Fantastic experience: DDay Training LTD, fantastic training company. Tim & Dawn, husband & wife owners run a very friendly, efficient business, both are a real joy to be around. Right from the 1st contact, Dawn & June in the office sent all the information I needed to make an informed decision & sorted everything for me & were so helpful at every turn, very personable. The trainers, Nick, Damien & Simon are brilliant, patient & really friendly. The whole process was very relaxed & tuition is tailored to each pupil, top guys!! The vehicles are top notch & no issues throughout the 2 weeks. I can't recommend this firm enough, in fact it's more than a firm/business, its more a kin to a family, really enjoyed my time with them & having not stepped into a LGV or HGV prior to the training, the trainers got me through my tests 1st time with zero minors, couldn't be happier. All training & tests take place around the Wrexham area between 8am & 3pm So if you're new to professional driving or want a change of career I wouldn't hesitate to engage the services of DDay Training, you definitely won't regret it. Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved the course, Damien was my instructor for the week and he settled me right in to the course, never driven a truck before or even an automatic for that matter, Damien was very knowledgeable and patient and talked me through everything that was required to pass, which I did first time and with no minors, Damien is a credit to the company, thanks mate.

Fantastic experience: Passed my c+e first time this morning after a week of great training from Simon. I have learnt so much more than I needed to just get through my test. My training included alot of "real world" scenarios to help me to be competent when I hit the road. Massive thanks to the team. Everyone was so friendly and easy to get along with, it made a week that I'd been dreading a week full of laughs that i'll never forget.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test a couple of years ago, I’ve decided to do my CPC so after a bit of research online, this place came up and based on the great reviews, I’ve decided to get in touch and sign up for my training. I cannot praise the whole team enough, Tim delivered the course with humor and professionalism making some of the boring stuff sound really interesting, the whole setup is professional and welcoming . Special thanks to Dawn who kindly arranged for me to take a test in a DVSA place which I was unaware I’ve had to do . Finally, had a couple of hours of induction, coupling, uncoupling etc with a really relaxed and genuinely nice Scottish fella(really sorry but haven’t retained your name) , took me out for a drive and just felt comfortable and reassured that I am ready to take a job whenever I am prepared to do so… If you are looking to train as a lorry driver or just do your CPC training, look no further, this place deserves it’s reputation and you will be well looked after from start to finish ! Fantastic experience: Just completed category C+E with dday and I can honestly say that I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to help me get it done. Always pointing you in the right direction to ensure that you understand the training and what they are asking you to do as well as how to go forward in the future within the industry. Everyone at D-day at some point in their lives have been a wagon/lorry driver and understand the job and everything that comes with it. They share their experiences with you and have a good laugh along the way. I can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done for me over the last couple of weeks and I’m glad I chose D-day training to lead me through it. Fantastic experience: I was booked in to D-Day through work for my C1E. I spent 4 days training with Nick who is a friendly, knowledgeable and passionate person. I managed a pass on the friday with no minors. If I ever need to return to 'driving school' in the future, I know just where to come.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience, I couldn’t praise the trainers and management enough. I had opted for direct entry to C+E (class one) having never driven anything bigger than a transit van before, the trainers gave me the confidence and very quickly enabled me to pass my test on the first attempt. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend D-Day training enough. Having had no experience driving anything other than a car to 8 days of training later passing my c/c+e first time and feeling comfortable in doing so says it all. From the first initial phone call all the way to test day the team were very friendly and helpful. The value for money with the support and experienced instructors is honestly outstanding. If you're looking to do your licence these are the people to go with. Hoping to be back soon to complete further training.

Fantastic experience: I did my class 2(C) and my 1(CE) with DDay Training, there are a fantastic company to do all of your training with, they sort everything out for you and the communication between them and you is second to none. I had one of the trainers Damian take me out for bith class. He is very helpful, clean and you feel very comfortable in the cab with him. All the other instructors are very nice and friendly when i have spoken to them. 10/10 and i would reconmend anyone wanting to do there licences to use DDay.

I had training from Monday and had my test on Friday, I can’t fault D-Day in any way, shape or form everyone was very friendly and helpful and the staff that work there are brilliant trainers. D-Day also did my CPC module 4 and I also received brilliant training to get me through first time. Massive 5 stars and I hope to head back to do my class 1.

Fantastic experience: I have used DDay Training to gain both my Class C and C+E licences. I recommend DDay unconditionally and can’t thank Tim, Dawn, Nick and Ian enough. When I decided to learn to drive a HGV it was a little bit of a minefield understanding were to start. After trawling the internet I contacted a number of companies. I quickly discovered that there are a lot of agencies that just want your money and push hard to get you to sign up at very high costs and tie you into using them/passing you on to an actual training company. DDay is a family run firm and are completely different. Dawn responded to my email and explained what steps I needed to take to start my Class C training and even invited me to the office to go through it, the next day I went down and had a chat. On visiting the office I was impressed and we booked my Theory test on the spot and was given the required training DVD/books etc to borrow, 3 days later I passed my theory test. Once passed I was booked in for my Class C practical training and test. My 4 days of training from Nick were superb and I passed my test on the Friday. I then did my CPC course with Tim and I was licensed to drive professionally. 12 months later I decided I wanted to upgrade to a C+E licence. I dropped Dawn an email and I was booked in for my training at my requested date. Tim taught me to drive the class C+E and again training was excellent and enjoyable. My test was cancelled due to snow and at no cost to me DDay rebooked my test at a date suitable to me. Tim invited me down the day before my new test to practice my reversing in the yard which I really appreciated. I had the morning with Ian a new trainer who again was great and inline with my expectations of DDay and I passed my test. Use DDay, you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: If you are reading this review, you are probably doing your homework to ensure you make the right decision before booking any training for additional categories on your driving licence. If this is true, PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING YOUR DECISION... After completing the B + E licence with the support from D-Day Training, I can not stress enough how friendly yet professional the team are! At first I was a bit apprehensive and nervous as it had been over 15 years since I passed my driving test and the dreadful memories of my instructor came flooding back. However, this was not the case, as from the moment I walked through the front door I was greeted with massive smiles and made to feel at ease. The lessons were lots of fun and highly relevant, filling me with bags of confidence in my ability to tow a load safely and effectively. The training was so well structured and delivered that I firmly believe I was being trained to ensure the safety of myself and other road users, rather than only being taught what was required for the test. I can honestly say that I truly felt that my best intentions were their main priority and at no point did it feel like they were training me just because it was their job to do so. The quality of education I received from the lovely folks at D-Day Training can genuinely be described as faultless. The only reason that I can say that is because I passed my test with a total of zero faults!!! The service and experience that I received was so outstandingly good that I am now contemplating training for the C1 licence leading up to the C1 + E, just because I want to! If I have one criticism, it would be that they do not offer regular driving lessons for Learner drivers, as I feel if I had originally learnt to drive with D-Day Training, I would probably be a better driver than I am today. Perhaps this may be something that one day D-Day Training could consider, who knows... Thank you so much D-Day Training! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED....!!!! A+++
