Fantastic experience: If you're looking for the world's calmest driving instructor, look no further. Ian took me from having zero experience on the roads, to being able to confidently and safely demonstrate all the techniques that I needed to pass my driving test today. It was fun working with Ian. He is a very friendly guy, and always has something to talk about or learn from. You can really feel the passion Ian has for his work and getting his students where they need to be. My only criticism is that he could have took a more flattering photo! Thanks a lot Ian - I couldn't have asked for a better instructor.

Fantastic experience: Learning with Ian was definitely the best choice I could have made! Coming from a different country and different way of driving entirely, I literally had to start learning almost from scratch. Ian made it very easy! He was always very kind and patient, he always took the time to explain everything I needed to know, he was also giving me constant feedback so it helped me to constantly improve and correct any mistakes I was making. I would definitely recommended him to any new or even experienced driver like me. Coming from another country and having some bad habits from driving there can create lots of extra hurdles to overcome as driving in the UK is way more strict than in Mexico, but Ian managed to get me through wonderfully. I passed 1st time in both, my theory and practical test, but wouldn't have done it without his help! Best instructor ever!

Fantastic experience: Passed 1st time thanks to Ian. I was put off driving for a long time after losing my brother in a car accident and I was quite nervous getting behind the wheel. Ian is a brilliant instructor, always very calm and patient, explains things really well and really helped make me feel comfortable and confident with my driving. I thought learning would be a stressful experience but with Ian it was an enjoyable one instead.

Hell likely referred you to some really useful resources aswell, like apps and youtube videos. I would absolutely recommend him to any new driver who feels particularly nervous or is a complete beginner.

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend more, I went to Ian very anxious and believing i wouldn't ever be able to drive, Ian helped me pass my test with only five minors and also gave me the confidence i needed to try. He was extremely kind and reassuring even when i was panicking and he never shouted at me which was something i'd had with previous instructors. If you are a person struggling with anxiety about driving then i would 100% choose Islearning and even if you aren't then i would still 100%recommend.

After attempting to drive twice with different instructions, I eventually gave up and decided driving just wasn’t for me, until a good few years later I thought I’d give it another go, I put a fair bit of research in and decided that I wanted to learn with IsLearningToDrive, the reviews were great and now I can see why!! My opinion on driving completely changed, driving lessons became enjoyable, it didn’t feel like a chore that I needed to get ‘over and done with’, it also helped how easy Ian is to get along with, he has the patience of a saint! This is a life changing experience, I would 100% recommend Ian to learn to drive he has a really calming and caring persona very funny and nothing is too much trouble for him to go through with you, you can put your full trust with him just brilliant , because I had a car I could drive at home to practice in he never took me for any more lessons until week before my test so Ian will definitely not rip you off by taking you for more lessons than you need like I've said very trustworthy and honest .
