Fantastic experience: Genuinely couldn't recommend Jamie enough. I first contacted him a little under a year ago, explaining I have travel anxiety with flares up my IBS. At this point I was genuinely terrified of becoming house bound it was so overwhelming. Jamie was brilliant from the get go. He's always been incredibly understanding, always put me at ease & made me feel comfortable. He has never made me feel silly, or made me dread a driving lesson. I have had 4 driving instructors and he really was the best. I've never had anyone go so in-depth and explain everything to me calmly and in a way I can understand. I passed my test today with him, first time with only one minor. I can't thank you enough Jamie! You are an incredible driving teacher, and your students are lucky to have you!

Fantastic experience: Jamie is a fantastic driving instructor. I am a very nervous person and had put off driving for years, I always let my nerves get the better of me. However Jamie was patient and gave me all the skills I needed to pass first time! I never thought I’d ever do it and I couldn’t have done it without Jamie. Fantastic experience: Jamie was recommended to me by my Sister in Law in December 2023 after a failed test. At the time my confidence was at the time. Jamie worked with me to improve my confidence starting on local roads and then building me up to the test routes around Kingstanding. Jamie is not only knowledgeable he also has a calm and supportive way about him that helped to bring out the best of me. I passed my test yesterday with only 1 minor and I'll be honest and say that I could not of done it without Jamie. Please be warned that Jamie does support Villa which was hard as a United fan at times, especially as we beat them twice last season. All jokes aside I could not recommend Jamie enough he is a great instructor.

I was a nervous passenger, let alone a nervous driver. Jamie was patient, understanding and very knowledgeable. He not only taught me how to drive but also helped me gain confidence in my driving ability. I passed with one minor and I’m over the moon and couldn’t recommend Jamie enough.

Fantastic experience: Jamie is an outstanding driving instructor, he has the patience of a saint, I am a 57 yr old woman , I’ve always wanted to learn how to drive, I put it off and put it off until I believed I was too old, how wrong was I, I met Jamie he knew I was very nervous, he put me at ease with every lesson, if there was anything I couldn’t grasp I wasn’t allowed to beat myself up or dwell on it, Jamie would find a different way until I grasped it, he explains things well and will also swap seats and show you if needed, he praised you on things you done well, always letting you know your capabilities, Jamie has a fantastic app that gives you a review of your lessons, it was great to be able to revert back to different lessons and refresh your brain, I do believe if Jamie hadn’t been my instructor I really don’t think I’d have passed my test, and I’m as proud as punch, again a massive thanks to a true gentleman.

Fantastic experience: I started learning to drive with Jamie after learning on and off for 5 years with 3 other instructors. I am an anxious person and always felt anxious when learning the drive in the past. From our first lesson Jamie put me at ease, never shouted at me when I made a mistake but was always clear and direct with his teaching. He has a fantastic app that allows you to track your progress and provides you with lesson summaries. Jamie didn't just get me test ready, he instilled in me the fundamentals of driving which really allowed me to gain confidence. If you are looking for an instructor who is professional, encouraging and easy to build a rapport with then Learn the Wright Way is for you. I passed my test first time with only 2 minors last month and already miss our laughs and chats. Thank you Jamie for having patience and allowing to gain freedom on the roads even though I was anxious to start with!

Fantastic experience: Being a mature learner I was a little anxious about learning, i've been putting it off for 20 years! However Jamie immediately put me at ease; clear, calm, patient, great at explaining things; I could get a little down on myself when making mistakes, but Jamie would always encourage. Fantastic experience: Honestly where do I start, I was really nervous about being in the car with an Instructor and as soon as I met Jamie you feel like he is a friend you have known for years. You have no pressure and clear instructions and makes you think about driving differently and safely. Always on time and honest with you. Fantastic experience: Jamie is an amazing instructor, i had came from another instructor who would go on his phone while i was driving and would get annoyed at me when i made mistakes which had made me nervous about driving afterwards. Jamie was very patient with me and helped me every step of the way with bad habits i had picked up such as coasting. He was always always on time and always taught me in a professional and friendly manner. I get a lot of anxiety when driving but Jamie helped me to become more decisive and confident when driving. Fantastic experience: As someone who was extremely nervous about driving and had horrendous experience in a manual, I felt that Jamie was a complete breath of fresh air when it came to automatic lessons. It took me 6 week's to get to test standard with Jamie, with 4 hours a week from him. I passed second time and first time it was just my own nerves that made me fail. Jamie's approach is very calm and very informative. He let me go at my own pace but pushed my to challenge myself too. His manual lesson would no doubt be as brilliant as his automatic lessons

Fantastic experience: Passed my test today 1st time with only 1 minor. My first lesson was on 12th August so I was learning for just under 3 months with no prior experience in his new automatic car. Couldnt recommend Jamie highly enough- very professional, always on time and very fair with his observations/ comments.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Jamie enough for what he has done for me, he has taught me everything i know about driving from the very beginning as i knew absolutely nothing before taking lessons with him. I have always felt at ease and comfortable driving with him from my very first lesson, he has the patience of a saint and has a very calming aura that always assured me I was capable and to keep calm. Jamie always made sure i got the most out of every single lesson and has taught me everything I needed to know about driving and now i have passed my test and it's all thanks to him! Fantastic experience: Just finished and passed my driving test after 1 week of 20 hours driving. Had taken lessons before with jamie, about 3 years ago. Needed my driving done for my work so decided on the 20 hours course over the week. I remembered a lot of what he tought me before. The way he teaches you, it just sticks with you. The 20 hours went smooth, he's a great instructor and very patient. Even when you make mistakes he puts you right but without making you feel bad so you tend not to make the same mistake again.
