Negative experience: Jonny was initially a great driving instructor but unfortunately he ghosted me about halfway through the course I'd paid for, without any explanation. I have made multiple attempts to contact him via phone and email over the last 5 weeks, to no avail. I was really enjoying the lessons and I don't understand what's happened. He's left me in the lurch and he owes me a refund for lessons not provided. I can see he's been active on Facebook and going to Halloween parties! Really disappointed and now in the position of having to pursue legal action. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: Very disappointed, just stopped turning up when a lesson was booked. No communication and no reply to texts and phone calls

Fantastic experience: Great instructor. Very patient and calm. Easy to get on which helps you to relax. Explains everything well to you and breaks it down in to parts so it's easier for you to understand. Doesn't get frustrated when he has go keep going over the same thing again. Would totally recommend, helped build my confidence and get over my nerves about driving. which helped me pass first time. Can not thank Jonny enough. Top instructor.

Fantastic experience: Jonny is a brilliant instructor and if you want the best chance to pass first time like myself then Jonny is the instructor you’re looking for. He calmly talked me through tricky situations no matter how many times I made the same mistake! With a dual controlled car I felt safe knowing that Jonny had control and could slam on the anchors if necessary. This is exactly what happened to me when I tried to join a roundabout while cars where in the ‘danger zone’, the dual control prevented us from having an accident. Jonny carries with him a book with extensive colourful diagrams so that throughout the lesson he can demonstrate the theory behind a manoeuvre before practising it for real in the car. At the beginning of each lesson Jonny would give a recap of what we did in the previous lesson followed by a debrief at the end of the lesson. I was at test standard with only 25 hours of lessons with this instructor having only sat in the driving seat for the first time 3 months prior to my test. I’m looking forward to have some night time driving and motorway post-test lessons with Jonny soon! Meanwhile I’ll be looking at buying my first car and driving independently this weekend!

Fantastic experience: Johnny is absolutely an great instructor, I wish I’d learned to drive with him right at the beginning. I would definitely recommend him because he was patient and calm when I made mistakes, and always provide very detailed advices. highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Gifted driving instructor with great calmness and patience, most importantly he always praises your improvement and gently corrects your errors rather than criticising your silly mistakes, this is great for learners to build up confidence. I am a very cautious person, criticism only makes me more nervous and do more silly things, but with him, I was very relaxed and focused on improving my driving skills rather than trying hard to prevent mistakes. I just passed my test today! I recommend him to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I booked a lesson with JDrive after loosing confidence driving at roundabouts since passing my test. After my lesson with Jonathan, my confidence was really boosted and I felt much happier tackling roundabouts. I can't thank Jonathan enough.
