Fantastic experience: Darrell is an incredible instructor. Not only does he focus on what’s needed to pass a test, he teaches how to drive safely once having passed. Also, it was good how he slowly built up to harder areas of driving, not approaching them until I was ready. I feel like it has benefitted me to get weekly motorway practice, driving back from Stevenage. Without this, I’m sure many drivers would feel nervous before going out without dual controls for the first time. I appreciated how organised Darrell is with booking in further lessons. I passed my test first time with just a few minor faults because of nerves. If you’re up for an entertaining and skilled driving instructor who applies the rules of the road to real life safety, choose Darrell.

Fantastic experience: Darrell is a great driving instructor. After having a handful of lessons in London before COVID, I moved to Hertfordshire and basically had to start again. Darrell has a great approach, making you feel at ease and helping build up your confidence. By the time I did my test, I felt well prepared and passed first time. Darrell also has a great sense of humour, which helps calm your nerves and makes the lessons fly by. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: After having used a couple of different driving instructors, Darrell is definitely the best. He was always very clear when teaching, and made me feel at ease which was difficult to do as I was a very anxious driver at the start. Whenever I messed up he would make me laugh and take my mind off of the mistake I had made, and then teach me to make sure I don’t do the same thing again. He taught me in the way that I responded to the best, and encouraged me to push on through no matter how much I moaned about driving a manual car. Now I have passed, I am a confident and competent driver - thank you so much for everything you did for me Darrell, I could not have done it without you.
