Fantastic experience: I highly recommend booking driving lessons with Ayhan if you want to pass quickly and with confidence! I passed first time with just 3 minors a few days ago, and I couldn't have done it without his guidance. After years of putting off driving lessons, I decided to go with Drive Johnson's and was lucky to have Ayhan as my instructor. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test on the 20th of September 2024. Ayhan my driving instructor was very patient and kind, his flexibility enables me to book lessons because I had a very busy schedule. I will highly recommend Ayhan because he is a very good teacher that patiently teaches his students to understand driving, and more importantly to be a safe driver on the road. and to pass their test.

Fantastic experience: My driving lessons with Ayhan were amazing he was very patient and very understanding he helped me to reach test standard very quick i literally couldn’t of asked for a better teacher he is an amazing instructor and a lovely person I highly recommend him,I never knew parking would be this easy thanks to his techniques I learnt everything so quick.

Negative experience: I didn't want to do this... but after receiving another call from Drive Johnson, despite numerous requests to be taken off their database, I have no other choice but to leave this review to say that Drive Johnson let me down leading up to a driving test on three occasions. Each time I was assured it wouldn't happen again, and it did. I made it so clear I didn't want to hear from anyone who worked or drives with Drive Johnson, and yet at 7.10pm on a Friday night I get ANOTHER call from a driver saying, "I see you're on the Drive Johnson database, are you still looking for a driver". Enough, Drive Johnson. If you call this company or leave them your details, it is likely they will ignore your request to be taken off their database. This is my experience, and I can only imagine it will be yours also. If a driver from Drive Johnson says they're going to be your teacher leading up to a test, they will let you down. This is my experience, and I can only imagine it will be yours also. Do not use Drive Johnson.

Fantastic experience: I want to express my sincere gratitude for the amazing driving lessons my instructor Ali Ayhaan Gulmez provided me. 5 stars aren’t enough to describe him and his teaching skills. His patience, expertise, and encouraging attitude made a significant difference in my learning experience making me pass my practical test today with only 1 single minor!. From the very first lesson, I felt comfortable and confident under his guidance, he made complex concepts easy to understand- he really gave me lifelong skills. He is one of the kindest person I have ever met so far. I am incredibly grateful for the time and effort he invested in my driving education. Fantastic experience: I started my journey in 2021 with 0 interest of wanting to learn how to drive but I wanted the skill. My first instructor retired and I found Ayhan from Drive Johnson’s. I do believe he was god sent! Ayhan made me fall in love with driving and his teaching skills is immaculate. Ayhan is full of knowledge, calm and extremely patient. After taking lessons with him, he told me I was ready for my practical but at this point I was not getting the marks I needed to pass for the theory test. I gave up with theory and life happened for 2 years. I then finally got back to passing my theory at the end of December last year. The next available date for practical was available in June. I immediately got in touch with Ayhan and told him that im ready for practical. I had around 10 lessons with Ayhan in the space of a month. Ayhan is very generous with his times and hours too! The month consisted of driving around all the potential route tests, lots of sketching and visual explanation and then putting all your learning into practice when driving. On my test day I was extremely stressed and nervous, I wanted it to go well. Ayhan was also able to calm my nerves and reassure me that I will pass first time. He believed in me more than I did. On the test day, Ayhan ensured I was okay and waited with me in the waiting room. When the test started and whilst I was driving, I can hear Ayhans voice in my head with all the instructions he’d give me. His was of teaching will definitely be drilled into your head. I’m glad to say I passed first time with 3 minors. This result wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance and incredible teaching of Ayhan. Very grateful and thank you for everything you’ve done.

Ayhan was not only patient but always encouraging. The most valuable thing he taught me (apart from learning to drive!) was to give me confidence in doing so. Fantastic experience: I had driving lessons with Ayhan, and I am very happy to say I passed first go. He is a very good instructor, he makes you feel very comfortable and is very patient with all his students. He has very good knowledge of routes and tips that you should know for your exam which is very useful. He takes time to draw routes and pictures of the roads to help you understand better and it definitely did help me visualise and understand the road rules way better. Always makes his students feel confident and I am very happy I chose him as my instructor and would recommend him to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I am very grateful to Ayhan my driving instructor for helping and transforming me into an confident driver. When we first started I was really nervous to drive but with his guidance and patience I was able to get past my fear of the roads. I was able to pass on my second attempt but Ayhan thought I couldn't off done it on my first (he had more confidence in me than I did in myself). On my first attempt I had 7 minor but 0 on my second and I could only had achieved it with his teachings. Thanks Ayhan

My instructor was Ayhan Gulmez and he was extremely helpful, providing detailed lesson plans and ensuring that I was fully confident before my test. I especially appreciated his in depth route knowledge and attention to every detail. I highly recommend using Ayhan as your instructor if you are learning in the Enfield/Wood Green area!

Negative experience: Giving one star only to be polite as you have too or wouldn't even give a star in this case. They Cancelled my first 2 lessons in a row. Brought this up with customer service they stated they would allocate another instructor but they also wanted to rearrange the lesson. I then said I can do any time between the school hours which they then picked the hours then on the day they failed to show and failed to call to notify that the lesson won't be taking place. Don't waste your money on this company,not reliable.

Negative experience: Avoid this company at all costs, bought a 10 hour block for a christmas present, the instructor cancelled 2 times, called the company and explained whats happened, they gave me a new instructor saying he is more reliable, then on the day for the first lesson, he didn't turn up or call, I phoned the instructor and he was acting confused and said I got the wrong number when he called me to arrange the time orignally, got a refund, CROOKS! Happy to take your money but don't want to do lessons

Negative experience: *Avoid them and go elsewhere* They cancelled and re-booked my first driving lesson 3 times which wasted my precious time (almost 3 weeks) leading up to my test. At the end they said they have no instructor for me and cannot book me another instructor. Why would you say you cover an area when you don't have instructors available?!

One thing that I really appreciated about Ayhan was his willingness to use diagrams to explain things. He would draw diagrams of the road and the different parts of the car, and he would explain how they worked. This really helped me to understand the material, and it made it easier for me to learn how to drive. I highly recommend Drive Johnsons & Ayhan to anyone looking for a driving instructor.

Negative experience: I booked a block of lessons as a gift for a family member in December. An instructor was allocated quickly but was very unreliable and poor at communicating. When this was fedback to customer services, we were allocated a new instructor. This person was great; punctual and a good instructor. Unfortunately, after only about a month this instructor changed his hours and could no longer provide the lessons when needed. We were told we would be allocated a new instructor within a week. After 4 weeks there was still no contact and after several contacts with customer services we were told an alternative would be arranged. Several weeks later and still no instructor or update. After 6 months of my initial booking very little progress has been made in learning to drive due to the various disruptions and poor response by customer services. This is a fairly large company and a very impersonal service. Customer services have been unable to confirm whether I am owed any refund and rely on instructors to inform them to track this. I also paid for theory training with the package booking which has not been reimbursed despite not having the chance to use this yet. There seems to be some good instructors in this company but if you have any issues then customer services are not effective in resolving these. I would definitely not recommend this company.

Negative experience: I’m Very disappointed I’m booked my driving curse for 8:00 in the morning and my instructor didn’t show up……. I’m don’t wanna saying anything else just THANK YOU…

Negative experience: Awful! Booked an initial lesson only to be let down the night before (appointment had been confirmed for weeks). Attempted to rebook, making it clear I did not want the same instructor. They set me up with several instructors that subsequently could not commit to lessons either. If the instructors on your books don't cover an area, don't even set me up with them! Isn't that your purpose, drive Johnson's?! Waste of time!

Fantastic experience: Best driving school out there. Lessons were affordable, instructor was great and easy to get along with. Picked up driving quickly and really enjoyed it. Can't thank you enough
