He will answer any questions and worries you may have about driving. He pushes you out of your comfort zone while making sure not to knock your confidence. If you’re looking for someone easy going yet professional Dan is definitely the right instructor. I passed first time with Dan, credits to him!

Fantastic experience: If I could give Dan 6 stars, I would. He is a knowledgeable and patient instructor, never makes you feel inadequate when you make mistakes and explains everything in detail. I appreciated going to my exam and not being surprised by anything. Although I have quite a few years experience, mostly abroad, he also taught me some things I didn't know which unquestionably made me a better driver. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Not having driven for 40 years, Dan is an excellent instructor and gave me the confidence to drive again with only a couple of lessons. He is very friendly and calm and explained how best I could improve on my skills in today's driving conditions, allowing me to assess and focus on areas where I felt I needed guidance after such a long time of not driving. The lessons went quickly and were very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Dan to any motorist, new or old, who wants the independence of being able to drive.

Fantastic experience: After 9 years and 8 different driving teachers I finally passed my driving test with Dan. I came up from London because I couldn’t get a test near where I live but my parents live near Ipswich. Dan fitted me in for a couple of days intensive lessons. It was his calm practice that helped me through and they were the best lessons I had over the course of my time practicing. I’m a teacher myself and I honestly can’t give him enough credit for his patience and encouragement. He is a truly remarkable teacher so I would definitely book him if you’re thinking about it. Especially speaking as someone who had a lot of nervous anxiety about driving, he makes you feel really at ease. Thank you Dan! I just drove myself to the dentist and remembered to leave a review finally!

When I first started driving lessons I had no confidence in driving, however Dan was able to bring that confidence out in me and the manner in which he teaches puts you at ease, Dan is patient, friendly and excellent at what he does! I have always been a bit of an over-thinker and Dan has really put me at ease throughout our lessons. He is really kind, easy to talk to and understanding and I couldn’t be more grateful to have taken lessons with him. Even when you make mistakes (and believe me I have made a lot ), Dan is extremely patient and calm. The hours fly by so quickly and are absolutely worth the money. The lessons are always so useful and tailored to what you would like to focus on. Dan is really open minded and isn’t the kind of guy to make you practice reverse parking for an hour which I was, personally, very happy about. I cannot recommend Dan enough. If you are looking for a fantastic driving instructor, then look no further!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant patient instructor!! He gave me confidence and always made me feel at ease behind the wheel. He was brilliant with booking in my lessons and being accommodating (lived miles away from the centre of town so needed 2 hour lessons) Extremely good prices and got me passed in 9 months Gave me so much freedom, living in the outskirts meant getting places, even just food shopping, was really difficult. I can now go shopping on my own and I've also got a job I love from it. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I previously had an instructor before Dan and I didn’t enjoy the experience I was having. I felt like I wasn’t going no where with him. My friends gave me good reviews of Dan and I moved to Dans driving school, after that I felt like I started enjoying my driving lessons and felt I was learning more. Once I passed my test with Dan I was greatly appreciative since Dan helps provide support and is easy going so you feel like you can tell him if you are struggling in any aspects. Personally I believe his the best driving instructor in Ipswich thanks to Dan I have passed my test and I am a confident driver. Many thanks to Dans driving school!
