Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Paul he is amazing! After nearly giving up with manual after been told I couldn’t do it I finally decided to try one last time and I couldn’t have found a better instructor! Paul is patient, professional and always on time if not early! I passed 1st time and I couldn’t thank him enough for his determination, I will definitely be recommending him to all family and friends!

Fantastic experience: Paul was super patient with me. I struggle with anxiety, so I have been learning to drive since I was 17. At age 25 I changed instructor to Paul. His patience, banter, and overall lovely attitude eased my anxiety behind the wheel. If you want a thorough instructor, Paul is for you. First time pass with 3 minors. Thanks Paul you legend!

Fantastic experience: Recently passed my driving test 1st time. Have been doing lessons on and off for a few years with various different instructors which I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere with however my brother recommended Paul. Paul is a patient,calm and pleasant. communicates well during your lesson and answers any questions you may have. Paul gave me a rough estimate timeframe to when I would be ready for my test, even though covid affected me doing driving lessons we still met that goal. Fantastic experience: Paul is a brilliant instructor, he’s patient and keeps calm. He was always on time and used lesson times wisely, I never felt like I hadn’t learnt something or come away feeling like the lessons weren’t worth it. He makes use of an iPad and a whiteboard to explain junctions and roads etc. which I found a lot easier to understand because you can visually understand what he is saying, rather than just speaking about it. On his website, he has ‘Show me Tell me’ questions and these are useful to revise from because it explains how to answer it. I passed my test second time round, and we went through the test route in lesson time and practiced what went wrong. We’ll be going through the pass plus scheme which I’m looking forward to. I’d definitely recommend Paul for an instructor, I’m so pleased with the lessons I’ve received.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Paul I passed my test first time today. Driving lessons with Paul have been brilliant, he never lets me down and is always on time and often early. He is always very calm and reassuring even when I was panicking. Fantastic experience: I found Paul's technique of using a whiteboard to draw out a junction that i struggled with especially useful; actually having a visual aid to see what I had done wrong and how I could improve very useful. The times where also very flexible and where easily changed if for some reason I could not make the usual slot. All round nice guy who explains things in a clear and concise way.

Fantastic experience: I chose Paul as my driving instructor as he had been highly recommended to me by friends and members of my own family and also his website was really appealing and easy to use. In my first driving lesson Paul made me feel really comfortable and at ease, he talked through it step by step so it made it really easy for me to understand. The lessons throughout were always relaxed and fun and Paul was really helpful and patient if I didn't understand something first time. I will be highly recommending '1st Car School of Motoring' to anyone wanting to learn how to drive.

Negative experience: Dissapointed definantly took a little advantage as was a nervous first time. Took me on all long country roads started round abouts before getting used to junctions and pulling out was unhappy and hated doing them. Had to start pretty much from beginning with my new instructor. He was great for someone else I know that's why this is so disappointing. Must say he is cheaper than some others I've had a quote from. Gained so much more confidence elsewhere. Paul Is very flexible though and fit me in straight away

Fantastic experience: Paul is a great instructor, who had come highly recommended by several friends who had passed with him previously. After a few lessons, it was no surprise to me why. Friendly and supportive, Paul made me feel at ease from the very beginning and he was accommodating, encouraging and patient throughout the entire process. You couldn’t ask for anything more from a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: After learning with paul for just 6 months i passed both my theory and my practical first time. I was very well prepared for both of these by paul with lots of encouragement along the way, however i did not feel under pressure as he always said just do your best :) I found paul very flexible to work around my work hours and very reliable.
