of all types of learners, and it’s easy to see why all her learners have such success at test by not only passing, but also with minimal faults. I passed today at my first attempt with only 2 driver faults; 6 weeks ago I barely had the confidence to drive above 10mph anywhere that wasn’t a private car park. Rachel broke down my anxiety and showed me how competent I really was when I allowed myself to be, and for that I am unbelievably grateful.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Rachel enough, especially to anxious drivers. I had a previous instructor in another city that had knocked my confidence and Rachel was so kind and helpful with working to build my confidence. She is so friendly and our chats helped make the whole experience enjoyable, and I never thought I could enjoy driving! I passed my test first time and felt ready to take it thanks to Rachel's teaching. If you want an instructor who is patient and knowledgable and creates a calm environment, and especially if you have anxiety or issues with driving confidence, this is where you want to go :)

Fantastic experience: Rachel was such a great instructor!!! I couldn't recommend her more. I came to uni and started learning with Rachel after not getting very far with my old instructor and it made such a difference. She teaches with such professionalism and is a very understanding person. Couldn't have passed without her :)

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Rachel more, after a bad experience with another instructor she helped build my confidence and simplified driving. Before I was so anxious about driving and Rachel removed all of that for me, I always felt supported and there was never any judgement. Highly recommend to people like me that are a bit more anxious; I had been told by my prior instructor that I was ‘the hardest client he ever had’ whereas Rachel got me to test in less than 6 months and I passed with zero driver faults.

Negative experience: Contacted this lady about driving lessons and she didn’t even have the common courtesy to respond. If you don’t have any availability let people know rather than ignoring the email, it’s just rude.

Fantastic experience: Came to Rachel for refresher lessons after nearly 10 years of not driving, she was great on helping me catch back up and build my confidence driving again, would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I came to racheal as a completely new learner and from then on she eased me into the first stages in driving to build my confidence without putting any pressure on me, and then gradually continued to help me work on my skills and build my confidence whilst also correcting mistakes I had been making, I had a wonderful time learning with Rachel as she made me feel so comfortable driving with her and i will always keep in mind all the tips she has given me into the future.

Fantastic experience: An amazing driving instructor with lots of patience never made me feel pressured when doing anything and a lot of knowledge with teaching so is something not right she has always got a solution and overall a fantastic instructor

Fantastic experience: I came to Rachel after having lessons and a test with a different instructor. I failed due to not being ready and my nerves getting the better of me. Rachel was very understanding and patient with my nerves and mistakes. She retaught me everything I needed to know and some things I didn’t know ! her positive friendly attitude helped calm my nerves and get my threw to my test. Fantastic experience: Rachel is an incredible instructor, I was with a different instructor at first and had failed 3 tests however I contacted Rachel and from the moment Rachel took me on I could already feel my confidence growing. The way Rachel takes time to explain situations and helps you learn from them whilst building confidence throughout is amazing, I would recommend Rachel to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. Fantastic experience: I had such a good experience with Rachel, having previously had an instructor who left me with no confidence in my driving skills, I feel like I am now a completely different driver. I would have never expected to pass with zero faults and I definitely would not have been able to do it without Rachel’s constant support and encouragement!

Fantastic experience: Coming from having a couple of different instructors and already failed one test, I had doubts about my own driving skills, and was a little nervous behind the wheel. But then Rachel appeared like a guardian angel and guided me with compassion, appreciation and professionalism to a Pass with only 1 fault! Fantastic experience: Rachel is an incredible driving instructor, I had really bad anxiety when starting out with her but she was so calm and lovely that I felt comfortable almost straight away! I passed with only 1 minor due to her amazing teaching. For anyone that’s feeling slightly more nervous about driving, I definitely recommend Rachel. :)
