Fantastic experience: Sam Clode, the Best Driving Instructor! I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor! He creates such a positive and encouraging atmosphere in the car, making every lesson enjoyable and stress-free. His patient and uplifting teaching style builds confidence and turns learning into a truly positive experience. We definitely need more driving instructors as enthusiastic as him to make learning a truly enjoyable process.

Fantastic experience: After a long few years of trying to pass with multiple different instructors…I passed with two minors. Chris was an incredibly kind, calm and knowledgeable instructor who tailored his teaching to fit me. I feel so much more confident than I did when I started, I honestly cannot thank him enough!

Fantastic experience: After passing my test today, I wanted to reccommend Richard Cone through Cherry Driving School. Finding out I was pregnant after my first lesson definitely threw a spanner in the works but Richard was patient, understanding and supportive throughout. He is a calming presence which is great for me as a nervous driver and he found a way to help me visualise things that I was struggling with, such as lane etiquette at roundabouts. He never cancelled a single lesson, was on time (if not early) for every lesson and offered flexibility when I needed to move lessons around. 10/10 would reccommend :)

Fantastic experience: I had taken lessons and a few tests in the past but had a long break of 12 years from any driving. I passed today with Helen who has been a fabulous instructor over the last 6 months. You can tell she really cares for her pupils success and was very patient with me during the ‘’not so pretty’’ stages of learning to drive. Would highly recommend! Thanks Helen!

Fantastic experience: I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Cherry and my instructor!! I drove in America for 20+years, but needed help learning the rules of the road here and passing my test. I not only passed my test, but I feel so much more confident and have way less stress on the road. My instructor, Sam, was incredibly patient and helpful. He answered every single one of my gazillion questions, and has made such a difference in my driving. Would use them again!!!

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to my driving instructor Chris! He was demanding and strict but in the same time friendly and open for any questions. His advices and constructive critic were all I needed to pass a driving test. That's how I imagined an instructor should be. I am truly happy for this opportunity. Chris was definitely the right professional I was looking for!

Negative experience: My son has autism and felt comfortable with his instructor he has been driving on an automatic licence for 6 years it took a lot to persuade him to take manual lessons and test . His instructor dropped it on him he didn't think he was ready to take the test with three lessons to go . My son insisted he would be after 3 more lessons he had to cancel one because of been rushed to hospital . The instructor sent him I think a curt reply saying basically your not ready for your test I will not be letting you use my car for health and safety though he had it booked in two weeks still with this his confidence had totally gone . He had to use a car bought for him for after his test that he had only driven a hand full of times . With his confidence in tatters and full of nerves today he went for his test !! ------- and do you know what he expected to fail well he didn't he passed with flying colours and a compliment on his driving off the examiner . My poor lad has been through two weeks of stress Christmas ruined for nothing . I would of expected better from a professional instructor and driving school . This sound dramatic but an autistic person struggles with a situation like this far more than most maybe your driver's need more education on special needs .A simple email isn't good enough oh and he was wrong anyway

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend my driving instructor Helen, she was patient while I was learning and I always felt encouraged by her. Helen really helped me to gain the confidence to be able to pass first time, her teaching and understanding of where I was struggling was really good. I cannot recommend her enough!

She was a great at teaching, patient and a lovely person to talk to at the same time! I was passed within 4 months of weekly lessons driving with only Sue and was beyond happy with the lessons I received

Fantastic experience: I passed around 4 months ago and I personally would say it was all down to Sue. She was the best instructor I could ask for, she is a good teacher and very understanding with how easy mistakes are to make, and guides you through them until they are perfect! Fantastic experience: I am very happy with my time with Cherry driving school my instructor Helen was amazing the best instructor I could of ever had I started off to a rocky start with another driving company and didn’t feel very confident but then as soon as I started driving with Helen she made me feel so much more confident and she made me into a driver! Helen is a lovely friendly instructor who you can really have a laugh with i highly recommend going with Helen at Cherry driving school will be forever thankful for all the hard work she has put into me being able to pass my test I will miss Helen massively! Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test with cherry I had Sue Caines she was absolutely amazing she was always so calm no matter the situation and even went over everything many times just to make sure you had the confidence with the manoeuvre and always explained everything perfectly and she explained things in a way you would understand instead of saying do this she explained everything thoroughly when I 1st started with Sue I had sound affects for changing gears she enjoyed them as she knew it was the way I learnt instead of being horrible about it, Sue has given me so much confidence with driving and now that I have passed my test and left Sue I hope someone else will have just as many laughs as I did with Sue x

Now having graduated and getting a job that requires me to drive, I can gratefully say Chris has helped me a lot with my confidence in getting back on the road. Fantastic experience: I started with Cherry just over a year ago and my instructor was Chris. Chris was always very patient and supportive of my personal circumstances and how that affected my learning to drive. He always allowed me to have a breaks if i needed and knew when to help me push myself. He always remained positive, even when i had some very negative days. He has taught me some very good driving habits that will stay with me for life. I have now received my drivers licence and can't wait to get behind a wheel. Thank you so much, Chris.

Fantastic experience: A couple of months ago I would not have even considered the idea of driving on the roads. However on my first ever lesson I had the luck and pleasure to meet one of the best instructors I could ask for. Helen took me all the way straight through the basics of driving, to my theory test and finally to my practical test, while passing both tests first time while studying at college and a full time job. I am truly thankful to Helen and hope other students get to work and learn from Helen in the future!

Fantastic experience: I had a superb experience with Cherry. After having an instructor that wasn’t very helpful, moving to Cherry really allowed me to explore my full driving capabilities. Im supper thankful to Tim who showed incredible patience every lesson and made each lesson fun and different.

Fantastic experience: A very special thanks to Helen, my amazing superstar instructor. She was extremely patient with me and encouraging. I went from being a nervous and scared driver to a confident and safe one in a matter of months. I'd had a previous instructor that didn't suit my learning style and I was reluctant to place my trust in another teacher but Helen put me instantly at ease and always adapted to my needs. I looked forward to her lessons every week instead of dreading them. She gave me so much positivity and energy and I really could not have passed my test without her. Fantastic experience: I was a learner with Cherry driving school 5 years ago when I was in Uni, my instructor called Phill and he is the best instructor I’ve ever met. I had to move away after I graduated so only with Phil for 4 months. I recently passed my driving test and think to come back to leave a review and definitely recommend Cherry driving school to all students!

Fantastic experience: Started lessons with cherry after having failed driving tests and within just months I was taught how to control my nerves, follow road signs and corrected my bad habits, I ended up passing on my next attempt with just 3 minors! Fantastic experience: Are you looking to start learning how to drive but you don’t know what a car is? Look no further than Tim at Cherry Driving School. I recently passed my test and I can confidently say it was all down to Tim. Not only is Tim an exceptional driving instructor but also a truly exceptional human being. When I started my driving lessons, I barely knew what a car was. Tim was calm, reassuring and showed remarkable levels of patience to teach me (an absolute monkey-clown) how to drive. Despite passing my test (with flying colours), I now miss spending an hour a week with Tim and can only think about how fortunate his new learners are to experience his wisdom and top notch banter. I hope Cherry Driving School realise how lucky they are to have an instructor as genuinely lovely as Tim work for them. Thank you, Timbo.

Fantastic experience: I had Helen for my driving lessons and honestly she's absolutely magic! It's takem me 19 years to get to my test, I had lessons in the past and my anxiety was so bad I could never get past the 5th lesson. I put it off, made excuses and avoided it at all costs. Then came Helen! And 6 months later I pass my test first time with only 2 minors she's an absolute hero!

Fantastic experience: Due to the lockdown, it was impossible to get into instructor led driving lessons but Chris Oak of Cherry Driving School took the time to walk me through how best to prepare my daughter for the test by teaching her myself. Chris was then able to make himself available for a 2 hour lesson/mock test on the morning before her test which helped tremendously. I give Chris and the Cherry Driving School 5 stars for professionalism and caring about making a difference. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend cherry driving school, in particular my instructor Leon! I had a bad experience with another company when I was 17 which seriously knocked my confidence. Leon has been amazing so patient and made me feel so at ease and confident in my driving! Would never have passed with out him let alone first time!! Amazing instructor and an amazing company!

Negative experience: I had a horrible instructor from them who wouldn't let me drive from our house for the first four lessons! I had to request very strongly that I would love to drive from our house. He wasn't happy about my request at all. I held an international driving license for five years! He wouldn't let me drive! I paid him 40 pounds for an hour and a half! What I got was 40 minutes drive at most! Then he would ask me to stop somewhere to talk for ages, telling me about his stories! I had to be very patient to listen to him! My last lesson before my practical test, I wanted to review all the different ways of parking and going through roundabouts. I expressed what I wanted to do. He looked at me and said you think we could do that within an hour and half? I said directly to him, yes, of course, if you don't talk that much. We ended up practicing driving in parking 3 times, parallel parking 3 times, reverse in parking 2 times. I sat in the car park in front of TJ Max and listened to him talking for the rest of the time! I paid you to learn to drive not to listen to you telling me all your wonderful life! And I complained to him about him being late and not giving me enough practice. He said his students normally wait for him outside of the house. I took five months of lessons from him despite being a driver overseas for 6 years! I didn't learn much from him at all! Of course I failed on the roundabouts in the last 5 minutes of my test. I'm a foreigner to this country. People I came across are very nice and devote themselves to what they are doing very well! I really like UK and of course, Lincoln. I wasn't going to write about what I went through, but I felt like I needed to do my bit to contribute to the society. I was too nice to say no to my instructor. But if you have come across with an instructor like this, remember say no straight away, he is wasting your money and trying to get you to spend as much money as possible on your driving lessons. I think if my instructor read this, he will know. Hope he can improve himself for other students! After all, I am just doing my bit to encourage the society to treat people better. I have already paid 800 pounds to him before I finally saw no hope on him. The way how he treated me, I hope it is not the way how he treated his other students.
