Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend learning to drive with Trudi! I had some limited manual experience before starting with Tudi’s automatic lessons and immediately fell in love with both the automatic and her teaching style. An aspect of her lessons I particularly loved was the consistent feedback and reflection. Each lesson ended with a reflection on how confident I felt with the skills I had learned and a plan of what the next lesson would cover in order to help me progress. This helped keep me accountable for what skills I needed to focus on, which proved really helpful for me. This, alongside Trudi’s patient and friendly nature, helped me feel confident behind the wheel, something which had previously held me back. Trudi’s consistent punctuality, professionalism and care meant I passed my test first time! Fantastic experience: Hi, I’m Pam. I am from the US living here for almost 3 years and I am Trudi’s oldest pupil. I was terrified to drive in the UK. To add to that, I hadn’t driven in over 2 years. At first I thought that I would never get this and I came to the program with 54 years of driving experience. Over time, and with Trudi’s unwavering support and nuanced guidance, I was able to move forward, increase my confidence and develop my driving skills. She is an exemplary instructor. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who can match her energy, skill set, patience and phenomenal coaching. If you show up and apply yourself, and with Trudi’s clear and concise direction, you can and will accomplish these skills. My favorite line from her was, “That’s it, you got this”. She will cheer you on. I felt empowered and supported. She will make sure you are ready for your test before you take it and will give you a good driving review lesson just before the big day. Trudi is a seriously qualified instructor and she will move you to success, but more importantly, she will make sure you are a safe driver which is so important for you, your family, the community as well as the environment. And just one more thing….she is a joy to know. She always greets you with a warm smile. If you want to pass your test, hire Trudi and you will 100% get there. Thank you Trudi, you’re the best!

He and has really helped me to develop my confidence whilst driving which I initially struggled with. Fantastic experience: While I've been driving in America for over 25 years, I recently moved the UK. Through a referral, I hired Trudi from Ribble Valley Driving to polish up my skills and get me sorted out on the other side of the road. Trudi went the extra mile to make sure I was 100% prepared for my test in every scenario. From checking and operating the vehicle, positioning, navigating tricky pedestrian situations, lane and signaling on roundabouts, parking, and more she was a great instructor who was thorough and forgiving. By the time of my test I wasn't just prepared, I was confident and comfortable and it's thanks to her. I'm happy to say that today I passed on the first try! She was organized, had a great vehicle to practice with, extremely good with scheduling/booking our time, used the MDT app and all its useful features fully, had all the right gear in the car to review traffic situations, was great with using the iPad to help draw and discuss traffic situation and paid special care to car positioning for us visual-learners out there. I cannot recommend Ribble Valley Driving enough. If you want to pass your test or brush up on your motor-skills there is simply nobody else to hire. 10/10! THANK YOU!!

Fantastic experience: If you are learning to drive then Trudi is a great choice for an instructor! She is knowledgeable about driving and knows how to teach effectively and flexibly. I struggled with driving a great deal initially, but her patient training and positive attitude helped me significantly, I was anxious in the beginning but found myself looking forward to the lessons and the conversations we had weekly. I am grateful to Trudi for teaching me how to drive so proficiently.

Fantastic experience: Genuinely cannot thank or recommend Trudi enough! I needed to switch instructors, and despite already having had a couple of months' worth of lessons, I was still very anxious. I made the decision to change to automatic, and Trudi was encouraging and made it so easy. Throughout my lessons, Trudi was clear and direct with what was needed and was happy to re-explain or go over manoeuvres again to build confidence (she encouraged this). Fantastic experience: Trudi is the perfect instructor, very direct about what you need to do and what you should avoid, but I think the best thing is that she makes you feel very calm and relaxed while driving which makes things easier. Fantastic experience: Trudi really helped me when it came to driving I’m someone who struggles to have any belief in myself but right from the start Trudi made me feel comfortable and more confident in myself. She was an excellent instructor giving me the time and support I needed. Also many thanks to Jason who gave me an extra boost of confidence by taking me out and doing a mock test a week before my test it really made all the difference and I appreciate both of you for the time you have given me. Would defo recommend using Ribble valley driving.

Fantastic experience: Trudi is a wonderful instructor, who is patient, understanding, and by no means knows her stuff. I had around 20 hours with Trudi in her automatic car, and passed first time. She is well worth the money, knows how to explains things in a way you understand, and is incredibly insightful on her lessons, and in areas where you can improve. The lessons are very well planned out, and there is an app too so you can track the progress made after the lessons. Trudi was highly recommended to me, and I can totally see why. I would also very highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn automatic, and manual (as she does both).

Fantastic experience: In the beginning I learned to drive in a manual but, after struggling with it Trudi persuaded me that trying automatic may be the way to go and it was one of the best choices I’ve ever made . It helped with my overall driving and gaining confidence to react to what’s on the road. Through Trudi’s learning style and resources she really helps explain how to best react to situations on the road and how to make driving as simple as can be through demonstrations and step by step guide. She truly puts her heart into teaching others to drive independently, confidently and safely .

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Trudi highly enough she was fantastic with my daughter through what has been an extremely difficult year. She was always positive and professional, went above and beyond to help Meg pass her test and always helped her to stay on track with her lessons through Covid ups and downs. Fantastic experience: Cannot say enough good things about Trudi! She went above and beyond to fit me in around my college timetable (even cutting her lunch short). Throughout such an uncertain 2020, Trudi let me know things i needed to know ASAP, kept in touch constantly and always looked for the best option for me! Was very helpful through learning to drive too - i felt comfortable and confident around her. I passed my test with 0 minors! If you need an instructor - Trudi is the one. Could not recommend more.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my lessons with Trudi. I started with little confidence but really liked the structure of each lesson. At the start we would assess the goals that we had made in the previous lesson and would often look at maps of roundabouts that we would approach that lesson to improve understanding. At the end of each lesson I would rank my performance of each goal that I had set so I knew what to focus on next lesson and could see my improvement. Would recommend

Fantastic experience: PDI TRAINING WITH TRUDI'S SCHOOL OF MOTORING I decided to work with Trudi for my Part 3 Instructor Training as I had previously tried a larger company and felt I would get a more personal experience with an independent trainer. Trudi was so easy to work with and provided me with as much support as I needed along my journey. Trudi was always available for any concerns I had and responded quickly to all my messages. I found the personal contact and sitting in on Trudi's lessons to be invaluable in helping me to pass my Part 3 Exam. Thank you Trudi :-)

Fantastic experience: Trudi was a great teacher who helped me be successful with my driving test. Her lessons are structured well with a log that allows you to reflect on your lesson and plan for the next one. Her lessons cover every section of driving which allows you to gain a strong understanding with nothing being skipped.

Fantastic experience: Our teenage daughter learnt to drive with Trudi on an intensive course. She was described by our daughter as being 'exceptional'. The video/dashcam playback was really helpful. The thorough and structured learning led to a first time pass. We had a student who wanted to learn and was taking it seriously and I get the impression that there was no time wasted - every journey was a learning opportunity. Trudi took charge of the test booking process too and we were able to take advantage of a cancellation to beat the long waiting list for test dates. 7 weeks after her 17th birthday Alice was on the road. Alice is a confident and competent law abiding driver with 2 years no claims bonus (touching wood as I say that obvs!).
