1st Class Solutions ( Yorkshire )

Fantastic experience: Recently joined 1st Class Solutions to undertake all five CPC sessions. Paul the facilitator was very professional in his delivery, knowledgeable makes it an enjoyable experience a very relaxed environment to be in. This to me was the way to learn. Free drinks and BISCUITS what’s not to like!

Fantastic experience: I did my B+E course a few years back when it was mandatory. Fantastic course with good instructor. Very good value for money!

Negative experience: Company is a complete waste of space and Paul is a bare faced lair. Ordered some critical forms we needed on a Thursday with an ASAP request and didn't even bother posting them by the Monday three days after I'd emailed to ask if theyd been posted he bothered to reply to me telling me they'd been posted and at the point I told him he'd be receiving negative feedback so he cancelled the order the following day to stop me from being able to leave the feedback. So in reality he hadnt even posted the docs a whole 5 days later. I'd avoid the company full stop he's a liar that's cost me money. Ok when they're taking your money but not interested in sending the goods.

Negative experience: UPDATE IN RESPONSE FROM THE FIRMS ANSWER: the comments which I received were as I have typed them here, them comments were not light hearted and personally myself and a lot of other people would not accept the cheekiness, and sarcastic comments made by you. You should be professional at your job and not ‘assume’ you know other peoples ability. Saying that I am just like a ‘typical farmer’ doesn’t sound very pro does it? There maybe some erratic drivers but I certainly don’t think I am one. Go Driving we’re more than professional, at the same time they were chatty and really wanted to get to know you. I had also been in touch with four other firms for a course which they all were really helpful and kind. They also didn’t assume that because I’ve driven heavy agricultural machinery I was a over confident driver. Maybe think about how words come out before you decide to speak. I rang up to ask about their 1 day course as I had experience pulling a trailer, and claimed they weren’t doing it as it was too intensive. When they knew I had driven trailers on a farm they immediately said that I would need more training as I was apparently used to ‘sticking my head out the window’ and ‘you farming lot don’t use brake away cables and never use mirrors’. These comments put me off booking with them, and I further searched and found a brilliant training centre called Go Driving! They were brilliant and very accommodating for any type of person wanting to get their license. Go Driving had a 1 day (9-3pm) intensive course followed by the test in the afternoon which I passed! Fancy that… The Go Driving instructors were very pleased with my driving and said that I was careful and attentive. I assume driver training yorkshire doesn’t have time for people who already have experience and I would use them at your own risk. Maybe they only do 2-3 day courses to make more money off their customers?

Fantastic experience: I used 1st class solutions to purchase vehicle inspection & maintenance planner online, delivery took a couple of days longer than usual due to an error I made when filling in the delivery address, but they were able to rectify it quickly & the customer service was great. definitely use them again.

Fantastic experience: Unique opportunity to share a review prior to getting 'my outcome' and during lock down. Paul and the team did some covid safe training with me early in winter but a November lock down prevented me taking the test on 5th November. Paul handled this brilliantly rebooting for late decelmber but A further covid complication at my end needed a reschedule then sadly locldown came around again disrupting my test again. Throughout this process Paul has kept intouch and professional and I did receive excellent tuition. I very much look forward to taking my test soon. His training is also very good value too when compared to another local guy who had appauling communication but was closer. I have zero affiliation with this company and this is just feedback from great service.

Fantastic experience: I don't have a bad word to say, the service provided was excellent end to end, from the very first contact Paul was great, he advised me on what the best course was based on my experience, what to expect during the training and test. Revision material was provided before I attended which proved useful in giving me a head start before the course. During the course I found Paul easy to get on with (we had a few laughs), his instruction on the reversing manoeuvres, road driving and ask me/show me questions was spot on. The quality of the car, trailer and practice/test centre/area was excellent . All in all a brilliant service experience at very reasonable prices, I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to acquire their B+E.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my CPC training with Paul, the first couple of sessions were at the training centre and due to the Covid19 crisis, the remaining sessions were conducted via Zoom. The quality of the training was outstanding, and I can't recommend 1st Class Solutions enough.

Well thought through, well presented, very informative. All points are broken down into respectable chunks, the floor is always open to debate and questions if you do not quiet understand it. Fantastic experience: Fantastic company to deal with ! Needing a full 5 day (35hrs) to renew my CPC during Covid-19 lockdown I researched all available online providers and came across 1st Class Solutions on Facebook. I contacted Paul and was surprised with the speed of his response, so I paid up and sat my 5 days in one week, best value I could find at £50 a day including upload to DVSA. As for course content I personally couldn’t fault his presentation and control of the candidates considering that everyone was in their home environment. I must say that I was very sceptical prior to the course but that was a big underestimation of a how well prepared Paul was, yes there was some glitches with candidates connections but nothing to stop a smooth and professional presentation. So to conclude, Paul Hume and 1st class solutions are a credible and professional business that has the candidates best interests at heart And I would recommend anyone in need of their type of service to get in touch ASAP! You will not regret it, once again many thanks.

Fantastic experience: Given the situation and the planning, government hoops and obstacles needed to overcome current regulations on CPC training, to put a course like this into a digital format and co-ordinate, run and follow up each candidate using virtual meeting software is no easy feat. To do it in the face of imminent hardship and livelihood demonstrates dedication, integrity, ingenuity, and astute business sense with the will to assist those up against the same brick wall. Fantastic experience: I attended the online CPC driver training course, with 1st Class Solutions (Yorkshire) using the Zoom interactive Software. The course consisted of a number of students and, one tutor utilising a live online-feed over a 5 day period. The punctuality and timings of each module enabled the student to log-on at a specific time, within their home environment. This presented a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for each student as well as the tutor.The course structure, content and the methods of the tutor’s delivery were outstanding. The pace, learning ability and structure of each module were excellent and the enthusiasm presented by the tutor was brilliant. I strongly believe that, all students regardless of their learning ability, and, the teaching method of the online tuition utilised by 1st Class Solutions (Yorkshire) during, this current pandemic were able to receive, all the necessary instruction, training and information that would be required if, the course was presented within a normal classroom environment. So, congratulations and thank you to Paul Hume (Tutor) for an outstanding and highly recommended course for, any individual who requires to continue with their professional CPC qualification. Simon.

Fantastic experience: I had the 4 hour training plus B + E test the next morning. The training was very well structured and really concentrated on the bad points I had picked up driving without a trailer. All in all, i'd definitely recommend 1st class Solutions if you need further driver training.

Fantastic experience: Paul from 1st Class Solutions was excellent when I recently completed my B+E trailer test in order to be able to tow our new caravan. The training was rather intense but brought me up to test standard very quickly resulting in a first time pass. The price was considerably lower than quoted by other providers, the standard of tuition higher than some of our other experiences and they also have their own private training yard for manoeuvres. Could not recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Did my D+E license training and test through 1st Class solutions as I had upgraded my car and could no longer legally tow my caravan. 1st Class solutions really are 1st class. A very professionally run business would not hesitate to recommend them to others
