Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend this driving school! I’ve had an absolute blast with Debbie during my 5 day course. Originally starting very with minimal knowledge and experience, Debbie has taught me everything I need to know to ensure I’m safe on the road. This experience has enabled me to grow confidence and skills as a new driver, which has come from Debbie’s tremendous teaching and guidance. Her incredible ability to explain aspects of driving meant that I’ve been able to learn through numerous methods that helped me personally, including demonstrations and verbal support. In terms of the car’s environment, Debbie makes the car feel like a safe space to express yourself, wether it be concerns about a new manoeuvre or some nervousness about driving on busier roads. Debbie herself is lovely to be with, she’s funny and chill as well as motivating and very understanding. My experience has been fantastic, tank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend anyone to use Debbie as there instructor, I had no prior driving experience before commencing my 4 day course. I was nervous & letting my anxiety take over at some points yet she constantly reassured me and showed amazing patience and understanding & also methods to help me stay calm and safe while operating the car. Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I am not surprised at all that Debbie has recieved nothing but 5 star reviews on here! I initially started my driving with Utah, at Elliot Motor Driving in Nottingham and hadn't realised how bad those lessons were until I met Debbie and started learning with Know Limits Driver Training. I did a 5 day crash course and passed the second time with flying colours! I highly recommend Debbie who is amazing at teaching safe driving with patience's and understanding. Whether it's through giving clear instruction and concise instruction, drawing diagrams or by giving practical examples, Debbie will find a way to see what teaching method works for you and will ensure you are driver ready not just for the test but even after that. Fantastic experience: Debbie is a great, upfront instructor that will help you get test ready quickly. I've passed today after a 5 day, 30 hour course (and some private instruction before that). The car (100% electric and automatic Nissan leaf) is a pleasure to drive and deffinitely also makes the process easier and more enjoyable, as well as Debbie's brilliant instruction. Fantastic experience: I spent a long time learning to drive manual and never properly got to grips with it, eventually I came to the decision to switch to automatic as I lost hope of ever passing in a manual car and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I went from thinking I may never be on the road to passing my test in a short amount of time thanks to Debbie's excellent skills as an instructor and I am thoroughly grateful. She is very easy to talk to and is supportive which I think is extremely important when it comes to choosing a driving instructor. Fantastic experience: After struggling with manual driving, and having had several manual instructors I decided to try automatic, and I'm so glad I did and found Debbie, I can honestly say she is the best instructor that I've had, from being a nervous wreck on my first lesson, to passing first time, she is also fun to be in the car with and makes you feel at ease as soon as you get in, and you can always have a good laugh while learning, her theory lessons are also a great help and helped put my mind at ease with a lot of stuff, I can't recommend Debbie enough to anyone learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: After trying ages to find an automatic driving instructor i stumbled upon Know limits and after reading the fantastic reviews decided to give it a go and im so glad i did! Debbie is the most amazing instructor and being someone who started off with very little confidence she made me feel confident and comfortable within the very first lesson! Shes very patient,kind and knowledgeable with such a great personality and makes every lesson a very enjoyable experience! Fantastic experience: Debbie is very comforting especially when giving you the instructions and knowledge you need to pass your practical test, didn't think I was going to pass until practicing and following the instructions that she gave me. Fantastic experience: Well what can I say Debbie u are the best driving instructor ever, 4 years ago when I left u I thought I could never find another  instructor like u  I waited all this time  and then one day she puts a post that's she is now doing automatic I was so happy .....yes  yes ... i got in contact with her she could not believe I waited all this time but I did. Sometimes I could not get the maneuvers and the over taking was a killer for me but every lesson she was so calm so nice always saying the right words at the right time I now past my test I'm still in cloud nine I can't believe it I've done. Fantastic experience: After going through the nightmare of finding an automatic driving instructor Debbie accommodated my crazy schedule with a full time job and three kids. As an experienced driver, she was able to cater the lessons to my specific needs, focusing on making me more comfortable with UK driving and safety rules and passing my test. She was friendly and kind and has an amazing heart. You can tell she genuinely loves her job and making a difference in people’s lives. And of course I passed my test first time around! She schedules it and everything which made my life that little bit less stressful which made a huge differerence to me! Highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn to drive safely and pass their test!!

Fantastic experience: Debbie is the most amazing instructor! I just passed my test today and I even remember the first day I could only drive at 8 miles per hour. Debbie really helps me to build confidence and go over everything I struggled until I felt I could handle it well. Sometimes I made really silly mistakes (even I want to punch myself!!), Debbie is always patient and guides me step by step. The progress report after each lesson also helped me to improve. Debbie is not only an excellent driving instructor but also a best friend, she didn’t just teach me how to pass the test but the knowledge of driving, which makes me super calm and confident behind the wheels. I will also miss the wonderful electric car and lovely Hector, he is a cute boy always supporting me on the back seat:) Thanks Debbie!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for an automatic driving instructor, look no further! Debbie is just the best! She is patient, calm and invested in her students. Her aim is to make you a confident and safe driver and she will do whatever it takes to get you there! I never thought I would pass my test having had 8 years off from driving lessons but Debbie made it possible. I even passed first time! Her electric car is also a dream to drive and makes learning all the more fun :)

Fantastic experience: Before I came to Debbie, I had a lot of lessons with a different instructor. I soon realised how much knowledge I was lacking and was so pleased I got in contact with Debbie. She taught me so much that my previous instructor hadn’t. Debbie was very good at explaining things both with driving and the theory side of things. I also struggled with nerves but bit by bit I felt more confident with my driving as Debbie was so supportive and friendly! Debbie made driving enjoyable and when I was in the car, after time, I felt comfortable and in control with my driving. Since passing my test and driving around, I miss Debbie’s positivity. I now realise how much confidence and support she gave me! Debbie was also very professional as each lesson we spoke about my goals and what had happened in the lesson. This was then emailed to me so I always knew what we will be doing next lesson and what I had learnt. If you want to actually learn to drive properly instead of using cheats and memorising test routes, with Debbie you will learn to understand the car, use your own judgement and enjoy driving. Fantastic experience: 1st time pass 10.4.2017 I passed my test 1st time at Watnall with Debbie's Know Limits Driving School. From start to finish, she instilled nothing but confidence and on arrival, I felt happy and ready for my test. Every lesson was pure fun and she is encouraging all the time. Before Debbie, at 22, I had never even sat in the driver's seat of a car before and I will truly miss the adventures and fun we used to have in the car together. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing I returned to learning to drive after an almost 5-year break, and I could not have asked for a better instructor. Debbie makes you feel so comfortable behind the wheel. She will always speak belief into you and the only criticism you receive is constructive. This is not a standard service, Debbie will email you a report after every lesson stating your progress and where you need to go next to improve. She also has other little extras such as a facebook group where she will post advice for her students. Here you can also drop a message anytime if you are unsure about anything. She isn't just trying to teach you to pass a test like some instructors, Debbie will teach you how to drive in the real world! By the time you pass your test, or even far before, you will not only feel that you have found a great driving instructor, but also a great friend

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Debbie is great. I would recommend her to anyone. I was so stressed out with driving, I had a test 20 years ago so I was like learning a old dog new tricks. But she was brilliant helped me loads with my over thinking things My confidence grew and I passed 13th October. The progress reports that she does at the end of each lesson is brilliant proper help me. Look no further this is the best driving instructor going.

Fantastic experience: Debbie is an amazing person & instructor! While you are stressed and scared of driving; you will find her calming you down and taking away all the stress that you have! Before I start with her I had a male instructor who was horrible made me hate driving and hate his driving lessons and made me lose my confidence although I was driving for more than 14 years in a different country and I just need to know the rules and get used to the right hand driving! From the first day with Debbie I started to gain back my confidence and she explained all the rules in a very simple way! I actually never felt that I'm not happy during the driving lesson she is so friendly and nice! And above all that she is so honest she will never extend the lessons to gain money! You will pay exactly for the lessons you need. Thanks Debbie for such a great experience and for me driving safely with a full driving license in U.K. Since April 2015.

Fantastic experience: Having been learning to drive for many years, I started lessons at the beginning of this year with Know Limits. I have never been a confident or comfortable driver (I actually hated it!) but Debbie's friendly and supportive style helped ease my nerves and grow both my confidence and ability. This resulted in her succeeding where many other instructors failed and me passing my practical driving test. I would give the highest possible recommendation for Debbie/Know Limits, she has been most supportive of me and the boost to my confidence has positively effected my life as a whole, not just my driving. Fantastic experience: Passed 15/03/2016 Friendly, conscientious, thorough driving instructor I just passed my test for the first time and I can honestly say Debbie is the best instructor for the job! She explains things clearly and in detail, and gives you all the tips and help to turn you into a great driver. This includes step-by-step plans and demonstrations of manoeuvres, rules of general driving, and over all knowledge of the roads. With Debbie you will also fill out a progress log after each lesson, entailing what you have done in the lesson, what you need to improve on and how you will do this. You may also get 'homework', such as to research a manoeuvre or road situation you are unsure of, or she may suggest practicing if you have another car you can use, such as your parent's. I also had a theory lesson with Debbie, where I did a mock theory test and we discussed tricky questions and tips for the test; I feel this really helped my nerves and confidence. As well as a driving instructor, Debbie will also become a good friend. Supportive, friendly - brilliant!

Fantastic experience: Debbie is a great instructor who can bring out the potential of anybody willing to give her teachings a go - I passed with Know Limits in January 2016. My lessons with Know Limits were always fun, and lighthearted but at the same time challenging, I always came away from a lesson as a better driver with a little more experience on the roads than before. Her teaching methods aren't conventional and she adapts to the kind of learner you are, if you're a visual learner she will show you and if you're a kinesthetic learner she will give you the reins and direct you. I think Know Limits represents the standard of tuition which other businesses won't be offering for another 5-10 years, and this is purely down to Debbie and her dedication to the brand and her students.

Fantastic experience: For anyone who wants a loving, caring, organised, and calm instructor, Debbie (Know Limits Driving School) will be your one and only choice. Driving is hard for me but Debbie never once lost her cool. I don’t know anyone who is that composed under some quite dangerous situations that I managed during my lessons. She is NEVER impatient, aggressive, threatening or passive-aggressive. Even my supposedly great professor of husband cannot pull that one off!! Every lesson is documented with notes and goal for the next lesson. Progress reports are sent so you know where you stand. The only complain I have with Debbie is that, her schedule is always full! You need to book your lessons early and fast, otherwise the only possibility to get extra time is someone else’s cancellation. Debbie is definitely not the cheapest instructor, but I’d much rather pay for a great instructor and get on. In hindsight, it remains a great decision that I’ve made from the very beginning. I passed on the first go on 18 December 2015

Fantastic experience: My name's Liam, I passed with Debbie on 22nd December 2015. If you're looking for a calm, patient and supportive instructor, look no further I was extremely nervous about learning to drive, as my nerves have always gotten the better of me, but I always felt safe with Debbie sat right next to me. She is 100% supportive, a great laugh and above all totally patient, which for me is a big plus, as I never felt like I was being rushed, nor did I feel like I was being held back. She explained everything clearly and concisely. Looking back on my time in the car, I think my fondest memory was during a 6 hour lesson, here, we took a drive through Chesterfield, Buxton and Castleton, the latter being my favourite as I had visited here with school year ago and could not remember the name of the place. If you're just starting your lessons or if you are not happy with your current instructor and are looking for someone new, Debbie is the woman for the job, she didn't just teach me how to pass my test, but how to drive! Thank you for all your support, patience and for all the laughs Debs, I couldn't have done it without you :-)

Fantastic experience: If you are stuck on choosing what driving school to learn with, Know Limits has to be the one to choose. Debz is absolutely amazing. She is so calm and makes you feel really relaxed. She is also extremely supportive and considerate of your situation. She is the best driving instructor out there. I have passed my test and was gutted to stop lessons, Debz will become your friend as well as your instructor. You would be silly not to choose her as your instructor.

Fantastic experience: If you want to pass your driving test you need Debbie at Know Limits Driving School! Debbie is the most amazing instructor. If you're not convinced after my review then book a lesson to see for yourself. Debbie understands that not everyone learns in the same way and adapts accordingly. She will explain things verbally, point things out on her iPad or driving books or demo them whilst explaining what she is doing as you watch. Whatever method you as an indiviual needs to understand. She will cover things over and over and over again until you get it, without making you feel silly or stupid. I ask questions about EVERYTHING and not once did Debbie lose patience or shout at me. I couldn't say the same about my previous two instructors. Debbie makes driving so much easier by the methods she teaches. You'll be doing 'ninja steering' and 'keeping left for normal driving' and have observations down to a T. You will also know exactly where you are in your progress as Debbie provides reports after every lesson which she emails to you. You will also have an overall report showing what you can do independently, what needs more work and what is yet to be introduced. I thought this was great because not only will you know when you're test ready but it also makes you more confident when you can see in black and white how much you can do/how little you have left to cover. She asks for your input on what to cover in the next lesson and you also get to write how your think the lesson went. This is another way you can track how you're doing and see how far you've progressed. Debbie made me, a nervous and anxious person, feel at ease by talking to me and having a laugh with me during my lessons. Before Know Limits I lacked confidence and had been put in for a test before I was ready by an instructor who just wanted to get rid of me. I really can't believe the leaps and bounds I've made with my driving. In fact, I passed my test on 08/04/16 with 1 minor! It is all thanks to Debbie! (although she won't want to take the credit) My fiancé chose Know Limits Driving School for me and I'm SO glad he did because not only did I get an amazing, patient, lovely, caring, hilarious driving instructor, but I got a friend. Book a lesson with Know Limits and see for yourself! Worth every single penny and more!
