Fantastic experience: Angela is a brilliant driving instructor. I really struggled with my nerves but Angela really understood how this impacted on me and she was able to work through this with, supporting me to be able to manage my nerves so I could focus on my driving skills. Angela has a natural ability to make people feel at ease and she teaches in a way that is clear, fun and comprehensive. Angela also has a great sense of humour which combined with her expertise, provided me with an ultimate learning experience and the opportunity of gaining my precious and full driving license.

I have been driving almost 4 years now and drove round the country, not once was I unsure of anything on the road due to their extensive knowledge and the confidence they give you whilst learning to drive. Fantastic experience: Trawling through the internet for a driving instructor is a mine field. I decided to go on recommendations and reviews of which the instructor had responded to, this way I knew the reviews were legitimate not fake. I found Angela of Gold Leaf Driver Training. After our initial meeting and my lesson we decided an intensive 3 day course would be the way to go forward for ME. I found the course exhilarating and at times exhausting mentally and physically. Angela proved to be the most proficient professional instructor I have ever met. Angela was patient, honest, encouraging, reliable with impeccable time keeping. Angela installed a confidence and belief in me from which I was lacking within myself. The day of my test Angela suggested we collect my driving licence, driving test day is called "licence collection day" Through all this belief and encouragement I passed my driving test 1st time with zero faults. Receiving my licence was overwhelming. I could never have built up a professional/friendly relationship with any other instructor. Angela was absolutely fantastic, going above and beyond to fit my son in for an intensive week-long course. In just a week, she got him up to test standard, with complete patience and professionalism the entire time. Angela is an excellent driving instructor and we would highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: When I was first looking into driving I set up a couple of first lessons – Gold Leaf being one of them and no question about it, I found Angela the best. Ange has been amazing. She’s so supportive and had more confidence in me than I did in myself and I’m so grateful. An experience with another driving instructor left me terrified of driving but Angela was so encouraging and was happy to take it slow and at my own pace. Every lesson was relaxed and comfortable (not to mention full of laughter!) and I looked forward to the next one each time. Due to an injury, sometimes my clutch work wasn’t the best but on the bad days instead of getting frustrated at me, Ange was always very understanding and continued to praise and encourage me. Ange is very competent, knowledgeable and experienced. She knew exactly what to do and when to help me improve and gave me extra hints and tips whilst driving as well as helping me with my theory revision. With Ange, you know you’re learning to drive for life, safely and proficiently, not just how to pass a test.

Fantastic experience: I had put off driving for many year until I got in touch with Gold Leaf, and I'm so glad I did! Angie has the perfect balance of knowledge and patience, even when I was struggling lessons were always fun and I looked forward to them. I had no previous experience and was considering learning in an automatic but decided to try a manual first, I asked a friend for a recommendation and was lucky to get referred to Gold Leaf. I know for certain I would not be as confident a driver as I am today without Angie's guidance. If you're looking to be taught to be a good and safe driver, not just enough to pass the test, then this is definitely the place to go, can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Angela at any given time... Experience, knowledge, and patience coupled with professionalism are only a few of her qualities offered. Angela made me feel relaxed with the occasional odd jokes at times. If I made an error, Angela would advise "let's leave that behind and focus on what's ahead". Before I'd even realized I was made to revist and correct my error to perfection. Four days of intensive driving and I passed my test with a clean slate "no faults, no minors". Fantastic experience: I wasn't very confident on the motorway so I asked Angela if she did motorway lessons. She did, and it was a very worth while experience, she gave me skills which I believe have made me more aware and a safer driver. I will definitely buy a lesson for my son. Fantastic experience: Excellent company, has managed to find a space for me during the whole covid situations while other big brands like Red and AA didn't even wanna know. They are very friendly and professional, I have passed my test with only 2 minors after just 2 weeks of starting my lessons. Would definetly recommend Gold Leaf over any company in the area

Fantastic experience: As my third driving instructor, I can confidently say that Angela is undoubtedly one of the best you'll find anywhere. She is an outstandingly gifted teacher, and her focus not just on ticking boxes for a test, but on SAFE driving as well, stood her out far above the others; learning with her was easy, comfortable and a lot of fun! My previous instructor advised me to book my test long before I was ready to take it, then went on holiday when I needed to prepare. Desperately, I contacted Ange a week before my test date, and she took me on, teaching me in her own overtime to get me to the standard necessary to pass with only one minor! My confidence and safety behind the wheel improved tremendously with just a few lessons, and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Just recently passed my practical test on the first attempt thanks to Gold Leaf Driver Training. Angela was a brilliant instructor. She was patient with me and took time to understand my weaknesses in order to correct them, which shows the experience she has with how to maximize her time with her students. I have used other instructors in the area but Gold Leaf Driver Training is the best. I'd not hesitate to recommenced Gold Leaf to anyone looking for a reliable, punctual, personable and brilliant driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: My son had not had a very positive experience with his initial driving instructor. When we tried Gold Leaf Driver Training we were surprised at how differently we were treated, how well the lessons were constructed and how pleasant it was to deal with the owner Angela. He went on to pass his test and is now a confident and safe driver which is all any parent wants for their teenager! I give him credit for persevering but much credit must go to Angela who built his confidence back up and motivated him to get back behind the wheel. She is a very experienced driving instructor, competetively priced, flexible and trustworthy. I cannot praise Gold Leaf Driver Training enough!

Fantastic experience: Before going with Gold Leaf I had previously been taught by other driving school companies yet none had made me feel as comfortable being behind the wheel as Angela has. With a lot of instructors you get the impression they don't care whether you pass or fail your exam or can sometimes be a little bit strict or tense. At Gold Leaf however you're given a much more comfortable and pleasant environment to learn in. Angela's teaching is relaxed, flexible and she genuinely cares about her students and gives advanced tips and advice that you wouldn't get anywhere else. Highly recommended for learners at any stage.

Angela fell nothing short of these expectations and was everything (and more) for what I could ever ask for in an instructor. Fantastic experience: Having spent most my adult life desperate to learn to drive but sooo unbelievably nervous and never finding an instructor that made me feel at ease I was pointed in Angela’s direction - and I am so beyond glad! At each stage Angela was able to make me feel safe and secure as well as push me when I needed it - I had convinced myself before I started that I was not going to pass my test and I am so pleased to say that I passed my test first time ! Fantastic experience: Just passed first time, with one minor fault. My sister also passed a little while ago -- also first time -- so that's two out of two for Ange! I could not have asked for a better, more patient or lovely teacher. If you're looking for a good mannered teacher who genuinely cares about his/her students then you've found the instructor for you. With no fails since 2015, you are as close to a guaranteed pass as you can ever be!
