Fantastic experience: An amazing instructor, I was with him for 18 months and he was completely understanding about my medical condition as I suffer from adhd and cerebral palsy which can be daunting for anyone who want to learn to drive, he gives clear instructions and puts you straight at easy, on first contact with him he told us if I needed to use an automatic he would advice another instructor which I didn’t need in the end, after two attempts I passed second time, I would highly recommend to everyone, he puts 100% into every student and I wouldn’t have gone with anyone else!

Fantastic experience: As an older learner (30ish) I probably didn't have the confidence of a younger person. Richard was great, made me feel at ease and more than able. I passed first time!!!! He also taught my husband who passed 5 years ago. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Couldn't have asked for a better instructor, explains everything really clearly, is very patient and never gets frustrated if you don't grasp a concept straight away, will honestly tell you when you are/aren't ready for your test so you don't waste money booking it too early, very good confidence booster, as he will calm you down again if you fail your test and he'll make you feel so much better about it! Fairly priced against other driving instructors, who can be known to charge upwards of £60 on the day of your test. Also, he won't get you to have lessons for the sake of it, if he thinks you don't need any more lessons until your test he'll say so, and so you won't be having your money wasted there either! Great pass rates, he's passed practically all of my family and I was the only one to pass second time! I couldn't stress enough how much of a great instructor he is!

He was very patient when I found something challenging, and was also willing to explain something multiple of times until I understood. A very genuine man, who was very easy to get along with, and he will always fit your lessons in, in the best way that will accommodate you. Would really recommend Richard Mason as a driving instructor.

I am so thankful that I chose to have my driving lessons with Richard at Mason school of motoring. Richard is honestly a remarkable teacher and always goes to great lengths to ensure that his pupils are safe and comfortable. He is a very patient instructor, who takes as much time as you need and provides different approaches to learning, to ensure that you fully understand what you are being taught. A great confidence giver, so that no matter how many mistakes you make, you will never lose trust in your ability and has a great sense of humour, ensuring that your lessons are always enjoyable and a laugh. He has made learning to drive a great experience, and I will miss him and our lessons together! I would fully recommend anyone learning to drive, to use him as their instructor.
