Fantastic experience: I honestly never give 5 stars for any review but she taught me to ride a motorbike!!!!! I had tried several years ago with another company and they put me onto moped. She gives you the time and patience and has brilliant sense of humour. Thank you so much for helping me get on a motorbike. Originally I was there to refresh learning for moped because I was told in the past there’s no point learning on a motorbike !!!! Thank you again

Managed to pass my unrestricted A licence within 4 months which I thought was quick considering you struggle to get a DVSA test date. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: As a very anxious first time rider I can honestly say that AAA deserve 5* - I completed my CBT today and cannot thank them enough. I was given a free practice session on the pad a week or so before the CBT day, to build confidence in a very relaxed setting. The instructor is incredibly understanding, supportive and knowledgeable. They took so much time to put me at ease and build my confidence. Really great experience and I look forward to building on what I have learned with further instruction in the future. Thank you.

Negative experience: Very very rude owner I mislaid my cbt certificate then found it but mislaid it I again . The owner wanted me to travel 144 miles to collect a copy O have medical conditions but allowed to drive I would recommend there training school at all. Plenty of others around who treat you with respect and dignity when someone has cancer . Lee

Fantastic experience: I went to AAA motorcycle training for my cbt. I was very nervous when I arrived which Amanda could see, and soon put me at ease. Amanda and her son were really good at explaining all manoeuvres and pointing out when errors were made. They were very calm and patient with me. I have already booked my next lesson with them to ride a 650.

Honestly, if you're in the area, just do your biking here- I did my CBT elsewhere, but really wish I did it here instead! I was taught so many things that I didn't learn from the other motorcycle school. Although I was put off pursuing biking after my CBT experience elsewhere, the patience and kindness shown by AAA means that I will continue to do my full license here!

Fantastic experience: Used aaa to do my cbt. I'd never riden before so they gave me a one hour taster lesson beforehand. The cbt was excellent, the instructors made me feel relaxed and at ease the whole time. And I left feeling confident that I had all the knowledge I needed to be safe on the road. Fantastic experience: As a new rider at the age of 38 taking on something new can be very daunting. But speaking to Amanda prior to my riding day and Mark on the day of my CBT I was put completely at ease. The transition from car to bike wasn't faultless but Mark took the time to build confidence at every task before we moved onto the next challenge. By lunchtime I felt confident riding at slow speeds although my clutch control wasn't perfect. Some more instruction and practice time after lunch and the click happened in my head, moving onto the road ride was a huge confidence boost and I really took to it well building in confidence with every manoeuvre and we had a very good ride out on the road without any mishaps before heading back to the pad just before darkness fell. So in a nutshell I went from a stiff board at 8am to riding in a day and completed my CBT thanks to the instruction of Mark and his time and effort. I would recommend the guys and girls at AAA to anybody who wishes to get into riding and am now booking my DAS with Amanda for ASAP. Amazing service Jan 24th 2022 update. Passed my DAS with AAA today. Amanda Hellmann from AAA motorcycle school is just amazing. Throughout my training and suffering alittle with imposter syndrome she not only was an instructor but also a very caring person. I couldn't have passed this so quickly and efficiently if it wasn't for her instruction. The team at AAA embody the biker community and helpfulness and are amazing at what they do. Fantastic experience: It is immensely rare to meet people with the kind of heart that Amanda and Co have. I travelled an hour from where I lived to do my training with them. I have no regrets. It has been a phenomenal experience, one which was full of laughter and has formed unforgettable memories. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to have their training here. I passed my MOD1 & MOD2 first time. I guess I can stop saying ‘if I pass’. I must say that I found the price to be exceptionally fair compared to places more local to me. I will hopefully swing by on my bike once I’ve bought one.

Fantastic experience: For anyone who is looking for a warming, welcoming and supportively encouraging environment to start their riding all the way through to getting their big bike licence, this is the place. Amanda is a fantastically enthusiastic trainer, with years of experience and knowledge, she is able to personalise the training to suit your needs! This is strongly supported by her surrounding team, who are equally as good. After very recently managing to complete my full licence, my praise goes out to Amanda for never giving up on me! Especially through the recent events of the pandemic. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT, MOD 1 & MOD 2 first time with AAA! Zero faults on my tests & within 6 weeks despite the Covid backlog! Marc took me through my CBT & we laughed all day! Answered every question I had (& I had lots!) There are never more than 2 people on a CBT course so you get Marc’s full attention. Amanda is one of a kind, an incredible bike instructor that doesn’t teach you just to pass a test, but teaches you to ride safe. I had every lesson 121 with radio contact so I got training tailored for me. I have found friends for life at AAA. The entire biker family there are person centred & welcoming. Amanda, Marc, Jacob, Roy, Laurie, Sam, Theo, Chippy & Misty the cat! I found abs I didn’t know I had from laughing so much with you all! I learnt things about myself during the course & built self confidence with help from Amanda. In 2016 I broke my neck in 8 places and never imagined becoming a biker. Today I proved ANYTHING is possible if you find the right people to help you. Highly recommend!! These guys truly went out of their way to get me on the road in good time. They didn’t drag me along just to get more money. Amanda teaches, you listen, & when your ready for tests she will tell you. No the site isn’t a 5* hotel & it’s sad to see someone mention this in a review below. But if your picking training centre based on looks rather than reviews & honest people, AAA isn’t for you. The time spent from instructors & the team goes into helping YOU, the client be safe on the road & pass your test within a realistic time. If you want to pay thousands to train go to a centre that has heated toilet seats & air fresheners. I didn’t want to pay to sit in a classroom. I wanted to be out on the road & that’s what I got!! I have OCD & I cannot for the life of me find a fault with this place! Thank you for all you have done guys.

Took my CBT after not riding for over 30years and when I finished the training received my certificate I felt like a teenager all over again. Will be doing my theory in a couple of weeks then back to these guys for more training and test prep. Cant thank them enough Richard

Fantastic experience: Simply AMAZING. Went over on Monday for a complementary hour on the training pad. This was a great experience and really helped and supported me in getting to know the bike and monuvers for my CBT which was today. Had an unforgettable day, learning all about the bike, saftey and going out on the open road for hours of life saving training and the 'how' to not only ride a bike but to ride it with confidence and to a high standard. Needless to say I left there a much better rider and I can't wait for my full bike licence training to start with AAA. There are closer training schools that I could go to, but I would rather travel that bit further because of thier friendly, relaxed approach. They really adapt the training to suit you and make you feel as ease the whole time. A really super training school with an amazing high quality of tuition. You really won't find another training school like this one.

Fantastic experience: I was terrified of learning to ride a motorcycle. My boyfriend has an obsession with riding and insisted if I just tried it I would like it. On a recent visit to the UK, I set up an appointment for the introductory lesson. I figured if I hated it, I could easily bail out of the lesson quickly, tell him I tried and didn't like it, and that would be the end of the discussion. Dean put me at ease from the very start. He was patient with me as I gained some confidence and even offered to teach me like I was on American roads instead of British ones (aka U-turns in the opposite direction). The two hours went by quickly and I couldn't even lie and tell my boyfriend I hated it, because it was quite fun! I plan on going back to AAA and doing a CBT course the next time I am over.

Fantastic experience: Learned with the trainer's previously from another training centre. Really glad they've decided to open there own! The guys are awesome, friendly, and super down to earth. They will train you to what you need and not try and give more hours out and will ultimately not only get you through your test, but also make you a better motorbike rider. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I've known these guys a couple years now, in very different and social circumstances - but I'm not about to show myself up here and let you delve into the geeky world of... well... I'll stop right there... I rolled up early for my cbt renewal, having some previous learning experience and road time elsewhere. Let me tell you, I did not expect the level of detail that is on the training pad... we're talking full road system here, complete with left turns, right turns, u turns, major & minor junctions, as well as straights... the absolute works... and that was just a first look before heading in the door to a warm welcome and the sight of a well stocked snack bar (may I heartily recommend the pretty decent selection of pot noodles and gorgeous flapjacks? - but hands off the choc chip ones... those are mine okay?)... Anyway, the safety training was utter first class, with full explanations, examples, and information filled graphics. The flow of conversation was at a pace that was easy going and inclusive so that I really felt like I was participating right from the start. The training pad instruction and practice was brilliant. All instructions were clear and I was given some great advice on positioning and proper clutch control. Must admit I went a lil bit wide on the old figure of eights for a while there, but with a lil bit of coaching and encouragement, I soon improved and felt much more stable at the slow pace. You'll even be as relieved as me to know I didn't drop the bike once... not even a lil bit! So... after some lunch (yes... pot noodles and flapjack - as if you couldn't tell!) we went out for a road ride. The wind was a bit strong that day, and the odd gust did try to intervene on my positioning by trying to shove me over a bit, but again with excellent advice, coaching and some positive encouragement I was soon enjoying my time out on the tarmac and growing in confidence. The whole day was a positive from start to finish and I came away with a gleaming smile and a nice fresh cbt certificate! As well as a cheeky go on a 500cc to give me a small taster of the 650cc I'll be on next time! Speaking of which, I'm heading back in a few days to start my DAS training and can hardly wait to get started! Do I recommend AAA? Can I get a hell yeah!? Yeah... ya know what to do people, make a start on your two wheel journey like I have and get in contact with these guys. They'll have you out there feeling confident and able in no time!
