Fantastic experience: I passed my test today first time and with one driving fault thanks to Daniel! Six months ago I'd never even sat in the driver's seat of a car before. Daniel adapted his teaching to suit my learning style, and I always felt safe and comfortable in the car with him (even when I was crying - I am a bit of a nervous driver and also a huge perfectionist!). He has lots of tips and tricks to help make driving and manoeuvres as simple as possible, and is so knowledgeable and skilled at what he does! I still remember the first time he showed me how to parallel park, and he did it while sat in the passenger seat . He's supportive, has a great sense of humour and really goes out of his way to help. I am so grateful to have been his student and I will miss our drives and chats together (and his fabulous car)! Thank you so much Daniel

Fantastic experience: Before I started driving lessons, I wouldn't even sit in the driver's seat. As a VERY nervous driver, Daniel helped me feel calm and took away my fears to unlock a skill I didn't know I had. Daniels very calm approach helped massively and no question was a silly question. A very good teacher, especially if you're feeling nervous about driving. I would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very patient! As an older learner I was very nervous however Daniel put me at ease as well as giving great lessons he backs them up sharing useful videos and personalised reminders. Always put me at ease and found ways to turn mistakes into learning opportunities. Very flexible with schedule as I work shifts. Excellent value and very fair pricing structure, regular reminders by Whattsapp of upcoming appointments. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending.

Fantastic experience: Dan is the most excellent driving instructor I could have ever dreamed to work with! After learning how to drive in the USA at age 17, I was quite nervous to drive in the UK at age 25, but Dan instantly put me at ease and I truly looked forward to my lessons with him. Dan is a calming presence in the car and instills confidence in his students. I really enjoyed his teaching style. When I made a mistake, Dan would calmly and clearly explain the mistake and we would both reflect upon what could be improved for next time. Dan goes the extra mile for his students, for example having a meet and greet before starting lessons to get a feel for the car and sending lovely words of wisdom before the test. I could not recommend Dan enough! I am very happy to say that through Dan’s guidance I passed my test first time!

Fantastic experience: I made it to 48 without the need for a driver's licence, however a decline in health and desire to move to a rural location made it a must have for me. I wasn't an eager student and was hugely nervous about being behind the wheel, however, Daniel made my learning experience fun, safe and rewarding. Fantastic experience: Before Daniel I had tried a couple of driving instructors but they didn't feel right. I was quite nervous about starting driving but knew it was something I wanted to achieve. As soon as I met Daniel, he put me at ease, and continued to do that for the 7 months I was learning. Fantastic experience: Daniel is probably one of the best driving instructors, not only in York but also in the UK. I'm so happy that I found him on Google as I was looking for a highly qualified, but also friendly & patient driving instructor, with great reviews from previous students. During the sessions, Daniel taught me all the skills & information required for the Driving Test, and how to drive safely and responsibly. He was always professional, and punctual to the lessons. He supported me very patiently whenever I did mistakes while driving. I passed my driving test on my first attempt with only 4 minors. I couldn't imagine to do this without Daniel's great help! Fantastic experience: Daniel is a brilliant driving instructor. I'd been dreaming about driving for 31 years and decided now was the time. I was a nervous, mature learner and lacked confidence in my own ability. Daniel put me at ease, knew how to get the best out of me during each lesson and remained constantly calm (even during my stress moments whilst parking!). I passed first time. Negative experience: Honestly everyone has their own experiences. But I found his way of teaching very patronising. When I failed my test he said I should focus on my studies instead he was insensitive towards the matter seems more money driven then actually wanting me to pass. I got the impression he couldn’t be bothered to teach me, or had no faith or confidence. He basically insinuted driving wasn’t for me and I shouldn’t waste any more money, the most disencouraging instructor I’ve met.

Fantastic experience: Daniel is the complete package as a driving instructor for students of all skill levels. Every lesson was time well spent with great structure which identified my weak points in my driving while also polishing the rest of my skills ready for test day. I passed first time despite having a 5 month gap in my learning due to lockdown test delays, with two lessons the week before being all it took to get me back upto speed!

Fantastic experience: I am really very lucky that i found Daniel in this very tight and tough situation. Got my test date after a long wait due to covid and when i got it, it was totally a different city. I live in Scarborough but DVLA gave me test date for York. I was not taking any lessons due to lock down. Went to York for a whole day driving lesson before my test. I was not very sure that i can make it but the way Daniel helped me in learning things quickly i was amazed. I am happy that i made it in my very first attempt.I can guarantee you that this guy is very professional and knows every bit of the game. So i will definitely recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic! Daniel took me on last minute and helped me to advance my driving in no time at all! He was extremely accommodating and really put his all into helping me however he could to pass! Fantastic experience: Passed today with Daniel. Had a few driving instructors that just seemed to be hostile/demanding, yet Daniel was always calm and measured in his approach to teaching me. This in turn made me more comfortable behind the wheel. We had a few covid cancellations but we got there in the end!

Fantastic experience: I learnt with Daniel over the latter part of 2019, taking (and passing) my test in January 2020. The lessons are great as they are suited around your weak points, so there is no wasted time on parts you have already grasped. I would highly recommend Daniel to anybody looking for lessons. Fantastic experience: Passed just last week and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Always incredibly helpful, good at explaining things and always willing to adapt to my way of understanding. I initially struggled to understand the flow of roundabouts so we changed to a different method and I then understood. The resources provided were incredibly helpful and allowed me to prepare for the lesson in advance and also helped when I was practising outside of lessons.
