I'll Drive

Negative experience: Poor quality instruction. Unnecessary braking, late signalling, no rear view mirror for instructor. The drivers don’t stand a chance of being truly qualified due to the poor performance of their instructor

Fantastic experience: Passed my test yesterday! Had an amazing 20 hrs lesson with Dean F. He did such an amazing job- thorough and patient instructor and he trusted me more than I trust myself. Thank you so much Dean!!!

Fantastic experience: After moving to Wales and having driven for over 40 years in the U.S. I had to take a driving test to obtain a UK driving licence. Kevin Riley was brilliant in helping me accomplish this. Very patient and understanding of my particular situation. I would highly recommend Kevin!

Fantastic experience: I was lucky to get Kevin Riley as an instructor. Patient, friendly and easy to communicate with. He helped me build up confidence and with corrected approach and attitude, I was able to pass my test in first go, he would go out of the way to accommodate his pupil. Highly recommend specially for new drivers. With the app by I'll Drive, it was very easy and convenient to book and keep track of all sessions and payments.

Negative experience: Never showed up fir thd lesson 3 weeks in z row, excuse after excuse. Terrible communication really unreliable don't bother.

Fantastic experience: I was originally learning with Jen and then had Jo, both are amazing, so patient and I’d heard great things from other people too. Honestly couldn’t have done it without them.

Fantastic experience: My Instructor was Jo. I have been learning with Jo for over 2 years and I could not recommend a better instructor to learn to drive with if you have anxiety or are just a nervous driver in general. She is incredibly patient and I felt comfortable making mistakes (even dumb ones). After having Jo as my instructor, I feel I have the skills and knowledge to drive in everyday life and not just to pass the test.

Fantastic experience: I am extremely happy with my experience with Dai from start to finish. He is everything you need in an instructor and more. I am older than the average learner at 36 and have anxiety and memory issues from a road bicycle accident a few years ago where I hit my head so I was nervous to say the least on the roads. Dai found ways to teach me that helped calm me and worked around my issues. He was very thoughtful, patient and understanding and worked hard to help. He was easy to communicate with, always replied to my messages when I had questioned via texts and even helped me plan what to do when I had a test coming up and he himself had covid. Can't recommend him and his company more.

Fantastic experience: After failing my test 3 times with another motoring school, I found I'll drive and went with Sandra. It took a while to rid me of my bad habits but she was always very patient and calm. I was awful at parking, after my last instructor told me, "it will just come to you", without ever showing me how. Sandra walked me through reverse parking, was clear and concise and I haven't had problems since. Tests always made me nervous, but about a fortnight before my test, I had a mock test with one of the other instructors. I feel this really helped calm my nerves and show my potential on the day. I passed first time with I'll Drive. I would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Just seen an instructor hang out of his window while on a lesson with a young girl and argue with another driver..should of risen above it
