Before I started lessons with him, I had very little driving experience and was quite nervous about getting behind the wheel. From our very first lesson, Mick was incredibly patient and understanding, which really helped ease my anxiety. His teaching style is both reassuring and effective. He took the time to explain everything clearly and tailored each lesson to my needs. With his guidance, I gradually built my confidence and skills, and I felt much more capable on the road. Thanks to Mick's support and expertise, I was able to pass my driving test on the first attempt! I truly couldn't have done it without him. Fantastic experience: Failed driving test 3 times before in redhill, so gave Mick an all and blitzed a few 2 hour sessions with him and got my driving up to scratch and passed first time with him in West Wickham. Lovely bloke, always on time and most importantly he’s a great instructor!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t speak more highly of Mick if I tried, an absolute gent! After giving up driving years ago after some terrible experiences with two separate instructors (who both failed to turn up on the day of my test) I was sceptical about getting back behind the wheel, but with recommendations from friends and family I decided to give Mick a try. Mick always tried his best to fit me in despite my busy working schedule, was always on time and offered great knowledge and advice on how to get the best out of my driving. I had a test in November but unfortunately failed due to faults of my own but Mick knew I was capable enough to pass and did his best to find me another test asap. I had another test on Friday and passed (at the ripe old age of 30). I would 100% recommend Mick to anyone, great instructor and person.

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say Mick is a fantastic instructor who is more than happy to accommodate cutomers needs. We were looking for an instructor online and tried ringing Mick to see if he could give my daughter lessons before her test as our last instructor had let us down. He was so helpful and squeezed us in with some dates. He is such a helpful and friendly guy and my daughter looked forward to her lessons with him. He even swapped dates over for driving test dates in his own time which i know was quite time consuming. He was always on time and never let us down once ( which i cant say was true of some other instructors we used). I would happily recommend Mick to others.

His communication is great and is always early and finishes on time gives which shows he is very passionate about passing his students ! Negative experience: After hearing convincing recommendations on how good Mick was at teaching, I decided to give it ago. But I did not expect to feel out of pocket and have nothing to show for it. Initially, he pitched that the lessons were 1:30 hours each, and I would receive 10 lessons of driving for £250. I thought, this sounds great! But I should have remembered the old adage: if it's too good to be true, it probably is. I noticed as we had more lessons, he was skimming time of the beginning and end, cutting my lessons short so I'd have less time in front of the wheel. On top of all this, I barely learnt a thing, just went round the block over and over every lesson. Then 6 lessons in, he said "just so you know, you've almost had all 10 hours. If you could pay me before the next lesson so we can continue, that would be great." He led me to believe that I was to have 10 1:30 hour lessons for £250. False advertisement and shady underhanded practices. And it didn't end there. On my final lesson, he failed to turn up due to "life issues", which would have been fine had he warned me before instead of leaving me waiting in the rain for 30 minutes. So naturally, it was time to change instructors and believe me, there was a noticeable difference. I actually went to gear 3! I'm driving on main roads! It was all the more pitiful that he decided to tailgate me with my new instructor, with a learner at the wheel. Such a good influence on his students. I was actually surprised! Overall, I thought he was nice initially, but clearly he's just unprofessional and greedy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving test while having lesson with Mich from Aston driving school. From the very start Mick made me feel at ease and comfortable behind the wheel. We always made the most out of lessons and i was taught how to drive very quickly. Mick was also very flexible with the timings of my lessons and was able to either start a lesson from home or from after school. I would highly recommend Mick to anyone who is looking to learn how to drive.
