Fantastic experience: I can't thank Simon enough for helping me learn how to drive and pass the driving test on my first attempt. He's very effective and efficient in teaching. He's very calm and will teach you how to drive safely on the road. He has ways for you to remember the strategy on how to drive safely. He will not just let you pass the test but he cares enough for you to be more safe on the road. If you want to pass your driving test on first attempt I can't recommend Simon enough. He's genius and nice at the same time. 5 stars are not enough for him!

Fantastic experience: Simon is a very patient and encouraging instructor, who makes it clear what you need to improve on and ensures you are ready for your test. I particularly struggled with roundabouts, although Simon’s instruction helped me to understand what I need to improve on, allowing me to pass my test first time today. Providing a folder filled with the layout of all of the difficult areas of the city makes it so much easier to understand and know what you’re doing. Thank you Simon

Fantastic experience: Simon is a very good instructor and has all sorts of tricks to make a better driver and to get you through your test, I felt like my driving has improved throughout my time with him and by the end of my lessons i was feeling more confident.

Fantastic experience: Simon is a fantastic instructor and I'm over the moon with my 1st time pass (today) with only 1 minor fault. He is great at preparing learners ahead of their test, offers encouragement to build their confidence and ensures they have the knowledge and skills on the road to drive safely. If I could give six stars I would. As a learner in my 30s and lacking confidence Simon was both patient and consistently providing me with constructive feedback so I felt fully prepared ahead of my test.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Simon enough! He genuinely is amazing. I booked an all intensive course and it was stressful (on my part) it wasn’t as easy as you think and many melt downs later with the help of Simon calming me down and believing in me I managed to do it. We have so many laughs (mainly at me) taught me tricks that I still use to this day and won’t forget! Simon understood how frustrated I could get it and I never felt pressured or told off. I would have never done this without him and I’m so glad I had him. Would highly recommend Simon to anyone. Xxx

Fantastic experience: Simon prepared our son wonderfully. Whilst he is very busy, there was always brilliant flexibility when needed especially when I was able to book an extremely last minute test. He is also able to cover extended skills post test with the PassPlus course. See you in two years with child number 2!

Fantastic experience: I cant say enough thank you to simon who helped me pass my test first time, he is a very good instructor and has very good strategies of learning how to drive that are different from most conventional methods which include giving you a folder with diagrams of roundabouts and junctions to help you learn the right or wrong methods of doing it allowing for alot more visualisation and a better understanding.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Simon more highly. I passed first time after a few weeks of semi-intensive lessons, and I feel confident and most importantly safe on the road . He is patient, understanding and knowledgeable, and is great at explaining things with diagrams and drawings so you can easily visualise manoeuvres and roundabout rules. I initially tried to learn manual with another instructor but I felt ultimately automatic was a better fit, as it allowed me to concentrate on the rules of the road and being a safe driver, without the distraction of changing gears or the stress of stalling. I would really recommend Simon, and his semi intensive course if you are keen to learn quickly but throughly so you finish a confident driver.

Fantastic experience: Great driving instructor for our eldest son. It was tricky to book lessons as he, like all instructors are so booked up, but each lesson was instructive and detailed. Took longer than we expected to get test-ready but he is willing to do intensive sessions which is very helpful. Happy to recommend Simon to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I started my intensive lessons last monday having only turned 17 a week before, and thanks to simon ive just passed this morning only three days after my intensive!! Honestly can’t recommend Henson driving school enough simon is the best instructor around especially for nervous drivers like me he always explained things thoroughly and calmly helped correct any mistakes I made so I wouldnt get flustered. Id definitely choose simon again and again i’ve already recommended him to multiple friends my age looking to drive too:)

Fantastic experience: I'm so happy to of had Simon Henson to teach me to drive an automatic car. I passed first time with him in the intensive course he offers. He gave me so many tips and details and produced a whole folder with everything I need to know, learn and what to expect. Due to covid I have been with other instructors and Simon by far is the best! I plan to go on the plus scheme he offers also in the coming future! I could not recommend anyone else as highly as I do Simon!

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my test following Simon’s amazing instruction. I cannot recommend him enough. I had had a couple of instructors previously but Simon was hands down the best and would recommend anyone to book with Simon. His knowledge is amazing and he is so great at what he dose. Also learning in King’s Lynn was also great and would recommend it the examiner at the Kings Lynn test centre Ian was also amazing so kind and put me at ease.

The pictures and diagrams he has drawn out for me has helped too. I know I started of in a manual and couldn’t get on with it so we both decided to go for an automatic and give that ago. I was going to be waiting multiple months for a test after receiving my driving training (due to covid backlogs) but Simon managed to find me a last minute cancellation and I was passing my test the next day! Fantastic experience: 5 stars just isn't enough! Simon managed to pass my sister nearly 2 years ago & she couldn't rate him highly enough. So I decided the only logical thing to do would be to contact Simon. 5 months later I have passed my test with only 2 hours a week (not every week) and I am set to venture out into the world feeling safe & secure, with Simon's sayings and phrases in my head. Not only is Simon patient and fair, with a whole host of experience, he also puts you at ease from day one. It's a shame test day was the last time I will see him because he's a fantastic instructor and a lovely guy. You don't just get a normal instructor with Simon, you get someone who goes above and beyond. The folder you receive on day one with Henson driving school is fantastic. You complete various parts with Simon during lessons and it's a fantastic tool to help you revise before your test. I've used different driving schools over the years and never have I felt more prepared or seen a revision tool like it. Thank you Simon for every time you clean your cars before a test, for every dirty road sign you've stopped and cleaned in King's Lynn for us, for the times you've frozen walking us round various roundabouts in King's Lynn to help us understand them in every aspect and for all the small details that no one realises you do! Henson driving school really is the best driving school in and around King's Lynn! Thank you again Simon.

Negative experience: I am a coloured Asian . Simon swore at me several times ( f---ing woman ). He is aliar trying to cover himself . All electric car , forgot to charge only had small charge ,not enough for test so made excuses to cover himself .Swore at me during lesson before test . Missed test because he was charging his car and having Costa coffee . Blamed all on my wife . First lesson grabbed my wife's thigh .
