Fantastic experience: We have used Toms school of motoring for both of our daughters and they have both passed with James first time. James is a very calm and caring instructor and very patient with any queries they had. We would definitely recommend Toms school of Motoring

Great having Tom, he is the best in his profession he will teach and let you understand how to drive at your full best. Tom makes driving lesson fun and you will learn with great knowledge. As they say never settle for less only go for the best!

Fantastic experience: I decided to go with toms school of motoring to do my lesson. I did my lessons with Tom in an automatic. He was very welcoming from the very get go it was a massive weight lifted of my shoulders. He was very positive and friendly, when doing lessons it didn’t feel like a lesson it felt like u was with a mate who helped u the best he can. Would highly recommend to everyone who wants to pass straight away!

Fantastic experience: I passed with Tom several years ago. Tom was wonderful and so patient and understanding. I'd already failed 3 times with another instructor (not her fault) in a different area and Tom stepped up at very short notice to guide me through. I passed with zero minors and have never been so grateful for someone in my life. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Toms driving school really is the best. Even if you don't have Tom all the other instuctors are great too. I had James, he helped me pass my driving test first time last year. He was always calm with me and relaxed. He never put any pressure on me and encouraged me all the time. He always pushed me to do my best and told me exactly what I needed to improve on so there is no lesson that's are pointless. By my 2nd lesson I was all ready diving on main roads because he knew I was capable. I woudnt recommend anybody else.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Tom any higher! When I first started driving I was so nervous to be sat in a car with a stranger, (especially after hearing stories of shouting driving instructors), but Tom instantly put me at ease with a perfect mix of banter and professionalism. I can’t say I was a natural at driving, but Tom always stayed calm and it definitely helped. I passed my test first time and even now, two years later, I can still hear Toms advice when I’m driving. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Tom is such a calm & experienced driving instructor. Never thought I would pass my test as I was so nervous. But with him being so patient I passed in just over 2 months. Tom is very good at his job and he puts you at ease from the start. Easy to have a laugh with but learning at the same time. Would highly recommend to everyone Thanks Tom. My son also had an under 17’s driving lesson with James and said he thoroughly enjoyed it and was made to feel at ease right from the start. Great team 5+⭐️

Fantastic experience: I was very anxious about getting behind the wheel, but Tom really helped me build my confidence and I actually ended up passing both my theory and practical test first time! I would also highly recommend him if you're neurodivergent or struggle with anxiety, he taught me to drive in a very understanding and patient way. I always felt comfortable and looked forward to his lessons every week

Fantastic experience: I passed my test in 2018 with Melissa when she first started doing lessons and from the start she was fantastic. She was very patient which helped massively as I was nervous to begin with and helped me gain confidence throughout lessons and even passing my test first time. I would recommend her to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I passed with Tom 12 years ago now and he was a brilliant instructor very patient and put me at ease straight away as I was very nervous. My son also passed with Tom and loved his lessons I also recommended him to other family members who also passed first time. My youngest son is 17 next year and I will be arranging for him to have lessons with Tom I couldn’t recommend him enough. Fabulous

Fantastic experience: Tom is an A*** driving instructor. Having passed my motorbike licence before doing the car, I was a little more developed on the road prior to learning with Tom. I had knowledge of how to drive a car and then Tom developed that really quickly and efficiently. In no time at all I was going for my test and passed it first time. He's really friendly and informative. I cannot recommend him enough!! He also went on to teach my sister, who was also a first time pass in no time at all. Thanks Tom!

Fantastic experience: What can I say, you won’t find a better instructor around. Not only did Tom help me pass safety and swiftly and with only 1 minor. Since then he has helped more then 10 of my friends and family pass. I can’t recommend Toms school of motoring enough! I hear he even has options for electric cars now too. If this was enough you may be happy to know he is a true pillar of the community, whether it’s charity fund raising or out litter picking. Anything to better the community her is part of. A true class act.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test first time with Tom! He encouraged me and is so down to earth, he made feel very comfortable whenever I felt anxious. I gained so much confidence from the way he teaches.

Fantastic experience: I had lessons with Tom which I was very nervous about as I'd had lessons with a different instructor previously and had not enjoyed them. Driving with Tom was a completely different experience and I enjoyed every lesson I had with him (even when he shouted at me about Andy Murray) and eventually passed my test with his help. He makes you feel at ease in the car and talks to you in a very friendly but professional way. Couldn't rate him highly enough if I tried.

We had the most wonderful conversations which made me feel so comfortable and massively reduced my anxiety. Fantastic experience: I would recommend this driving school to anybody looking to not only pass but to be able to drive confidently afterwards. Fantastic tutors both if them, they really go above and beyond to install knowledge both in practical and theory. Without rushing them. Really easy to talk to and get along with, and they have a laugh along the way.

Fantastic experience: Tom was my driving instructor back in 2013/2014 and i passed with flying colours, he was calm, patient, cool, and really passionate about his job and teaching people to drive. My daughter was 7 back then. Shes coming up 16 this year, so i want to get her on the waiting list ready for her 17th birthday lol x please don’t hesitate to think about going with Tom and his team! They have expanded since i went with them! That shows how popular they are. They have a different range of cars to suit the driver x Thankyou Tom and Team x

I was very anxious about driving but decided to take my lessons with Tom. I am so glad i did. He is a fantastic instructor. He is patient, funny and totally put me at ease. He believed in me which made me believe in myself. At the grand Old age of 51 I passed my test on my first attempt. I will be forever grateful to Tom for helping me.
